ADP Reviews

When I first started working, I had the option for direct deposit to a bank or use the ADP Aline card. Well, I didn't have a bank I was with at the time and boy do I wish I did. The ADP Aline is the most annoying card I've dealt with to date. They've blocked my card twice now, which I'm not surprised now, looking at all the comments. Currently,y card is blocked because I accidentally requested my account information and now my account is under review for suspicious activity. So I have to send them a picture with my social security card and ID. So in basic terms, my account is being questioned because I accidentally tapped on an option for more information on my account. What else is there to know about my account that app doesn't tell me? Well, I'm guessing so much that I have to have President of the U.S level clearance to know. Hey Trump, I need your information to unblock my card. So overall, don't ever use the ADP Aline card. Based off others comments, I'm not only one who thinks so.

Terrible and Rude

Was on hold for about two hours or more. Once my call was patched through, they were very rude and continue to put me on hold. They claimed there were background voices teaching me how to say things so they could not verify my identity. They didn't take the time to know what I needed yet! I just wanted to change my plan. I'm a paying customer.

Stay far away!

Having long since closed my ADP account, I cannot recall why I did not do it in the first place. What with the repeatedly bounced payments, and lack of any communication as to why they were rejected, it amazes me how they can still call themselves a "business".

Criminal

ADP filed our first quarter correctly for the two states they did file for. The rest of the states ADP just didn't do anything. Then the rest of the year they filed things incorrectly. It has cost us over $30 to fix just with ADP, not including employee time. I had to actually call each state and amend each form myself. Even after I had proof it was ADP, they came back and said nope with no explanation of why they slowly changed the company name, EIN, address, and bank account number. When I was trying to work with ADP to get the year amended I filed out all of the information (correct name, EIN, and address) and they still got this wrong. Apparently speaking with the different state departments this is a very common thing with ADP.

I switched from ADP and Paychex

I was with ADP for 1 year and Paychex for 6 months, I can honestly say they have the worst service ever. I recently changed our Payroll service provider to a small company name R.P.S. of Tampa, Inc and I wish I would have done this earlier. They have outstanding service and you always talk to a live person. If anybody is looking for outstanding and quality service please check out this company. I promise I will never use ADP or Paychex again. Most business owns become complacent and think that ADP and Paychex is the only payroll companies in the world you're wrong. Smaller payroll companies are more dedicated to working hard for their clients.

doesn't live up to standard.

The so-called "security" that their service supposedly offers is virtually nonexistent; I have strong suspicion that the data that I previously entrusted them to keep secret is being divulged to other parties.

Didn't have a problem

I used ADP through my employer and never had a problem with the service. I received my paycheck via direct deposit and could check my statement as soon as my check was posted. I also had access to my benefits through my ADP account and it was nice to have everything there in one place so I could look at it anytime. Good company as far as my experience goes!

Don't switch from ADP RUN to Resource!

I have been with ADP RUN (which is the basic payroll service) for many years. Was promised that upgrading to RESOURCE would be so much easier for me, with so many added benefits to the whole company. IT WAS NOT. It was pure hell. I told them I wanted to go back to RUN after just one payroll, and they promised I would not be charged the thousands of dollars in fees. Then they took the funds out of the checking account anyway. When I try to get the money back, I get no response.

Failure to file state tax forms 2 quarters.

After failing to file the 2nd quarter state withholding and unemployment forms, I thought I had it straightened out and they were filing them. 3 months later I just received another notice from the state that the original form was never filed and the 3rd quarter form was never filed. There are now over $960 in penalties and interest that have accumulated and I still cannot get to speak to anyone who will help. Never get the same person twice and no one ever calls back.

the security on ADP is not adequate to the confidentiality of the data. My home email has received phishing emails from a virus using ADP as a host.

Quite unreliable.

After about three legitimate payments were bounced, I can conclude that ADP is not worth anyone's time.

Great for big business but no respect for the little guy!

Terrible service when trying to set up payroll for a small but expanding business, treated as if my business was not wanted or needed. I felt they could care less about me or my employees.

ADP Sucks

My company has had nothing but problems since signing on with ADP. First, they had the signature of my father who passed away TWO years ago on the paychecks. Then, two payrolls after getting that fixed, our paychecks arrived with NO signature. Our latest payroll had the wrong bank account listed and all our checks bounced! You never speak to the same person twice and there is NO way to actually speak to someone via their website. AVOID ADP AT ALL COSTS!!!

WARNING: Nightmare experience with ADP haunts me even months after closing my account!

I originally closed my ADP account on or around the 14th of January, 2011 after discovering that an error on their part caused my small company to be fined $8000.00 by the State of New York for a lapse in our workers compensation coverage. During the call to cancel I received a cancellation number for my records. Since the day I closed the account I have received nearly $200 of charges on my bank account.

Then just yesterday we got a call from a representative who was calling for our payroll hours. My assistant transferred the call to me and I asked why he was calling. I explained the account had been closed for over two months and that we have not received any calls from ADP since closing the account. I then again for the second time closed the account and asked the representative to confirm that the account was closed and that I would not be charged ANY FEES for my transactions since previously closing the account.

However ADP today has drawn fees on our account after confirming with me yesterday that the acct was closed. This is drawing on an account that I was about to close and it had no money in it. This transaction will result in a insufficient funds fee of $34 if this transaction is not canceled.

Pending Debit $52.00

How can this happen? The lack of professionalism with this organization is deserving of investigation. I'm concerned that the sensitive information on my company and my employees social security numbers are in jeopardy.

Let this be a Warning to any small business owner that payroll services with ADP. I'm considering seeking any legal options or protections from my congressperson.

ADP= terrible service. The company seems to be completly unable to do anything to help a customer if that is what I am. As far as I can tell they are some kind of outsourcing firm. All I needed them to do is tell me why my subsidy did not transfer from my old ins co. to theirs. But they can not or will not do this. Nor will they give me the info to find out for myself. They opened what they considered to be a investigation over three weeks ago but still no answer. I will send them the original rate and just hope for the best. Good luck to you if ya have to deal with this outfit.
