I love adt
I am a current user of ADT. I love the fact that me being safe in my home is no longer a anxiety trigger for me. I love the fact that I get stickers and signs to warn burglars,

Not bad
I have an ADT system in my house and it is not bad. It has gone off randomly during bad storms, but that is it. It is hard to get ahold of CS sometimes, which is scary because it is a home protection company (!) but so far so good. They have good prices and quick installations.

The system need upgrade
Everyday it will trigger by itself and getting help was terrible customer service could careless!

ADT: Poor customer service
For a company that is designed to take care and protect ones home and family they seemed to care about nothing else but getting my money and having an installation happen as quickly as possible. It was not a pleasant phone call, I understand working on commission but you have to earn it!

after install of system my phone does not work.
the customer service dept is very poor inmy opinion. I feel that they should have
sent someone out right away to fix the problem. I have been without a phone for
a few day. without a phone is my alarm system working. no one can can tell me .

Before the installer was to come out I decided to cancel. In retrospect I realized that ADT is both very expensive for what you get, and I think it was pretty high-pressure. When I called to cancel I had to do it 4 times as each time I was routed to a different department then nothing but hold music for 15+ minutes. I just kept calling back until I made them stay on the phone to get someone that could help. Finally (they say) it was cancelled. If the installer comes out tomorrow I think I will be taking them to small claims court if they attempt to charge me for the visit.
