I am surprised that the full package for TV does NOT include ON DEMAND nor SY-SY channel, it gives alot of channels but most are crap and i do not need a million sports channels etc, i have deleated half of the channels and cannot get the ones i used to get on COMCAST. I do like uverse just not the channel line up it SUCKS

Fraud rip off con artists

This company totally lies to you and rips you off never has billing correct and never will correct when accounts are to have been corrected time and time again they are totally wrong it would not care if they went bankrupt and starved to death even though that is horrible so are they taking money from the poor to give to the rich shame on them . PEOPLE SHOULD GATHER TO GET THIS STOPPED ONCE AND ALL!!!

I don't know what any of you are talking about. I've had UVerse for 4 years now and I personally think it's great. If I have "any" problems they are fixed immediately and I've had "maybe" a couple. I am completely satisfied with UVerse. SO much better than my previous cable carrier.

Our AT&T Uverse internet service seems to be getting less and less speedy and less responsive to commands. Why is this? AT&T keeps promoting its speedy service while it seems the opposite is becoming increasingly true.

What explanation can you provide that would convince us to stay with AT&T?

I Like The Change To Uverse So Far . The Only Complaints I Have Is No Hallmark Channel. This Channel Is Very Important To Me And Would Like To See It Included Very Soon. I Want To Keep Uverse But This May Be A Deal Breaker In The Futiure , Perhaps By Then It Will E On My Uverse So I Can Keep It. Also The On Demand Seems To Be Lacking In Lots Of Programs,i Always Watch Cbs When I Watch Network Tv, But Dont Seeem To See Any Cbs Programs On My Uverse, This Also Is Of Concern To Me.
Hope Uverse Steps Up To The Plate On These Items.

I am so sorry I switched to Uverse. From the moment it was installed there were problems. They even disconnected my land line that i had for years. I have spent hours on the phone with non English speaking reps. to settle problems.There is no accountability or way to identify who you are speaking to. AT&T should be ashamed they have a product like this and poor service. Even a worker for Uverse said they jumped the gun on this start , before bugs were worked out. I am so frustrated , but afraid to cancel to add to problems. DO NOT switch to Uverse

New menu format

This new format is the worst!. If you have a smaller screen you can not even see the writing.
I'm not sure who thought of this. I have talked to other customers who have u verse and they are changing. I'm in process of checking other carriers as this is not user friendly.
Also, the change to the games was a big mistake.
I enjoyed playing the jt blocks. Now if you want to play a game you have to pay for it, and jt blocks is not on it.

Good service, but pricey

We decided to get AT$T Uverse because of a special they had. We found the service was good. Although the unit you keep in the home was a bit bulky. However, once the special was over and we started paying for the normal rates, it was too expensive for us. We terminated and went back to Time Warner.
Overall: Good service if you can afford it.

U Verse better yet U WORSE

am not exaggerating when I tell you that I have spoken to U WORSE technical support 21 times since January...........due to internet outage one day..........tv outage the next day..........and the wireless is great but not compatible to DVR, because if you pause the TV.....and return to watching your program.....your picture will freeze.........if you record something on your DVR.......and attempt to watch a program..........the picture freezes. I honestly have the personal phone number of a U WORSE technician (who lives in my area) programmed in my phone...

I'm still waiting for my service to be install.......

back in December of 2011 I placed my order for U verse. The same day that they were supposed to come for installation they called to reschedule because, there was a problem outside( they needed to put something in the electrical pannel just down the street from my home.And since then I've been waiting since then...today is March fourth of 2013 and no cable or internet. Oh!! and the technichian the installed my phone just 4 days ago said that I might loose my phone signal if it rains because their wire system isn't that great like big companies.

AT&T Review

AT&T has great speed and overall customer service. I do not have the TV Service, just the IP-DSL with Internet and Telephone only.

So far I have a good constant 16.5 - 17.2 Mbps rate down (18 Mbps service) which is pretty rock solid through out the day.

Over all I am very please and would recommend U-Verse IP-DSL/Telephone to anyone. I can't speak on the true U-Verse with TV, as it's not available here.

Deceptive advertizing and slow U-Verse

When I signed up for ATT U-Verse Internet Pro this month, the customer rep told me that the special offer would just cost me $14.95/month. That's it, I thought. Nowhere in the conversation did he mention that it would cost another $100 for the Internet Gateway modem and another $50 for an service activation fee along with the other governemnt fees and taxes.

So I thought I would improve on my download speed since my previous internet was 1.5 Mbps and this one suppose to be 3.0 Mbps. But when I did a speed test on it, the speed I got today was 0.31 Mbps. Can't see Youtube videos really good at that speed.

Horrible Not trustworthy Customer Service

Cash 220.00 MondayAm & Wrote check for 450.00 & then paid online to agent 158.00 total payments 1150.00 owed 750

Monday
I talked with Marilyn was on hold 18 mins.
All they had to do was tell me what was owed and when !
Ashley finally answered with ivr saying pay to pay online ,very exasperating since they cut off my online access .I have to go through Que. hell in order to get a real person.
I thought it was because they had talented agents
I really wanted access to see if I had paid them though a second source of funds now I had no way of doing this and it was quite frustrating.
Mr Maulkeel is one who gave me an especially hard time
He is the one who I think placed the cancel order or I had at least talked about canceling due to his haranguing me
Spoke with one woman that seemed to have a grasp of what was happening and we got disconnected
She never called me back ,this time I drove to Tittabawasie branch and deposited 220 cash.At this time I still knew nothing of any lasting suspension
I was still of the impression that a couple of hundred would release any hold since my total monthly bill was only 400 bucks .
No one told me my account was suspended or especially cancelled.
The last bill I saw was 270.00 Due February 20th So this whole suspension /cancellation came out of nowhere for me.
Tuesday I find out through my son Henry telling me I had better call in by 6 pm and mention retention or restoral.I did mention that to Jamee but she said she could do it.
I called uverse support after work at 5:37 Had I known any of this I could have stopped at the office and paid on the spot,since only my son had told me this
I talked to jamee and she was very nice and persuaded me not to ask for a supervisor until she had a chance to fix my issue .
I told her how I heard of a cancellation that a uverse employee had placed and how upset I was and how it was so unfair.
She did not find the correct kind of suspension until later in the call i.e.,she missed getting me to the right group and now it was after 6 and they were gone, but maybe if I paid the past due balance of 150.00 she could get me turned back on. I gave her my debit card I waited while she debited my account the 150 ( actually she told me 150 but the charge came through as 158+)
She put me on hold many times and would come back with she was talking with this group or waiting on this other group to restore services.
Then she changes and starts saying the account is cancelled and I will have to pack up my routers etc and mail them back and they were worth hundreds of dollars each so I should be careful.
I should mail them to an address she would give me,they will be charging me 40 dollars for this. If I want a new connection I will have to order it and a sales person will be calling me at work tomorrow.This is all the while a check for 450 clears today.
I told het that was unacceptable .I don't take inbound calls and what would make them think after this I would like to reconnect with them .
We were working through my issue I thought by paying and being reinstated that would end the issue. No there was more stories to come out of att
at 636 she kindly told me she had to leave for the night. and I would have to ship back all of their equipment or be charged 200.00 per router

I drove to the store where I purchased almost 1,400 +worth of i Phones and spent $5,000.00 Last year with them.
Talked with Gary Slavin ,nice guy , I took him outside and told him I have called in 10 times and gotten 4 different stories
How their support staff doesn't have current information and often mis lead the caller.
There is a story where an agent told Henry the account was cancelled by another agent at my behest . I did no such thing
That is when they pushed it through cause once it is cancelled the notes have to be court ordered to be seen
And I will be precluded from facing my accuser and my slights will be pushed under the carpet like last weeks dirt.

I am seeking advice


They are so two faced .Gary said he had a special phone that can get things done .
He came back and told me it is discoed and If I cancel all services there will be over 500 dollars in early cancel fees .
Now with all my payments on a cancelled account it will be impossible to feet info on who said and did whaT .


I see this is predatory usual\rry rates unfair billing practices switch and bait
I would like to join a groupl of people interesting in righting the billing procedure wrongs that they promulgate to better their bottom line .
Att knows they do this they know how and when to the the overages by using lies and deception.
I want my phones released No charges to me or my sons.No Sales people will call on me.
No negative billing stories or reports internal or external if you do you will be subject to 5,000 fine .
I would like this letter read to every employee My family came into contact with the last two days.
No employee should be decipilinied except for the person that entered the wrong order.

WE need to get the tapes from two weeks ago and the last 3 days if we have to
Im so pissed I have it all packed up ready for a shipping address.

U verse is hiding fees

U verse sent $140.10 to collection and I called them to ask them WHY? and all they did was transferring my calls between departments and eventually hang up they did that to me two consecutive days. Finally I get tired of calling them. And now I'm disputing the case with the credit bureau

Okay service

I switched from Comcast to U-Verse last year and am not overly thrilled with the service. The recording capacity is not large for a household that records a ton of shows (though this can easily be fixed by deleting recordings as soon as you watch them, or deleting unneeded recordings) and you can only record a certain number of shows at once (you have to pick and choose which primetime shows you want to watch - annoying!). Our service was down for about 4 or 5 days straight and it took forever to get someone out to help us. They seemed to run us around in circles instead of outright helping us, and that was annoying. Overall, I don't think the quality of the service and customer service are worth the price!

A&TT dosent Work

I'm a new customer and I have problems with the service since day one. I called customer service like 25 times and still have no solution. Defenely I don't recommend A&TT service. Stay away from this company. The technical guys came to my home like 10 times and still

I have AT&T Uverse (voice) & internet the problem is not the customer service,it is the service it self.This new modem is slower than mosslases in 90 degree heat.Most every thing with this modem, brings half a page & the rest when it wants to.Just waitttttttttt.The phone service(land line)is much better,eith the exception of international calling i cannot use the ten ten number as i have used before the change.

Uverse? it's a joke!

We had U verse installed adn went on holiday the same day so didn't watch it until we got back. We have yet to see a TV program without it loosing signal several times. They sent out another technician, who said that the whole area was the same and there was little they could do. That was after he changed out all the cables. When I called to report the problem, we were told it might be a $99 call out fee! I was adamant that it was no fault of our equipment. how can two computers and two TVs all go out at the me time, and all come back on together. After the technician left, it was doing the same thing. Complete signal loss approximately every thirty minutes, and sometimes several times in the same period. We have had this less than a month and want rid of it....but we have to pay to get rid of it, so save yourself some grief...DONT get U -verse! and as I type this...its gone off...AGAIN!

New Customer

We live in Southern CT and switched from Comcast to UVerse to receive the multi room DVR. Overall satisfied with the product. However sales person did not explain you are limited to (2) HD channels at one time and (2) normal channels for a total of 4 channels at one time. We have seven TVs so you are limited. With Comcast we could have all 7 on at the same time and different channels. However the multi room DVR is really nice. With Comcast we had the small box on each TV and it didn't get the HD stations.

The UVerse internet is much slower than Comcast! Regardless of what ATT tells you, expect the internet to be slow.

Awful

I am seriously thinking of suing AT&T. I have has nothing but endless problems with them. First they tell me I could have fast speed internet for $34.99 (not too bad) when I received my bill they were charging me for a modem that never sent (I has my own and didn't need it) and a technician that never came. My bill was $325! Seriously? So I called them and was transferred numerous time. When I was finally able to speak with someone they said it had to be investigated and charges would be updated and a new bill sent. I was fine with that except the bill never came so I called and they told me service was disconnected and I would have to open a new account. Fine, so I opened a new account and was still waiting on the credit feom the previous account. My new bill comes from the new account and once again I am being charged fees for services and modem never received. I called again this time with my old account # and my new account #. I knew I was due a credit from my old account # and asked them to transfer to my new account. They did and then I disputes the new charges and went back through the same thing AGAIN! This 3rd time I'm really upset. They credit my account again for services and products never received and I paid them the balance which was a normal monthly fee. I paid told them I was tired of going through this every month. I thought I was done with this situation and got wireless internet elaewhere. Then 3 months later I receive a early termination fee from AT&T. Are you kidding? I didn't have a contract!! I call yet again and I am told they could waive it if I open a new account and put a deposit of $100 and have them set up automatic bank draft for monthly payments. I got ugly with them at this point cause how much BS could they come up with. If I am getting bills for $325 everytime I open a new account you will draft $325 instead of $34.99 plus tax! Hell no! I went back and forth with them and they insist on keeping the early termination fee unless I open a new accout. Are they that desperate to basically threaten with charges if you don't get service with them?! Do they not comprehend that I would still have service with them if they hadn't continuosly charge me for services and products never needed or wanted or received?! I am tired of this. Please save your time and money because they are not customer friendly. One mistake on a bill is forgivable, but 3? Nope, they are abuse. I'm not getting service through my cable company and even if I pay $40 a month it is problem free.

Missing twc

I have four tv's if all in use I can not rec. We were told u colud u can not get more dvr boxes one per house so dvr box does us no good time warner was better each room gets dvr if u have a big busy fam. This dvr is no good

Horrible!

Im tired of having these so called technicians in my house. They always start out blaming me for the remote and tv not working as if there is something I should be doing to tune the tv on and off besides pushing a power button. They act as if they are so put out with having to come here and fix my problems again. Then they spend two hours inside and outside, in the attic "fixing" what they had first blamed on me. They leave and a few days later same problem occurs. Pixilating, frozen tv and computer. Remote that doesnt work or turns on box without turning on tv. I am going to have all this stuff yanked out and start over with a new company!

My AT&T U-Verse DVR failed TWICE within 7 days and I lost every single recording!

Why are my comments limited, this isn't Twitter! My husband and I have really busy schedules so we record all of the shows we like and let them build up until we have some free time. Last Monday, I was in the middle of switching through recordings and it suddenly failed. So, they rebooted the system, and we lost ALL of the recordings. Then, we were watching a show on Thursday, and about 3/4 of the way in, it suddenly failed. We tried everything we could in restarting, etc., to no avail. Now, to top it off, we ran into the same frozen issue with On Demand and have been on the phone for 2 hrs trying to solve it. Frack this, we are buying a Tivo, Hulu Plus, and switching to a different provider. In fact, in the time my husband has been on the phone I already set that up. Customer service has been as supportive as possible, but it's just a craptastic product.

We have had the ATT/Uverse plan for over a year. Had to cancel - the fees are unbelievable. A fee on the bundle cancellation, then a $200 cancellation of the first phone and a $300 cancellation fee on the second phone. What a rip.

Now my comment is why in havens name that you all have not put any new 3D movies since the beganning of summer,you still have the same old ones. Can you please change them to something new PLEASE. U-verse Internet service

At&t u-verse is the worst! AT&T is so greedy they are disgusting! They keep changing the IP addresses so your computers do not work with your printers then they sell you a static IP address , then they tell you it's their faulty equipment and give you a credit and then turn your paid in full iPhone service off because you did not pay your bill because you had a credit. Then they change your IP address again and sell you IT support for $25 a year! They suck

termination fee

System operation compared to Dish

I changed over to Uverse from Dish because of rain fade. I'm starting to think the rain fade will be better than dealing with the stupidest system operation I have ever seen. The Info does not stay up long enough. The info provided is a joke. Navigating the channels are even more of a joke. You cannot select just your channels but you got to slog thru all the channels in the Uverse. They got the Texas and Big 10 channels full time here in NE Fla and no SEC coverage. I could go on and on I HATE UVERSE

TERRIBLE

There sales center try to sell you everything you dont need. My bill was always different every month. After 1 year, I was so disgusted that i cancelled the uverse tv and they billed me a cancelation fee. If any received the same experience, file a complaint with ftc. Its a shame that they are such vultures because uverse is actually better that the others because you can get more markets which is great here in Florida

Worst Experience Ever!!! I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering!

Based on my experience today, I cannot understand how AT&T is one of the top telecommunications companies in the states. Marginalizing  customers should not be a profitable business practice! A  compny that cuts massive corners that negatively affect customers should -- in a capitalist economy -- fail and be replaced  by another  company with better practices and values. But, behold, the mighty AT&T survives and thrives.Â

Ordered U-Verse Internet and Cable on the promise that my current internet service would not be disrupted until the new service was installed. Tech came out early actually (+1), but experienced what one of the 8 people I spoke to at AT&T over the course of the day (-8) referred to as a "facilities issue," which essentially means it's my fault. Tech 1 leaves because he's "unqualified" to fix the facilities problem (rep #4's words, not mine), so Tech 2 arrives to fix it, and Tech 1 is nowhere to be found. Where'd he go? To another -- probably equally dissatisfied -- customer's home. Okay, he'll be back later today to clean up his mess, right? WRONG!!!! Oh, but not only did he fail to install the new service, he also decided to cut off the old one. Result? No internet for me.

After three hours on the phone (most of it on hold listening to their crappy music and automated advertisements) the balance consisting of my yelling into the phone demanding to speak to a supervisor, the manager begrudgingly set up an all day appointment for tomorrow .... to set up the service that was shut off today. No BBQ for me. And still no U-Verse. I guess the tech coming out tomorrow isn't qualified to do the U-Verse installation. Why don't they just hire people who are qualified to perform all the tasks that may be required of them (or train them)? Probably something about the bottom line (i.e. cutting  corners).Â

Next appointment available for U-Verse? Tuesday in the middle of the day. After sacrificing my entire Labor Day weekend to get, well, the same service that I had before the weekend started, the guy actually has the nerve to ask, "can't you just take the day off?"Â

I am absolutely flabbergasted that a company with this low level of service would be able to survive in this capitalist country!! If you want an example of how far capitalism has fallen since the glory days, look no further for an example than AT&T.

Horrible service all around

New client. Tech after 10 minutes of being at the home he stated he couldn't hook up service and left. Called customer service, I was on hold in between people for an hour. Was transferred from billing to technical support to sales back to technical and then tech said next available appt was in Dec (4 months away). It took me throwing a fit to get a supervisor on the phone that fixed it in 5 minutes.

Disconnected without a reason

Four days without TV serveces (and counting) !!! I called because a receiver did not work and they told me that in order to fix the problem they would turn off the rest of the receivers (3 more) and in a couple of hours I would get a call to confirm, nobody called. After 5 hours I called again, then again 2 calls more, they send a technician, and the best they could tell me it was that somehow my account for TV was terminated but they would reinstate it in hours. One day after is the same story (a total of 7 calls and a visit of a technician) nothing has been solved. Of course they will fill you with a lot of .." we escalate your problem to an upper level and it will be fixed promptly".
If you go to an office they will ask you to call costumer service, but costumer services will not give you a solution ..the perfect "catch 22".

Terrible service

Helpful sales staff but terrible problems over installation: the at&t technician disconnected our old (at&t) phone line but was unable to connect Uverse, and failed to reconnect the old phone. A return visit to the at&t store failed to solve the problem; they claimed that reconnecting the phone would take a week. We will never use at&t again.

great experience

I have actually no complaints. I recieved the rebates as were promised. When I did have to call the people there were helpful. Changes were made in a timely manner when I requested them. My bill was prorated accurately when I downgraded. When the offered me a better package it was usually a money saver in my book. When I terminated my service they actually sent me a rebate check for the service I did not receive. That was a pleasant surprise.

Don't waste your time or money!!!

STOP before you order AT&T U-verse.

It's a nightmare!! Supposed to have phone and Internet 9 days ago and it still isn't working. Paid for a tech to come out and the Internet worked for one day and it's down again and the phone hasn't ever worked. Can't get help or service. I'm canceling my service for this garbage and moving my cell service also. I'm also going to have two of my office team spend the next 40 hours each blasting bad reviews all over the Internet. That right. I'm going to spend 900.00 in labor just to let them and everyone else know they suck. There is a village somewhere missing the "village idiot". If you run across this village. Please let them know he/she can be found running this company.

Att Uverse Specialist(rude sassy people)

Just got off the phone with a person from rewards/rebate and she was nothing but RUDE,SASSY,AND MEAN!!!!!!!!! It is rare that I get that attitiude from the regular offices, like billing or tech support. I had been waiting for a rewards card since the end of April maybe even 2nd week of May but never recieved it. It was supposed to cover the amount for the modem for internet service. I kept calling trying to see what was going on. I felt I should not have to pay when everyone at ATT kept saying I should be recieveing the card and then was told go online and it should be faster. I go online and it says account not verified. What the hell!!! Again tried to call, got the run around. I finally found direct number to rewards center, I called and you guessed it...NO REAL PERSON to talked to. Says they are to busy call back again later. All this time I had my bill extened thinking I would recieve the card in mail. NOTHING! Called back today would not give up and just pay. I want what they promised. This is their doing. So I called this morning and told them not to tranfer me, which they had already recommened on doing. I wanted this resolved. They did a conference call so that I could speak to a rewards person. She was laughing and just really sassy. She said nothing she could do about it. It's coming. She tried talking over me, I would not let her. As I was telling her my issue she would say "Aww!" "Ya" "what a shame". She just said it with this..I don't really give a bad attitude. Like she was not even listening, she wanted to hurry up and be done with me. She also said, " everyday I will go on the system and make sure your specific account is all taken care of and I know when you'll recieve it and you're going to activate it as soon as you get it right?" All while laughing. I told her you bet I will, and if you don't check on my account know that I will be doing that too and calling as long as I have to. She just kept laughing. Then she said,Ya, you should do that. I was transferred to billing where I told them situation and that the lady was rude and sassy...they have the $100.00 on hold until I recieve rewards card. Let's see what happens.

Most disorganized business I have ever encountered.

Had service installed on Friday. HD was part of the agreement, but we were told they were unable to install it. Security system was disabled and we began calling on Friday evening. Finally, after numerous calls, a service tech came to restore our phone line. He arrived, said he was unable to fix it and that it would have to be restored to POTS. We were told that there would be no charge for this tech coming out (why would there be, I wonder, since they Att uverse made the mistake). The tech told us that he would just report that we weren't home so we would not be charged, since he could not fix the problem. Monday morning we began calling again. Another technician was sent out that spliced the line but was unable to get the POTS connected becuse another technician has to do that. So, the technician, as well as us, spoke with
ATT u-verse. Finally, after two hours, we submitted an order and completed a third party confirmation and was re-assured that our original POTS service by Thursday. I called today and spoke with several different persons, Adam, Roger Larry 43W (who promised I could contact him with his full number which was false information as well as his promise taht the POTS WOULD BE RESTORED IN 45 MINUTES, DID NOT HAPPEN), Marvin, Amanda, Jeremy, Mark. Adam did supposedly make another order. Marvin then got on the phone and promised management would come on the line and then hung up. My husband then arrived home and spent another 3 hours trying to get something done without any luck.

From ATT DSL to ATT Uverse

I see a lot of Bad Reviews & want to say ATT I have had ATT DSL for many years & I was to far for the "
Box" & many problems over the years but I have to say ATT sent the people out Many times & I spent Many hours trying to fix things on the DSL & phone with techs & ATT always tried ... I now swiched to ATT Uverse + Landline at a Lower price & Much faster Internet speed (8-14 times) & Much cleaner Land Line, cause it just came to my area ... I cannot get TV yet due to contract with DT ( :-()... but everything OK so far... the ATT tech was very professional & took bout 4 hrs to install all hardware & was polite etc etc ... If I have problems I will write here also ... my Speedtests from Various "Speedtest Sites" ranged from 3.5 - 14.5 download , + , 1.5ish upload...also ATT Always adjusted my bill if I had a reasonable arguement ... all I can say is what happened hope this helps... Worst company ever

It's hard to describe how awful it is to be an ATT customer. Not to mention miserable customer service, they will charge you for junk sms messages that you get. Be very careful reading your bill and understand every charge in there. Because you will be charged for all junk sms messages that randomly lands on your phone. It's very hard to revert those charges on your bill as you have to deal with the customer service (it took me longer than an hour).
On top of all this misery, it's the worst network when it comes to reception.
Stay away. I'm giving a single star because that is the minimum required, they sure don't deserve that

U-Verse Service

Save yourself grief and don't order this service, I am on my 4th tech service call. My second telephone line was disconnected without my authorization, this is a phone number I've had for over 20 years. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Customer service when you finally reach a "live" person is apologetic but useless, techs don't have comprehensive knowledge about the service. One tech could only rewire the DSL jack, another tech surmised that I had two phone lines and that wasn't his department. Hmm.....can't wait for the 4th tech to come out, another 4 hours waiting for AT&T, stay tuned........

They lied in my initial sign up!

I signed up for Uverse and the cs rep said I would be getting the 300 channel package with the 12 mg bits per second internet for $92.00. About a half an hour later, I saw on the internet a promotion deal with the same package and called them back about it and they had me in the system for the 200 channels and 6 mg bits internet and told me that the 92 dollars is just a 6 month deal and that my bill would go up to like 145 dollars. Good thing I saw the online promo and decided to call back and ask about it. The cs rep pretty much lied to me. Her name is Taylor from New York. but I'm sure they are all told to do whatever they have to in order to get a sale. I canceled everything before they could even get started!!!!

I have had nothing but problems since I had this u-verse service my computer still runs slow,and know I am being double charged for bills that I have already paid because they say that my bills are combined,I don't think so,I need help in trying to resolve this matter.

I got Uverse and it's perfect. The install was quick, easy, and effective.
My service hasn't gone out ONCE. They even put $100 back in my pocket, just due to the package I got.
I saved money, got a perfect service, and their customer support is great.

SO FAR I HAVE BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED WITH OUR DVR. EACH TIME WE'VE HAD TO EXPERIENCE AN POWER OUTAGE I HAVE LOST EVERYTHING RECORDED. NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN ON COMCAST.....SERIOUSLY THINKING OF GOING BACK TO COMCAST.

My uverse goes out completely at 12:30 pm and at various times of day/night thereafter.

Despite the tech coming out here; completely rewiring from box to modem (15 feet away); the rotten service continues.

The new replacement modem gets hot; so I switch modems; reset; and occasionally get back online.

I wish to cancel my contract (I didn't agree to rotten service), but will be penalized with a large fee.

Where is our consumer protection?

ATT, I suppose, gives $$$$ to electeds to protect them and abuse us, the consumers.

Happy for the most part:)

I believe all companies have problems whether it be ATT or the guy down the block. It really has to do with who you talk to. So far I've been pretty lucky. I've spoken with many a rep and for the most part they've been pretty pleasant. If I have a problem, they usually will work with me--tech support, billing, and payment arrangements have saved my service. Of course, there are always the grumpy ones.
This is what I do...I always get their name who's helping me. If they are good I always compliment them with Thanks ---! If they are snide, I say "what was your name again" and then tell them they can go ahead and END my service! That gets a lot of attention (you know they can get fired for that--bad customer support) Usually they tranfer you to someone else thats pleasant. What we get is awesome...sure it costs a bit more but we enjoy it! Uverse is tv, internet and home phone. Unfortunately, I have to have a landline.
There is one thing I don't like is the forever hold times on the phone. I try to do everything online. Not so long a go, a recording use to come on that would ask you if they could call you back when one of their reps were available or you can hold for the next 20 minutes. I really liked that service. I could do whatever I was doing and then have them call me for my questions or whatever. I havent had any trouble with tech support except for 1 woman but for the most part they are good! One time I was on the phone for 2 hours and he was extremely patient and nice then he asked if he could call later if I had any follow-up questions...awesome--good job ATT!

AT&T Unverse Tech Support is hopeless

Earlier today my wife was able to access her email account and our account information. Currently it is 9 p.m. Since 2 p.m. she has not been able to access either. We have no luck finding a technical service person to help and passwords emailed to us have not solved the problem. In desparation I went to the AT&T corporate store and they informed me they couldn't help us. I couldn't believe this since they were the ones that sold us the service and were able to set it in the store. Once we get this resolved and we can get the information we need we will terminate our service.

The customer is always right, wrong...

If you like being treated like a second class citizen/ customer, ATT is the provider for you.

If you only desire to speak to automated telephone support, ATT is the provider for you.

If you enjoy the inablility to settle any sort of dispute whatsoever, ATT is the provider for you.

If you're enamored by offensive and threatening business letters, ATT is the provider for you.

God forbid you should decide to upgrade your services with them because they'll continue charging you for both the old services and new ones.

After 6 prision-like years of services (if you know what i mean), I'm sending it all back. Good riddance.

ATT, this is my last act as a paying customer, and it's only befitting that I let everyone know how wonderful you are!

Poor Customer Service

Service has been down for more than 24 hours. After waiting all afternoon for a repair they sent someone unqualified. Another night without tv, phone or internet. Try getting through to someone on the phone, be prepared for a long wait.

I was promised a visa gift card for signing up with u-verse in the amount of $250. They sent me a $50 gift card and I had to call for the rest. Now I can't even find a number to contact customer service. Wow what great service. I should have stayed with Direct TV!!

The screen pixilixes every night and ATT has been out 6 times and still doesn ot know what is wrong. Yhey now gave me a date 6 weeks out to dig up somthing but in the meantimes i have limited to no service. Looks like its back to Comcast.
