Aetna is money sucker insurance company!!! They didnt pa my bill and they just paid 100some dollars of my 800$ bill amd they keep getting lots of money on my paycheck!!!! Eo when i call them they just basically trying to say that ueah were just collecting money!!!! Sucker!!! Id rather pay my bill in cash and save up those money that u collect on my paycheck rather than be in your company!!!! I hate these mf insurance company!! Dont get aetna!!!

Several people at my job were denied on the STD claims. I was in a car accident and injured my back, neck and wrist but was denied. Two people had back surgery and their claism were denied. The denial reasons were absurb. I complained of migraines and simply put there was no "physical evidence" of such. I didnt know that you could see a headache...

AETNA is a terrible insurance company. AETNA will waste your time and money trying to wear you out. I lost a year of my life because AETNA would not approve a clinical sleep study that multiple doctors ordered. Every one of my doctors and their office staff agree that AETNA is the worst insurance company in the industry. I hate the fact that my employer forces me into AETNA. AETNA would rather their customers die so they would not have to pay insurance claims. Everything my doctors order or prescribes is denied by AETNA. When you call AETNA they pass you along to different inept non-customer service agents including other companies that make decisions for them ==MedSolutions. AETNA is too chicken __ __ __ __... to tell you that they deny everything your doctor orders. Why bother going to the doctor if everything will be DENIED/DENIED/DENIED/DENIED........

Great customer service
They were very nice and respectful over the phone, actually sounded like they wanted my business and would take care of me. Will follow up with more information as I am looking at changing my insurance provider.

I had been reimbursed for two years for a mental health provider from Aetna with no issue. Suddenly they "lost" her credentials. She resubmitted them in January 2011, and here I am, 3/28/11, after 10 phone calls, much documentation, I'm still waiting for reimbursement on over $700 in services. They keep telling me this "system hasn't updated", and other runarounds. There is no process for escalation beyond the initial customer service rep/supervisor. They are terrible. I lost my job in January, and this money is critical for our family. Aetna is the WORST INSURANCE COMPANY I've ever dealt with.
