Disappointed
We had a meeting with an aflac insurance consultant here I'm Las Vegas NV his name is joshua west he was highly recommended by a family friend meeting went well we were looking into getting a life insurance policy plan he was great answered our questions explained everything really well until we were walking to our cars he opened his car door and it smelled like weed I asked him about it here aid that he smokes weed before he goes to work he said that it calms his nerves and he said everyone knows his co workers and management team know which broke our hearts we will not be doing business with aflac we complained at the aflac Facebook page and they blocked my friend so this is how aflac solves there problems blocks people from speaking the truth so very sad

I am sorry, it seems that too many people post only negative comments. I guess it is human nature. My wife was diagnosed with Cancer in February and has had several chemo treatments and hospital stays. We used the online system to file our claim and got payment over $8000 within 24 hours!!! IF YOU FILE YOUR PAPERWORK RIGHT THEY PAY. Don't be an idiot and put stupid stuff online that you know is false. We have had Aflac for over 10 years and they never fail to do what is right as long as we do our part. Awesome company, awesome staff, and they do what the policy says they are going to do.

I have read my Cancer Policy over and over it say's you can not be diagnosed or treated for cancer before your 30 day waiting period. I have even called in to sales and inquired about the policy as if I didn't have. I was told having a mammogram before your effective date did not matter. The day you're diagnosed is what's important

I Just Received A Check From Aflac Which Is A Joke. After Months And Months Of Getting A Run Around I Went To The Assistant District Attorney In Your Area. The Comment I Got Was, " We Are So Glad Someone Has Finally Stepped Up And Nailed Them For False Advertising." Your Ads Do Not Stipulate A Seperate Policy Is Needed To Collect For Time Off Work. We Got The Run Around From All Of Your People Since May.there Was No Payment For The Surgery Which All Information Was Sent-and A C D Of The Operation As Well. Your People Continued To Promise Fast Resolution To This And We Constantly Got Inept Workers That Simply Never Ever Followed Through. I Plan To Follow Up With The Assistant District Attorney For False Advertisement And Add The Better Business Bureau To This As Well. I Cannot Say Enough Bad Things About Your Company And Its False Advertising.

The agent came to my work ( my work is cigar bar) and tried to sell short time disability insurance. I asked her if Im pregnant and I cannot work because of the smoke , does this insurance cover me or not. She said yes. That,s why I buy it. Two year later I got pregnant. I contact her. She said she not sure . How is she not sure after 2 years. She should make sure before sold it to me. Now she told me I have to continue to work until the doctor says i can't physically work. If I stop working at my job(cigar bar) I won't get it. So I have to work in the smoke. She should have known this from the beginning. I feel I have been misled because of my language, or the agent did not know what was covered which she should.

MY paper work was always processed faster than the alloted time initially given and everything was always such a breeze no complaints thus far.

About nine months ago during open registration at my place of employment AFLAC put on their Dog and Pony show about what great supplemental health insurance they were and how they would help pay your bills, etc. What AFLC doesn't bother to tell you is that they make filing a claim that they will accept as difficult as possible. They have already denied a perfectly legitimate claim from me. I was looking into filing a claim for my wife, who was recently injured at work, when I discovered that AFLAC expects you to provide their claim form to the physical while you are being treated for the accident. So while you are in the middle of an emergency you are expected to stop, logon to the AFLAC website, sign in, download and print the claim form. Perhaps AFLAC thinks you should download and a keep a copy of their accident claim form on your person at all times in the event that you might have an accident sometime in the future. Most of us don't have time to make an appointment with an attending physician after an accident to have them fill out an accident claim form, and most physicians are too busy treating the patient to take time to fill out AFLAC's accident claim form. Is this a criminal action? Sadly no, but it goes beyond unethical. I understand that AFLAC is in business to make a profit, and I am sure they do quite well by making it as difficult as possible for it's customers to file a claim. They might want to add the requirement that the accident form be signed with the blood of a virgin, during the dark of the moon. The board of directors should be all over that idea. Anything to sweeten the bottom line and up those bonus dollars.

these guys are real quacks
pardon the duck reference. these guys suck. my mom recently had a surgery and had to miss 3 weeks of work, all of which the aflac rep assured us she was covered for. well, when it was all said and done she received compensation for only 1 week. when i spoke to them about it, they told me that it was a policy that you dont get covered for the 1st week. they completely ignored the 3rd week as if it never happened. when informed that we were told and had in writing that she was covered for all 3 weeks, they told us that the representitive must have been mis-informed and that they were not responsible for his mistake. thats a terrible way to do business, to allow your employees to tell people whatever they want and not feel the need to come through with what you agreed to do. never again.

If you work with machinery you need Aflac!
Aflac displayed nothing but great support for me when I suffered an at work accident working at a Walmart, my Christmas bonus might have gone down because of a onsite accident but it didn't matter, I was safe and Aflac took the bill!

A MUST HAVE
I HAD AN ACCIDENT 3 YEARS AGO AND WITHOUT AFLAC I WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST. MY AGENT WAS GREAT IN HELPING ME HAVE THE RIGHT FORMS FILLED OUT AND WHAT DOCTORS REPORTS I WAS GOING TO NEED. SHE ALSO HELPED IN THE PROCESS OF HAVING THEM CUT MY CHECKS AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE. WITHIN 5 DAYS I HAD A CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT I GOT FOR MY INJURY AND ON THE 10TH DAY I HAD MY FIRST CHECK FOR MY TEMPORARY DISABILITY (BECAUSE YOU HAVE A 10 DAY WAITING PERIOD BEFORE YOU CAN COLLECT THAT). I WOULD NEVER GO WITHOUT THIS ESPECIALLY WITH HAVING KIDS. MY ONE ACCIDENT PAYOUT NOT ONLY GAVE ME ENOUGH TO NOT ONLY COVER EVERY PENNY I HAD EVER PAID TO HAVE THE INSURANCE BUT ALSO TO COVER THE PAYMENT FOR THE NEXT YEAR AND IT SAVED MY LIFE WITH MY DISABILITY PAYMENTS OTHERWISE I WOULD BE HOMELESS AND HAVE NO CAR.

PR done right
Despite the recent flack about the loss of thier notorious AFLAC Duck voice, due to embarrassing cirucumstances, the company has managed to turn it around with a widely popular contest for a replacement. This gave them tons of free media, and ended up turning a potential scandal into a business opportunity. Good for them!

WOW READING YOUR COMMENTS ARE VERY TERRIBLE, I WILL HAVE TO SAY THAT I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER WITH AFLAC. I HAVE ONLY BEEN WITH THEM SINCE 2007 BUT WHEN MY HUSBAND HAD TO HAVE SURGERY I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE CLAIM NOR WITH HIS FOLLOW UP AND THERAPY PAYMENTS. I ALSO JUST WENT THRU A INJURY ON THE JOB AND ALSO HAD TO GO TO THERAPY AND MY CHECK IS ON THE WAY. I HAVE ONLY USED THEM 3 TIMES SINCE I HAD IT BUT HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM AT ALL. I HAD TO DO A NAME CHANGE AND THAT WENT VERY SMOOTHLY ALSO I DID IT OVER THE PHONE IN A VOICE RECORDING. SO I AM UNSURE WHAT YOU GUYS ARE DOING WRONG OR MAYBE LIKE THE PERSON SAID YOU ARE NOT SENDING IN ALL THE PAPERWORK NEEDED OR SOMETHING, BUT I LOVE IT AND WOULD NOT CANCEL.
