AOL serves it's purpose
As of yet, I have not had a problem with AOL that could not be fixed. They have done a pretty good job staying afloat considering the amount of people using AOL. There may be a lot of complaints out there, but if those people are really dissatisfied there are other options to use.Overall, Aol serves it's purpose for most people.

Aol is a train wreck in the summertime a hot catastrophe.I stopped using these people and haven't looked back since.I'm surprised they're still around.Steveo9632000.... February 17th, 2012
Terrible customer service and product
AOL has been outdated for years now and it really slows, the website is cluttered, loads slow, and has way too many features that just bog it down. Streamline it for the people please!dandaman1200.... December 19th, 2011
Is it still around?
I remember always getting free trails to AOL in the mail back when I was young, and it was the first internet my family tried. It was amazing at the time, and way above average for internet speed at the time. The customer service was outstanding. One time we had problems with our internet connection not coming through, and they had someone fix it for free immediately. Overall, a great company that I may start using again if they are still aroundAnonymous-43405.... November 22nd, 2011
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have been with AOL for the past 10+ years and have recently in the past two weeks switched to a free account. My thank you resulted in hacking of our accounts sending lewd e-mails to all our customers and contacts. You should be sued! I'm considering it!Anonymous-41128.... October 24th, 2011
AOL Homepage
AOL Customer Service:My family and I have been loyal customers for about 10 years, but we're writing to tell you that we're strongly considering changing our Internet server to another company.
We are fed up with your AOL homepage!! Everyday your homepage is full of trashy subject matter. It's gotten worse and worse. AOL, you need to *clean up your act* and become more "family friendly." Your customers do NOT want to see dirty innuendos and blatant filth on your homepage.

Sad and slow
The site's access are painfully slow and I'm sick of all the Huffpost biased articles-especially against conservatives. It's such a pain to change e-mail addresses but I'm seriously considering it.ehjohnson7.... July 23rd, 2011
good for casual user
not for cronic browsers(over 3 hours a day)Anonymous-30319.... June 6th, 2011
If this, my 6th download of 9.6, does not work correctly - I will give up. I can't get thru on any phone number and I will NOT pay $38 to request a disc for better download. This product is MISERABLE. After more than 20 years with AOL I am willing to leave.

hahahahahahahahaha
AOL has become a laughing stock. They have also become the nanny ISP: you can't do this, you can only do this if you ask us, we'll punish you if you do that, etc. Please. Stop treating your subscribers like babies. I quit AOL in 1996 and cannot understand why anyone would use them. Their email kicks out everything; you can only send the smallest attachments; their features are just silly. There are so many better alternatives out there; even Comcast is better than AOL, and that's not saying much.Anonymous-27109.... April 17th, 2011
Ever since Huffington Post took over news service on AOL, the news looks more like articles from People Magazine. Can we go back to more seriouse news articles?

This company sucked the first and only time I signed up 14 years ago (had it for less than a year), and they still suck today. Use a different provider no matter what it takes or costs. If not, you'll get shafted sooner or later. My problem with them today is that lately I've been getting 30 to 50 explicit and disgusting adult spam emails a day, all with AOL addresses. Their system has obviously been hacked big time. I just keep forwarding them to their customer service department since they have no security for their system or members. Happy reading AOL idiots!!!
