Be careful buying Apple products. They do not stand by the quality of their products. I have numerous Apple products and this last one, an iPhone7, had a defect that cracked the screen with a very minor drop. I believe it had to be a manufacturing defect as I have another one that is still flawless after months of use and dropping. When you research the iPhone7 you find all kinds of other evidence that shows you can drop it from a distance on a concrete floor from several feet in the air and it doesn't damage the phone. Regardless, Apple refused to admit that it could be a defective device and quoted over and over that they can fix it for a minimum of $129 and that even if the device had a flaw that caused a weakness they will only fix it atnormal repair costs. Let me also clarify that this happened within the first 24 hours of purchasing the phone. So, if you're going to buy apple products be prepared to pay extra for Apple Care and then some as they will not take care of you if there are flaws in the product. Pretty sure unless they change their mantra with me, I will not buy any more Apple products.

its always to good to be true. mac need to address issues that have been building for several years. And the matters get worse. as they so called develop, As they put more into i phone then there computers, IF ANY ONE can get this over to apple head office developers. Tell them to fix the international problem of apple macs like mac books slow use of internet, All these listed issues , I have been all over and tried every forum link and local mac out lets and companies with no result.

Slow connections, Plug in problems with Safari, No true Stereo in the 2011 MBP due to design floor from having a sub woofer. Killed the reason I like mac . never able to write?burn other makes of DVDs 8GB ML other than Verbatim Im sure there is something there where they are an agent conspiring to only allow this make. lion unfriendly for those shortsighted, As leopard Or SL osx you could expand the desc top (enlarge) to read things. And see photos in files. And as the the start button. Power button, When that fails, OMG the price to get it fixed, The whole top has to be replaced , THAT NOT GREEN AND EARTH FRIENDLY IS IT. I cannot afford to get it fixed. And when they up grade OSX , its costs a fortune to up grade all the other programs , as they are not supported. For god sake, make life easy Not go backward. And repair and design affordable to repair.!!!!!!! Apple highstreet help is pretty good on software problems issues, When it come to the above they just shake their head.

Good for the most part

I currently have the ipod5 and I love it. The camera is fast and clear and I have plenty of storage the only thing I don't like is the lack of freedom it doesn't have. Other than that ir's perfect

Apple ipod 4th generation

the apple ipod 4th gen is a pretty nice and handy device. with an option of 8gb, 16gb, 32gb, 64gb. it has many functions
the ipod touch is just like an iphone just without the calling feature.
it has got dual camera(front and back)
speaker
3.5" hd touch display.
it is pretty user friendly and has got classic looks. starting from a very affordabel range of 160 USD
its a best buy deal for the consumers

OVERRATED, OVERPRICED COMPANY

Even though i can sincerely say i appropriate Apple, I hate it simultaneously. Apple used to be a great company at a point. I own a BUNCH of iPod's , a iPhone, and even the iPad Mini. However I am beginning to hate their marketing approach. Not to mention, their profit priority is now clear (i have not seen such a money-hungry company). All their products look stunning at first but I always experience slow-downs in all devices. For example, I own the iPod Touch 4G for 1 1/2 years now (July of 2012) and I began experiencing slow downs 1-2 months after. (When the multitasking bar failed to be a multitasking bar with its lack of RAM) I could not even run more then 1 app without it stopping (it never stayed open). Not even 5 months after purchase, the 5G came out. Only a year later, iOS stopped updating for the iPod 4G (iOS 7). It seems as though they do not keep a high priority on their devices after launching it; they just start working on the next generation for the next year's launch. What was my favorite portable device company is no more. :(

Too much malfunctions while i use as a phone.
really bad. I will change it when the contract expire.

A piece of junk. The staff at Apple are as useless as the so-called upgrade. I spent more than 1 hr on the phone and had to finally call the corporate office where one of their senior technical support staff basically told me to go to an Apple store. If you have not upgraded, DON'T. It is a piece of junk. The Einsteins who designed the ios7 should be fired. If something works, leave it alone. Those morons are a good example of the Peter Principle. I am sure that they have been congratulated and given a merit increase.

Apple is definitely one of the best companies.

Though you might feel that Samsung is better than apple but through my personal experiences Apple's design and elegance makes it different from others.

Actually, it's your own taste.
Give it a try.

I had an issue with shipping of a product. They left an ipad on my porch days after a blizzrd. Luckily, not stolen or soaked by melting snow. Called to complain and asked at least 12 times to speak to a manager before the representative old me I would be on hold for a while and the manager would not say anything he hadn't already said. Bottom line, the shipped it as inexpensively as possible and did not even use the delivery service we had requested when purchasing.

Products last a long time.

I like Apple products mainly because I don't have to keep re-purchasing new products after my old ones break. Other companies should really learn from Apple's example.

.... January 2nd, 2013

Great product quality

I have used apple products since 2004 and I have always had a good experience with them. Though the products are expensive, they have superior quality than that of other products of the like. I have had iPods, an iPhone, and a MacBook laptop, all of which can still be used today. I have never had a problem with battery life, technical issues, or any need to take my gadget in and get it worked on. I am lucky in this regard, because though I love Apple products, they seem to overcharge for customer service.

Really upset with Apple - my $2500 laptop is almost 4 years old but in perfect shape and completely updated - for years my battery charged slowly or not at all and sometimes computer wouldn't start up at all for a day. Finally I started researching it and realized that they gave me a 60 W charger instead 85W designed for it.... You would think that they would just swap it out and give me the one that came with it - but instead they refuse based on age?? It was a $2500 computer not a $300 computer - under 4 years is nothing... I could have purchased a brand new Windows product every year for the past 4 years and it would have cost me less money and less headache. It's ridiculous that they can't even provide what should have come with the original purchase. They should be replacing my battery for free because of the hassle and over use it has had to endure... much less the power supply is was supposed to have!

apple is know to have failing hard drives on thier imacs yet wanted 700.00 to repair my imac never buy a aplle agian

.... October 8th, 2012

My iPad was stolen from me and there is no way of me tracking it. Your company did not alert me i had have iCloud on in order for it to be tracked if stolen. The reason apple does this is so if its stolen you have to buy a new one. Even if you paid close to $1000.00 for one their product. This is poor customer protection. I will no longer buy from apple unless they can work with me to find my stolen item or they can reimburse me for my losses. I will make sure all of my friends know how little apple cares about its customers.

No troubles with iMAc 27" - Love it

I have the 27" iMAC for one year now. Never had any trouble. Beautiful high resolution screen. Quick start-up and it is working like YOU want it to.
I am starting to hate those Windows based platforms... always doing something else (who knows what) in the background, slowing the computer down or disturbing you from focusing what you really want to do on the computer.
Love the apple computer. Recommend it to others.

Odd interface

While Macs are known for their reliability and easy use, I never really got the hang of their odd user interface. However, they excel on the performance standpoint.

Purchased a Mid 2010 Mac Mini new from a reputable electronics store. This model was purchased because of the newer model having removed the optical drive.

The system time started to not update intermittently just 4 weeks after purchase. I first installed a Lion upgrade to try to resolve the issue. No luck...

Contacted Apple Support. Months later all Apple support will do (senior advisor) is to remove all non-apple software because my problem is software related.

There has been two clean installs, one of Snow Leopard, one of Lion. This process cost me hours of data loss as from the problem showing in Snow Leopard, after the fact I discovered Time Machine had also failed.

A week later, same problem.

The first two senior advisors never followed through giving me any contact information. The third one did, but 7 months after the problem first occurred is still saying it is software and not hardware.

Data dumps have been sent to them 10 times since this problem occurred. It was taken to an authorized repair center where that technician simply set the clock, unplugged the machine, plugged it back in several times; returned it saying there wasn't a problem. The problem reported when I took it in to them and the very one I reported to Apple was this happens when the machine it put to sleep! So they never tested the problem.

Three different software crash continuously, each serving a different purpose, each written by a different vendor yet all have the same unresponsive problem and unexplained crash... Apple insists it is this software.

I have researched this problem. It is a known issue since the G5 processor and has occurred on several different models. Each case I found the owner experienced the same frustration but put up with more than I am willing to... Resolution in each of these cases was Apple replaced the logic board and those cases never had a complaint or problem afterwards.

Never have I seen such lousy customer service, reasoning that makes no sense to how they come up with their solutions.

The data dumps sent to Apple give two consistent errors at the kernel level. One is a constantly crashing Apple High Definition Sound Driver and the kernel not being able to find directories. These are consistent while the machine is running and the logs clearly show them... They occur at a rate of 100's of times a second.... Yet Apple 'senior advisors' are telling me this is software.

As an IT person even I can reason, one program from one vendor crash, could easily be a software or driver issue... Two programs crash from different vendors on a consistent basis, you will win the lottery more often... Three different programs consistently crash each written by a different vendor and each doing different things.... You will live your second life with complete knowledge of your first life before that every happens...

I will unfortunately go back to Windows... In the not too distant future, Linux here I come....

Terrific

Almost all of the apple products are phenomenal. They even do recalls to replace products if there is something wrong with it. The only real problems is that the headphones that come with the products break too easily.

Steve Jobs Was A Genius!

I just recently started using Apple products, and I will never go back to Windows again! Apple products may be more expensive, but they are also much longer lasting and higher quality. I just got a macbook air, and I must say I am impressed. It is as thin as my iphone and performs faster than my last windows pc that was a brick. I love Apple, and I don't think anything could change that!

Love My MacBook Pro - 13"

One of the best decisions I have ever made was to make a switch from using an ordinary laptop to using an Apple product - MacBook Pro laptop.

Right now, everything is so easy, quick, efficient when it comes to using my Mac. I can surf the internet much quicker, not worry about viruses attacking my laptop, make movies, music and take photos with so much ease.

Everything is so interesting with Mac. I love it.

Apple products are the best. They're funky and cool!

Lovin' my Macbook and iPhone!!

I bought my 13 inch Macbook Unibody in the year 2008 and it's still working so well and beautifully! Its even still alive today. I'm so loving my macbook due to its fast web-browsing and multi-gesture features on touchpad. The Built-In iSight has an excellent quality of a webcam. No problem so far.

My iPhone....no word can describe my great love for iPhone. It has cool app such as Dragon Diction, Read It, etc that helped me communicate better with the hearing because I am deaf since birth.

Apple Products are wickedly awesome and cool!

I LOVE apple products!

I hate to come across as one of the Apple zombies, but I love Apple products. I love my macbook, and it has lasted longer than any other computer I have ever had. (I use my laptops pretty heavily.) I find that there aren't as many incompatibility issues as there used to be as far as software and programs, etc. I love all the picture and music software that is available and incredibly easy to use from the beginning.

Apple seems to set the trend for what is cool and hip to have, although I think there are good equivalents to all of thier products out there.

The products I have purchased from products throughout the years have been top notch in quality and design. Rarely do I get a chance to deal with customer service; which is a testament to how good their products are. Not saying they're perfect because no one is perfect. Any who, I love going to their apple store, because their employees are always so enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

Great product and service!

I love Apple products. I will say I prefer android products for mobile devices and tablets, but Apple is a very good, quality product overall. Their tech support and customer service always goes above and beyond. I've never had a bad experience with this company, or their products.

Went to apple store and they told me they couldnt replace my battery in my ipod and I would have to get a new one for $189 dollars. Thought this seemed a bit steep so I went to there website and it says the battery can be replaced. Call them and spent over an hour on hold to be hung up on. Called again and had the girl tell me I was right and would have someone call me back. 2 Hours later they called back and told me to make an appointment. Went to that appointment had to wait over an hour being passed around between 3 people doing nothing for me. Finally saw someone and she took 45 mins to sell me my new replacement ipod. Thanks for wasting my life apple.

I visited the Apple store at the Upper West Side in Manhattan. I had an issue with my IPhone. The employee at the door didn't even want to listen to me and send me to a computer to make an appointment. The computer was down. I approached 3 employees who were chatting, ad they said they were busy and kept chatting and looking at me with a very angry look. I finally found a nice young person who solve my little problem in exactly...20 seconds. I have bought 6 IPads in that store. I'll never go there again!!!

Here a message I sent to APPLE.

Dear Mobile Me Management,

I have had a very troubling experience with your business.

I was billed $99 for a Mobile Me Account that I did't know I had and didn't ever use. No email or other communication came from Apple telling me I was being billed so i never noticed the bill. Why was I not notified by Apple of the charge? I get notices of charges on my itunes account even when i spend $.99. Is this not technically feasible to notify me about Mobile me charges - or is this by design?

I only found out about my "subscription" after i received an e-mail telling me that my subscription was up for renewal. Even then there was no information on how to stop the subscription on the e-mail, no reply e-mail and no number to call. Was this sloppy or intentional - so as to make it difficult to unsubscribe? Even most spam has an unsubscribe option!

It took me an hour and a half to figure out on the website and through automated "systems" who to contact to cancel billing for future non-use. I was not given a refund for the prior year subscription I didn't know I had and did not use. I was told it "couldn't be done". When I asked to speak to a manager, the representative, an Adam Johnson, couldn't or didn't want to give me the name of the person who runs Mobile me, or anyone else in the company. Is management afraid of actually talking to customers?

Apple could have made note of my lack of use of the Mobile Me service and let me know how to use the service and how the service was of value to me. But that might mean I would know to unsubscribe - is that what Mobile Me management is afraid of? Offer something good and people will willingly pay for it. Apparently, that's not the Mobile me philosophy.

This situation and approach to business is beneath Apple and if I took this approach in my company, my employees would think I am sleazy and they would mutiny. I wouldn't and couldn't do it. And I don't think my standards are too high.

I await your response,

Curtis Mildner

You know its kind of funny how so many people feel the need to complain when they don't get the service they expect to get. Yet, when the service is exemplary and customer service reps go above and beyond, those calls and experiences go unrecognized. Many people feel the need to not tell others how GREAT the experience was as opposed to how TERRIBLE.

Having experience working in a call center, I know what its like to have upset customers call in. I want to say that as many times as I've needed help from apple, I've had both good and bad experiences. Its expected. Overall, apple is a great company and I never end up disappointed. I recommend apple to all of my friends and family and currently own a Macbook, Ipad, Ipod Touch, Classic Ipod, and several Nanos and shuffles. I am about to make another purchase of a Macbook Air. Keep up the great work, apple. You have found a lifelong customer.
