Took twelve days to get replacement phone, no explanation and a run-around
Twelve days ago I went to the independent sprint store where I purchased my phone to report a speaker that had become defective. They filed a claim that day. For the last six days I have called the Sprint store daily; they had no idea why Assurion was taking so long. I called Sprint custormer service, and they said it was the dealer's problem. I called Assurian today to complain and the person hung up on me. I was insistent but I was not rude. After I have paid them $20 per month on each of five instruments for several years, I expected better service!SoCalWoman.... March 23rd, 2013
Prompt Replacement Of Equipment
I called Asurion when I lost my Galaxy II Phone. The representative was friendly and assured me a replacement would be shipped overnight once the deductible was paid, which, although a bit pricey for a deductible, I paid.Just as the Rep stated, I received a replacement within 48 hours. Of course, I already knew Asurion rarely sends out a new phone, the refurbished Galaxy II I received worked, and still works, fine. Although again, to pay that much for a deductible should have been enough to provide me with a new phone. Overall, Asurion provided a convenient way to get a replacement when needed.
