VERY UPSET
I have been a loyal customer to Banana Republic and the Gap for years and years. I chose to never get one of their credit cards simply because I like to have few of them and I keep a tight reign on my finances. Finally a couple of months ago I was in Banana Republic making a large purchase so I decided to get a card to save a little. The first time I used it I paid it off in full within twelve days. The second time I paid it in full within sixteen days. I made a mistake though. Some time before I had made the second payment I forgot I had already prescheduled it with Banana Republic. Yesterday Banana Republic pulled an additional payment out of my bank account. My balance due was 0 because I had already made a payment but because I made the mistake of forgetting that I prescheduled it the full amount came out again. This overdrew my bank account. Both my bank account and Banana Republic's status were still "Pending" but Banana Republic would not stop the removal of the money from my bank account. Now I have a $509.84 credit on my Banana Republic account. They say they cannot write me a check without proof of funds ... but they have overdrawn my account. WTF!!! Its Christmas. I don't have any desire to get all of my presents at Banana Republic or Gap. I just want my money back NOW - RIGHT NOW.

Overpriced
I have never been impressed by this store. It is overpriced and all of the clothes I have seen from BR are drab and boring looking. Maybe it is just not my style, but I really do not like the merchandise offered by this company.

Love hate relationship
I love Them because there clothes are awesome but I hate them because they are to expensive.

OK Store
The biggest drawback to Banana Republic is how expensive there clothes are. They are extremely over priced. Sometimes you will be able to find something on clearance or sale, but not very often. Their stores are always extremely clean and presentable, and the customer service is average.

Great local store
My local store is great. I shop there pretty often and the customer service is always superb. The store is clean, and their clothes are good quality.

Expensive and not so unique.
BR provides clothes, and sure they will cover you body, but I don't think they are anything that really makes them stand out from the crowd. They are also pretty pricey.
