Online refill service works well. Data sucks.

Other services may work than data services. Data and balance sucks as fast as the speed is. They have quick online refill service and data empty service is also very quick you will be empty of your data volume very soon and empty of money if continue using this service.

ZTE SPEED 4,5" HD DISPLAY

I am one of the few people in the world who never really cared about having the next best cell phone,ig screens,android type meaning if it was "jelly bean 4.4" none of that matter to me,due to never being on media,taking pics,so camera MP didn't matter, brand of the phone didn't matter. Until I fell in love with my chromecast. My children and I all had different type of cell phones. Being a single mother I never had a valuable, nice working phone. Sad, because my 15yr old has a Galaxy4.i had a HTC desire which really wasn't compatible for the chromecast. My son Galaxy was a perfect match for the streaming stick chromcast due to the Android type, as well as casting the screen to the T.V. no buffering, no pause, I finally knew what to look for in a phone to keep my chromcast working perfect I was shocked to see the price of the ZTE SPEED ON SALE FOR ONLY 39.99! REGULAR PRICE WAS 99.99 AND I Aready knew the name of the phone it self was a very good working phone. My Niece and auntie have the huge screen ZTE thru boostmobile and they love they phone so did I but I couldn't afford 200/300d phone at all. I bought the mini ZTE and I think out of all the phones I ever bought, my experience and opinion this phone is my favorite so far. My chromcast and the ZTE works awesome together. Take beautiful pictures,now ,I really want the big screen ZTE. THIS IS MY OPINION, I AM NOT INTO CELL PHONES. I WILL SAY ON MY BEHALF I RECOMMEND THIS PHONE TO PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD THE BEST CELL PHONE, LIKE MYSELF DUE TO MY CHILDREN NEEDS COMES FIRST. SO I HAVE TO GET WHATEVER I CAN AFFORD. Long time boost customer now very frustrated

I have been with boost for going on six years always buy a new phone every six months and I got another new phone 4 months ago got my husband one and my two oldest daughters one each and ever since I got these phones our service is incredibly bad I call boost they tell there is no outage in my one day I call back the next day they tell there was an outage but it has been fixed they trouble shoot our phones and refresh everything and the phones still do not work in our area my service gets worse every day I can not even make a call from my area not even to boost mobile now when I leave my area my phone works perfectly so if you live in the campus area of columbus ohio dont waste your money on boost mobile or Sprint it will not work properly

Boost service in my area is bad. My wife has it and she is always dropping calls. I drives me nuts to be in the middle of a conversation with her and then have her loose signal. I'm changing her to somthing else.

I'm pretty happy with my Boost

I have the Kyocera Hydro. I've been with Boost since before it was Boost. And like all cell phone companies yes I drive into a dead spot where my call is lost or dropped. But I've never really had problems with the company or my phone. I drop my phone more than it drops me and the thing only has a couple scratches. And I don't have a case for it. I've recommended Boost to friends and they're happy. If I call customer service and want a person I never have trouble getting one. I can't always understand them but they are in another country. I'm keeping Boost!!

Boost has taken a big drop the past 60 days! Undependable & frustrating!

My wife & I have 2 Samsung "Rush" phones on Boost service the past 7 or 8 months. From the beginning, had some dropped calls and incoming calls that never rang phones. In October problems got worse with 2 to 4 dropped calls a day. Most recently, past 3 weeks, we have repeated dropped calls & missed calls. Today had to recall my wife's number 5 times in a row - finally just texted & gave up! What's going on. Our previous service with Sprint was getting bad, but nothing like this. We're headed out next week to try to find a phone service we can depend on - Boost has become very undependable. Seems Boost doesn't use all the Sprint towers, or gets a very low priority. We live in & use our phones in the Minnepolis area of 2.1 million people... how can you not have decent network service here??! I hate shopping for cell phone service, but its time to find something that works. Missed a call today from our mortgage company on our refinance, and a couple more on a car I have for sale. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE! FRUSTRATING!

Absolutely Pitiful!

I have used boost mobile for over three years and overall I used to be very satisfied. My service had been out for three days when I first called customer service. My new payment was due on the day that I called and after asking for a manager they gave me service for 2 days. The problem is that I still have no service. They told me that if I paid the bill they would give me credit for any time that I may miss. No way! Be aware that blackberry is up for sale today. BM is finished. Don't pay anything, please!

The boost Mobile phone are nice looking but the service is a crappy. I have the Samsung galaxy s-lll is all fancy when I go to Silver Spring MD I don't have service in some areas is pretty bad cause in case of emergency I won't be able to make a call at all. I have call customer service five times and all five times everyone has something different to say. When I bought it at Best buy they would tell you that it is the best phone as and it would work anywhere. Well that's a lie. Seller please be honest with customers. It is very frustrated wen the phone doesn't do everything they toll you to do. I don't care about features to much I care more about good network having a good conversation without interruption that is what I care the most.

Lemon phone, poorest customer service I have ever encountered

Phone has been lemon from day one. Can't answer calls cometimes. Pulls up apps on screen I did not select by itself. Charger port defective. Goes dead in about 20 sec. with a full charge. Turns off by itself with full charge indicated. Other issues. Tried to resolve this, told to call Samsung. Would take 14 days. This just after a 4 day local outage. Customer service won't replace this phone, w hich is still under warranty. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE.

They think they can force you into staying with their service

I asked them to give me my account number and the idiot asked why i needed it. He transferred me to a different idiot who was rude and apparently just spouted off random numbers. When I tried to transfer service to another carrier they said that Boost gave me the wrong account number. Morons. I had to give them 1 star but if there were 0 stars or negative stars thats what they would get from me.

Boost does not fix tower problems

God help you if you have Boost Mobile service and have some tower problem. It seems like they have people in call centers that will keep you busy making you think that they are doing something, issuing ticket numbers and saying that they are dispatching technicians. It's all bull. I believe they replace equipment on some schedule like yearly and in the meantime they never fix anything.

Service stinks!

Unless you live in more urban areas (which most of my state is not), the service will suck and pretty much be nonexistent. I've struggled to get in contact with Corporate to discuss their service problems, but they are incredibly hard to get ahold of. The money you pay is about worth the amount of call-time you get based on the crappy service. A little money for a little service. Save your money and go with a mobile service with larger coverage!

my review of boost mobile as of 12-08-12

Service interuption for weeks at a time. I have the ZTE warp sequence and out of the two months iv'e had it, i have had a total of 5 days with actual internet service, 1). no wi-fi (thats out too) 2). talk (people can't hear me) 3). text (people will recieve a text from me 3 days after i sent it, same with recieving others texts, i get it 3 days late)4). customer service from the place i pay my bill is decent; but calling customer care sucks! *no human answers*, and the pre-recorded message acts like you've never hear of "turn it off and remove the battery", or "reboot" before. and 5). when you buy a new phone, even if you keep the old number and port it to the new phone.....your bill shoots back up to $55. (in other words:you get to pay as if you were a new customer for keeping an old crap phone) because buying a new phone removes your money saving discount even if you've been with them for years. I never go online because i don't have a computer of my own, and I can't use internet on my phone because....................................................................... Because they don't have 3g or 4g networks. all the phone carriers are lying to us. check it out online, AT&T, sprint, verizon, t-mobile....all of them are the same, no 3g or 4g network..it was all a lie to get us to buy expensive phones, then told it is defective to make us buy new ones, and because people complained too much about the cost of service going up $10 extra per month for smartphones (metroPCS may be garbage, but their network never has problems), so now we are stuck with this hassle. the best thing you can do is buy a 2g phone where there are no problems. Besides boost runs off a 2g network anyways and the new phones can't run on a 2g network because they are made for 4g which does not exist yet for the 99%.

Horrible customer service, Deceptive Shrinkage Feature Absurd Network Outage

I've been a boost mobile customer since 2007. Until last month, I hadn't had any problems. It was when I noticed that they did not honor their "shrinkage plan" after the 6 ontime payments that problems begin. I had a beyond difficult time getting through to "customer care" stayed on hold for 30 min then transferred from person to person for an hour only to be lied to about a $45 "credit" I supposedly could expect for their mistake. By the next morning, that $45 credit was non existent. I was told that "we don't give credit for back shinkage issues." I moved on deciding it was not worth the head ache of being on eternal hold and arguing with people trained to play mind games. My payment dates keep being moved up by a day each month. Lastly, I've been w/o service for two days with no answers as to when I can expect restoration. The unacceptable explanation was network outage and a suggestion to go to another area of town since the service would probably work there. Needless to say, I'm switching carriers. It's sad that Boost cares nothing about customer retention nor service and obviously don't mind pooring money into new sales luring new customers into their horrible "unlimited" nightmare. I strongly encourage a google review of the next carrier/service before getting a contract or prepaid plan.

You get what you pay for

First of all I would like to remind ya'll that it's a prepaid service, so like my title says it "you get what you pay for" you cheap ignorant people. Stop complaing about customer service, imagine you having to take calls all day at least 60-80 calls and have to hear people complain all day, so by you getting mad won't help one bit, it's ya'll that have no service not the customer care reps, they don't even use boost. Also for those who say they don't speak good english, the call centers are in different countries (Mexico, DR, Edsa) you know why bc labor there is cheaper. It's ridicoulous how alot of broke ass people call for credit daily, seriously are ya'll that broke that ya'll can't even put 2dlls on your account and not to be racist the number 1 credit abusers are black people, come on sell some food stamps and pay your bill. It's funny how they call in requesting credit saying they have a buisness to run, if you had a buisness you would have $$$ cheap broke people. Then customers call in complaing that they haven't have service for a month or two, if I didn't have service for a week I would've left AT&T but they have amazing service and I can speak with a rep right away so I can't complain. And for those complaing about the price of the phones, I paid more for my phone and it was with a contract, like I said you get what you pay for. Boost reps do their best, it's just the people that complain too much.

26 days and NO SERVICE still COUNTING

No service now for 26 days and I get the run around. Boost tells me there is NO outages and I should be getting GREAT service because where I live at. I have so many ticket #s that I lose track of them. I have e-mailed them so many times that my fingers are sore. Get NO where by calling them either. I would be GONE by now. They say they have a no refund. But yet I have NO SERVICE and I have 240.00 sitting in my account. They took 45.00 out for another month of service when I HAVEN'T had service for almost a MONTH. BEWARE any new customers

Boost outage and NO explanation

I have had NO network for over 3 days, and after numerous calls to Boost, they are NOT able to tell me when I will have service again! Again the same BS information with the "tower." One stupid tech says one thing, and another says something different! SO ANNOYED I COULD SPIT! This is my business line and now I'm screwed. Bunch of liers

I'm so disappointed with the services of Boost mobile. Around first week of June 2012 I had service outage and I called customer service. They said they are upgrading to 4G network so there is a service outage. They asked me to call next day then they said there is something wrong in my phone, after diagnostics they did not find anything wrong. Then they said it is a tower failure in my area. They asked me to call next day it will all be fixed. Since then I called so many times and they are saying different stories at different time. Then I suspended my account and called after one month. They said everything will be file one I pay for this month. Then I assumed they are right and I paid I saw in internet the service is active but phone does not work. Then I called again they said they are working on the towers as we speak. They asked me to call again next day. They lie so much its impossible to explain.

Very dissatisfied.

I previously had verizon and was tired of their ridiculous prices and fees, so I switched to sprint and lived it. I heard sprint owned boost mobile and boost mobile was the same sprint service, just pre paid so I switched to boost in march of this year. It seemed ok, I bought a not so great phone so in may I purchased a nearly 300 dollar lg marquee phone. I loved the phone until one day I while on "boost zone" I updated the profile and my phone completely went out of service. I had no bars of service there was an x there. So for the entire day from 9am til 6pm I was literally on the phone trying to resolve this issue. This was the first time contacting boost mobile and WOW . It literally took over 45 minutes to speak to someone who I couldn't understand after going through a massive automated menu that repeats the same crap over and over again no matter what buttons you press. To make a long story short they told me I'm screwed out of a 300 dollar brand new phone and all they can do is tell me to mail it to lg and they will charge me 100 dollars to repair the issue and that I will have to wait 3 weeks to get it back plus also pay for insured shiiping. That was verrrry unacceptable. Luckily I was able to return my phone from where I purchased it for a full refund thank God. So next I activated my original phone I had , which they tried to charge me an additional 10 dollars to "reactivate" it. Lameeee and since last night I have absolutely no service on it at all no bars , it goes from no bars to an x . And after spending 3 hours trying to contact boost again I get the run around with a bunch of foreigners whom can't speak english that tell me a whole bunch of crap how there's an outage in the area and it won't be fixed for 3 days another told me the outage only affects callss and will be on at midnight its 5 am still no bars and no service. I can't make calls text or use the web on my phone at all. I am very very unhappy. Also which I don't understand is my old blackberry which I had with sprint has full reception and all the bars. So if boost mobile is "the same great sprint service" like they state it is why does my old sprint phone have service but my boost phone doesn't? To make a long story short I have 2 boost phones one for myself and another for a friend the phones are arbage and I'm paying with the tax almost 120 a month. I checked into erizon and I can get 2 iphone 4s's for 40 a month each and on a shared 60 a month plan which wil come to only 140 a month and my friend and I will have awesome top of the line iphones with the worlds best verizon serive for only 20 a month more than what I am currently paying now. I regret not doing this in the first place. So that's my story I feel bad for all of boost customers for the ones who have ybeen blessed to not have a problem yet, you will eventually see what we are talking about. And if you are thinking about boost, stay with your current company. Trust me its not with the time or headache

Boost has been pretty god to me.

If you don't want to have a bill coming to you every month choose Boostmobile. I have had it for so long I really don't remember when we first got them. I have not had any issues with it. I also still have the same phone when we first started with them. Tells yo uhow old phone is. lol! I would like to say that if you have teens this is great for them if they need to be grounded form take the phone and don't put any money onit. Wish they had family plans though.

Words cannot describe how horrific Boost customer service is!

My phone service has been suspended twice...not from me not posting my payment on time, but for the incompetents in Tech Service for failing to maintain their system! Payments that I posted DAYS ahead of my payment date were deducted the day after due date, making them appear as Late in the system...of course directly impacting the so-called "shrinkage" benefit. The language barrier between me and English-challenged customer service is frustrating beyond words! I tried to purchase something through their online store twice and THAT didn't even go through because of some funky error message. I called the Sales department to order items over the phone and they weren't able to process the order either because their own system wouldn't allow them access to the items I wanted. No explanation or solution was offered, only "sorry for the inconvenience".

Boost has got to be the absolute worst service out here. I thought Cricket was bad but..... These people got my money and miraculously I have no phone service. Customer service was not able to give me any time frame of when to expect their "knowledgable" Tech group to have their phone service up and running. I know I will lose money, but of course I am switching providers IMMEDIATELY.....TODAY!

STAY AWAY FROM BOOST!!!!! You WILL live to regret it if you deal with these clowns!!!!!!

Boost is fading out the "Walkie Talkie" features that they currently have. Actually all carriers are suppose to be doing this according to Boost. So those that have the Motorola I1 or non CDMA which I got in October 2011 are going to have to change phones if the rep was correct. Their customer service is HORRIBLE, and that is if you can actually get in touch with someone and then hope they understand English. If you are thinking about becoming a boost mobile customer, THINK ABOUT IT A LONG TIME.

Samsung Galaxy Prevail

Love the phone but has serious problems with the battery. Have went back twice to store and had phone exchanged once. Phone is now Hot to touch with no service. Have to go back to store with battery complaint yet again. Return phone since it now does not function.

Boost Mobile has the best service.

The main advantage of using Boost mobile is its service, network and of course, the cost. I had heard some negative feedback but using the service, they were totally wrong. In my areas, it worked superb, its network coverage and the voice quality both were good.Cost was also the main factor for its selection.

The latest outage is nuts

I have been a Boost customer for over a year and have usually liked their service.....until I was told today that the cell outage in my area (north suburbs of Boston) that has been sporadic for almost a month is estimated to last for 3 more days....terribly inconvenient and I was only offered a measly $10 credit! This may force me back to the horrible world of cell contracts!

I have been a customer of Boost Mobile for several years now, and I have yet to have a complaint on my service. There are very few 'dead' spots, and they have always been easy to work with. Their website is very easy to navigate as well.

More than incompetant!

Horrible service. Taking your money is the only thing they do well. Over charged my credit card, still no service. You cannot get a live person who can fix any problem. They lie to you and say they are transfering only to send you an endless cycle of pushing numbers to then be hung up on. Also, the phones offered are pure junk, rejects from real phone companies.

I purchased a new phone (the mirror) with a new account at Boost Mobile on March 16th. 3 days later, I noticed my son looking at the phone with a strange expression on his face. I asked what was the problem and he said his phone screen was not showing the complete screen. We called the store they told me to call the insurance, which we had purchased when we purchased on the phone. We called the claims dept and was told that we didn't have insurance. Long story short, we went all over the world and no one could help us. They finally realized the phone was still under warranty and sent an email with all kinds of instructions to send the phone off for 3 weeks to have it repaired. At that point, I became very angry. I'm at the point, I can't take no more. I refuse to send the phone in for repair when we should be able to get a new phone with a deductible paid. At this time, I'm in the process of filling out paperwork to file a small claim against the company. My son wanted this service, I guess because all of his friends have it and it is cheaper. Previously his phone was with ATT and I'm going back there. I might spend 30 more a month, but hte piece of mind is priceless. At this point, I can go back without a penalty. Good luck to all of the Boost Mobile lovers. But, this company and the service SUCKS!! I'm going to proceed with my small claim I don't care how much it will cost.

The most incompetent service provider on Earth. The service reps are nice because they know they work for the most incompetent rip off corporation and there is nothing they can do to fix things. There should be some regulation or oversight by a commission or the federal government. It's not only monentary theft but criminal.
