I recently bought my dream car...2005 pt cruiser, love this car, except for one common problem. Constant over heating, I have contacted many websites which view this as a continuous problem. Is this something chrusler is fixing or is this a constant $2000.00 dealership repair? My dream car is now crap!!

I'm interested in converting my 2005 300 2.7 to 3.5 is this possible. The
2.7 has to many problems and it cost to much to repair and their warrant are not worth spending $3500.00 for a new block

Chrysler is the worst! Will never by another Jeep . My wheels totally corroded after 61000 miles. They told Me sorry, out of warranty. So I have a grand Cherokee I paid 40000 for with wheels I have to spend 500.00 on to make it look nice again. What a joke! The dealership Krebs in Gibsonia, Pa. and Chrysler wanted nothing to do with me. So Jeep's can go over 200000 miles. I guess I drive it now looking like crap!

I had 2008 town and country total lemon of a car traded fo 2014 town and country that was suppose to be a lot better , IN 3 YEARS I had it I know all service guys by 1st names in 2 dealer ships service department.Will never buy another chrysler in my life.

2007 Jeep Liberty Limited - Job performed replaced water pump but left a mess in the engine compartment.
Charge: $ 589.32 - too expensive checked around got quotes for $ 330.00 to 400.00.
Will never go back!

On my 5 th ram truck, I was mislead on the purchase of my last one a 2016 by not being a V-8 . truck has V-6 & very under powered to carry load or pull trailer as I was told after the fact. Does not even do good through mountains by constantly down shifting. Very unhappy customer !

I have a 2010 dodge grand car a van with 38000 miles. I just had to put in a rebuilt transmission for $3000. The dealership want $6000 plus labor to install. I feel the transmission is substandard to need replacement at that mileage. Never buy from Dodge again !

I Have Purchased Five Chrysler Vehicles In The Last Few Years But The Last One Is A 2014 Jeep Cherokee With A 4 Cylinder Engen And That New 9 Speed Transmission. I Have Had This Car For 10 Months And Out Of Time It Has Been Back At The Dealership At Lease 6 Times For Problems Like Hesitation , Not Shifting Correctly And Recalles. Also This Jeep Has A 4 Cylinder In It And I Have A Dodge Ram With A 6 Cylinder That Gets Just As Good Mileage Or Better Then This Jeep. I Have Not Been Very Happy With This Vehicle And I Would Not Recommend It To Anyone I Have Tried To Trade This Vehicle In But The Resale On It Is Very Very Bad So Again I Would Not Recommend It At All I Think That Chrysler Has Done A Very Poor Job On This One .

My 2014 Ram 1500 ecodiesel has broken down and was towed three times before my first payment and now twice before my second payment. I have not been offered a loaner car. by any of the dealerships that it was towed too. The dealership that is it at now has had it for three days and has told me they had to order a starter. I have heard "Chrysler Ram is sorry" from their customer service people until I am sick. After the third time it broke down I agreed to buy another Ram from them if they would take this lemon back, they would not. The truck, with 5,000 miles) broke down twice while pulling a boat from Minneapolis to Kentucky late at night on a very cold dark highway. I had to pay out of my pocket for the towing of my pontoon to the dealership and my hotel costs. I have missed three days of work and out of pocket expenses of $996.00. I bought the truck to make money for my business it has only cost me and Chrysler Ram can only say they are sorry.

I had an accident in my 2008 Chrysler 300. My airbags opened. Faulty airbags. Called customer service and got a very nice rep who said she would send to correct person and I would hear from someone within 2days. 8 days later I got a call from an investigator who said they would tow my car to the dealership and check it and tow back to my house same day. 24 hours after the tow I had to call investigator to ask where my car was. He said at my house. What an insult. Did he actually think I could not see that my car was not at my house. Several hours later car returned. Airbags still in same position as when car was picked up. I have pictures. When questioned about this I was told all they had to do was read the computer chip thus started my calls to Chrysler. I was shifted to the resolution department who said they didn't have my case but someone would call me in two days. What a joke. To this day one month later I have never received a call. Then I was told when I called again that I had been sent a letter and someone would call in 2days. No call. Then a week later I got the letter saying no metal in my airbags with a number to call. Now that is the biggest joke of all. You get a recording that says no one is available to take your call then you are directed to a voicemail to leave a message that is full. If they had actually checked my airbags they would have felt the metal pieces that busted my rearview mirror, melted a hole in my blouse and knocked my passenger's molar loose (thank God it wasn't her eye). I have pictures of all. Now I have my own investigator. I manage a hotel and if I had your customer service attitude I wouldn't have a job 10 minutes and if one of my employees held a guest with such disregard they would not be there 5 minutes. I have been lied to and just pushed aside. I will not stop. I will put this all over the internet and I will tell anyone that will listen. The really sad part is that this was my dream car. Now I just get sick when someone says Chrysler all because of the lies and the way this was handled. I am not an idiot. I can feel metal. I can see my melted blouse and my passengers tooth out and the cracked rearview mirror. Please do NOT insult me further with an emailed apology

Power Train Warranty

I purchased a Jeep Rubicon in 09 with a Life Time Power Train Warranty. In 10 the rear locker went out. It was replaced by my dealer, no problem. Now a front Ujoint is out. They now will not honor the warranty. Reason: say it has been Offroad! Unbelievable stupid!!
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!

My 2010 Ram 2500 diesel had a major transmission failure at 67000 miles. We had it repaired by a non-Dodge repair shop because we were on the road and broke down. This shop did a major rebuild and got us back on the road the same day. The truck is still under the powertrain warranty, but Dodge will not take any responsibility because it was not done by a Dodge dealer. This is my 4th Ram diesel, but next time I am going to shop Toyota.

I decided to help out the American economy by buya Dodge Durango 2012. At just over 40,000 miles both fuel pumps failed. The service guy proceeded to tell me that 40,000 miles is a lot of miles on a Dodge sir! I'm sorry sir but that's not covered by warranty that'll be $2100. I leased this poor excuse for an SUV for three years. It is a top-of-the-line citadel. I have it in the shop again now for failure to start pushbutton start not working remote start not working. Chose a new dealership this time hoping to get better service they had me Rent-A-Car and then lied to me and didn't tell me they were two days behind even looking at my truck. I am hoping to limp to the end of my 36 month lease and get rid of this steaming pile. I will be so happy to go back to BMW where I get service appointments there on time, no major repairs, and actual resale value. By the way my backup camera is failing as well fat chance of me bringing that up during the lease turn in. Stay as far away from Dodge as possible. First and last Dodge never again!

2006 DodgeCharger RT/RWD Hemi 5.7L stalls out and cuts off when I fill the tank up.
I've had 12 cars over the years and never had this kind of problem...I never thought filling my tank up would cause my car to cut off and stall in traffic 76K miles..
Help please...Dealer said they would replace the gas tanks 1,800 dollars..
Why isn't there a recall on this? I will never buy another dodge product..

I have a brand new 2013 Dodge Journey RT (less than 90 days old) and was told by Gary Mathews Dodge, Clarksville TN, that this vehicle was made for the sunroof to leak. What kind of company are you? I can't drive down the interstate in the rain without being splashed. Really, so I can't drive my new Dodge when it rains.

I was traveling down the highway with my two children in the car. I slowed at an intersection and the vehicle abruptly pulled to the right. I almost lost control of the vehicle and ended up in the ditch, but I was able to stop in time. I proceeded to have the vehicle towed home and was told by a mechanic that the subframe of my vehicle had rusted through. This is a major concern with the safety of my family and others that I could have gotten into an accident with. I feel that Chrysler should be responsible for the repairs of my vehicle, other then the subframe I needed to have my car last more then 10 years.

I just purchased on May 30, 2013, a 2014 Grand Cherokee Jeep Summit. The problems are as follows: Wheel Panels are coming off..Dealer stated that there are no parts available to fix them. I have taken the Jeep back to the dealer for service 4 time, because they can not correct the problem with excessive vibration/shimmy in the steering wheel and can not repair my wheel panels. Vibration/shimmy usually occurs at speeds from 60-75 MPH and when i hit a bump in the road. I feel that there are some minor damages to the front end system. They have balanced tires, changed out the two front tires and other maintenance that i am not familiar with, and the problem still exist. Request advise to correct problem! This is my number 6 jeep that I have owned. However I am really disappointed with this Grand Cherokee Summit, a 54,000 dollar jeep shouldn't have these problems.

bought a pt cruiser, limited edition, car sucks, cam light keeps coming on, even when replaced the cheap sticker they put on the hatch looks like wood has peeled up, I had a chysler concord before, but this car sucks, I will never ever buy another car from chysler

Just bought a 2013 town and country. Was most discouraging to read these comments as thought maybe they would fix problem asap as it is a safety matter. Lift gate and sliding door injuries have been reported. Door will not stop without hard push back and lift gate lowering cannot be stopped as it lowers toward bottom. Turning off power does not stop liftgate function.

Dealer sales was unwilling to let me trade for even a demo and service apparently thinks there is no way to fix this. Apparently the dealer may trade later at a substantial loss of at least $5,000 for me. This on a brand new van with less than 200 miles on it. There was a recall last year on the liftgate and there are other reported injuries on the door and liftgate.

NHSTA requires reporting a safety defect .

Ohio, Lemon Law authorizes payment of attys fees.

Preferably the dealer or Chrysler will accept return without penalty to me.

After 10 000 miles, REAR brakes on my Caravan are shot.
They werec replaced, discs and pads under warranty. Seems the clips are swelling from rust and prevents the pads from retracting.
But they charged me $80.00 for "greasing" up the front clips.
There is an extended warranty for the front brakes though. I'm good for another 3 months. A Chrysler product in my futur? No, never again. I don't have time to waste with thieves.

Sturdy-ish

These cars are ok. They are built as a luxury line of chevrolet, so naturally look a little nicer and tend to hold up better. However, they are a far cry from higher end luxury lines like Lexus.

Bought a 2011 SRT 8 Challenger 396 Inaugrial edition #147, have had it in the shop 4 times within the first month of ownership, Allen Samuels, Port Arthur, Tx Service Department put excessive mileage on the vehicle, the mechanic didn't cover seat so have grease stains on white leather seats, a dent in the front bumper and can't fix the constant engine light problem. Chrysler customer service was contacted and they had one of their customer retention team associates that has talked to me 4 times and hasn't resolved anything. The second dealership I took the car to for service told me that the chrysler engineers said to tell me they were working on a resolution to fix the computer and new green O2 sensors. No one from Chrysler has contacted me as of yet to explain what the hell I'm waiting for or how long till it will be resolved. Now I have an Inaugral Lemon Muscle car.
