I have been a Comcast customer since 20014-

I Constantly Am Having To Call Support For One Issue Or Another Presently Since The (supposedly) Internet Speed Increase On Oct 19th-i Cant Log Into A Recuse Private Page And I Have Run Every Scan Virus/malware/and Also Microsoft Tech Fully Examined My Computer And All The Issues I Am Experiencing Originates From Xfinity........ I Have 2 Trouble Tickets On File And Still No Help.......

Comcast just ruined the X1 experience by adding an unremovable ad for buying a movie to the "last watched" option that comes up when you press the "last" button. WE HATE IT! If the X1 services were free, then fine - force us to look at stupid ads! But, since we pay a high price for Comcast X1 services we should NOT BE FORCED TO LOOK AT ANY ADS! Does Comcast think we are too stupid to find the menu for movies we can buy from them?! Or do they just disrespect their customers, and don't care if they annoy and insult us!!!!

Comcast customer service xfinity

Comcast customer service does not exist! Comcast should change the option to Lack of customer service. Third call third time disconnected after holding for 17 minutes plus.

On comcast no hop!!!.

They do't know how to help the community any where they service comcast same zipcode only service but the do't give u service it they rap u they do't really help community plz do't use comcast service get it quest or campanys i do't like comcast they are ass holds.When you charge $200 plus a month for your triple play and, yes my bill is late a lot but I do pay it, and I pay it with the income I receive from social security disability in the amount of approximately $600 per month. I do everything in my power to pay my bill because I enjoy watching television that is more than just 6 or 7 channels that does not even include CBS which is a regular free network channel that I am watching through a digital box and an antenna. Don't get me wrong I am grateful for the digital box because I can see something.

Now I talked to Mario at the corporate after being insulted, a number of times, by customer service representatives only to be insulted by Mario. I have explained my situation to this young man and a number of representatives with them showing me no compassion and being told there is nothing that CORPORATE can do to help me out so I thought, maybe, contacting the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can then maybe someone at the corporate office could do something to help me out. You maybe wondering what is my situation as well as why should Comcast help me out as well as so many other customers who are having issues due to financial hardships in this economy. My situation is in late June i was in a horrific car accident and to help my body heal and stay alive I was put into a medically induced coma. After two and a half months of being in the hospital I was released on September 13, 2014 and came home to my Comcast service disconnected due to non-payment as well as payments that were made using my checking account that had no money in it. The returned checks and their fees jacked my bill up to approximately $1500 thats including $150 deposit to get my service back on. Now I was in a coma so there is no way that I made those payments so how much assistance have I received from Comcast? NONE, thats how much. Not only that but I paid $700 on Monday, September 22, 2014 and it is conveniently not in their system. REALLY COMCAST!!!!!!!!! I keep going back to Comcast because Directv and AT&T are just as bad and if I don't have to talk to anyone at Comcast then everything is fine. Oh did I mention that I came back to Comcast when I moved in October of 2011 and my phone and internet have not worked properly since i came back and my modem has been switched out at least 7 times. Why do I keep coming back? Because I'm an idiot!! Comcast, is there anything you can do for me now?..... or do I still have to pay $1500 to a corporation who is a monopoly and worth over $100 billion. I'm sure $1500 is not going to bankrupt you!!!!!!!!!!

Today is September 23 2014. I am so tottally disgusted with this company i can not tell u today what i have been put throygh with these people!! I tied, i really did! I wrote all of it down here, typed in their little code before i could hot the submitt button, i got disconnected!!! OMG!! Awful! Terrible! Worst ever!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

After six calls over a two week period Comcast was unable to even connect it's own cable to the utility pole on the street beside my house. Each time I called I was told a technician would arrive either in 2 or 3 business days or the next 24 hours. After two weeks or excuses and waiting, I chose another provider.

why is it a paying customer CAN NOT reach or get ANY customer service? COMCAST is a rip off. Take our $$$ and don't get customer service! what a joke. Time for everyone to wake up and quit being led around like sheep and get DIRECT cable service, who do talk to their customers as well as mant others!

I am tired of paying 200 a month for NOTHING! My car payment is less! Sneaky rate hikes, horrible customer service, if you try to downgrade service, they dont even seem to care anymore! Its funny how what once cost a fortune, such as premium channels, and dvr are now VERY cheap, but the BASIC service is REDICULOUS! I was told by a NASTY operator, that THIS IS COMCASTS NEW STRATEGY, no freebies, no discounts, no NOTHING. TRIPLE PLAY and for SOME reason, they want EVERYONE to have a housephone, is the ONLY promotion for existing customers! DAMN SICK OF BEING ROBBED!

The never ending greed of Comcast/Xfinity

Here we go again. Comcast is moving more channels to premium packages. We need to get out government involved to put a stop to this near monopoly and the fleecing of a Americans. Comcasts' profit margins are outragious and controls are desperately needed on this greedy corporation. Call your representives and ask them to put a stop to this screwing of the American public.

Loved this service!

My parents have Comcast and they always have great service. The channels are great, the quality is awesome, and the service is never interrupted. The DVR storage capacity is also large, which is a major plus. MUCH prefer Comcast over other providers!

Great service but...

Comcast has amazing picture quality for its cable and blazing fast internet speeds but there is one problem. The customer service reps are TERRIBLE and they just want to mooch your money.

MOVED FROM ONE APT.TO ANOTHER IN SAME COMPLEX.CALLED 5 DAYS BEFORE

MOVED OUT AND IN ON OCT.13 PAID BILL ON OCT.2 THEY SAID APT.ALREADY CABLE AND INTERNET READY NOT!! AFTER MANY CALLS AND MANY PEOPLE PROBLEM WAS FINALLY SOLVED.AFTER THE RUN AROUND I THOUGHT TO CHECK ON THE BILL,I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE GIVEN A CREDIT ON MY NEXT BILL ,I GOT ANOTHER BILL FOR 76.92 PAID THAT SO NOW MY TOTAL FOR OCT.194.00!
TODAY NOV.9 GOT ANOTHER BILL FOR 139!!
I SPENT 1.5 HOUR ON PHONE TRYING TO SOLVE PROBLEM AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR SUPERVISOR TO CALL BACK.THE PERSON I WAS TALKING TO WAS VERY RUDE AND DID NOT HAVE A CLUE ! IF THEY DO NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM FAST AND I MEAN FAST I WILL FIND SOMEBODY ELSE FOR SERVICE ! Comcast is the worst!

Something as simple as an email problem has taken 4 days, conversations with at least 6 customer services rep's, at least 9 hours of my personal time with calling and trying to get the issues resolved, and STILL no resolution to the problem. They ARE still working on the issue. Even if you ask for a supervisor, which sounds like they are about 20 years old with no damn IT knowledge whatsoever, be wary because they are usually busy and will call you back...but they'll call your house after 8:30 or 9:00 pm to tell you nothing more than the customer service rep's tell you! There is no where to make a complaint but when it comes time to pay my bill, I bet they will trying to resolve their damn issue of non-payment!

Evil Empire

"Basic cable" is what you used to get free when you plugged in your tv. Expanded basic adds a few public service, evangelical, and shopping channels. And I'm still angry that Comcast booted MSNBC far away from Fox & CNN, putting it out of reach of many viewers--looks like corporate censorship to me. They're determined to sell you their phone service, which almost no one wants, in order to charge you about $100/a month, which--especially in this economy--is obscene. Regulation, anyone? Or at least protests?

Service

Poor customer service- I've been dealing with customer service for over 4 months to get my service fixed and it is still under repair. I've had a cable in my yard for over a month and is yet to be placed under ground. Cable has been in my yard since March 12th. Is there anyone at Comcast that can resolve this problem?

never again

comcast recently raised my bill for no reason. i have the minimum tv package and the internet. my bill went up $40 a month and the only thing they had to say was they hadnt been charging me right. what the heck? verizon fios is so much better and my switch will be made within the next month. i am done with these liars and urge you to think twice before you sign with them

Comcast: Double Talking Cheaters

Definition of Comcast aka XFinity: 1. Any company that lies to customers, promises anything and everything to customers, and denies ever making statements to customers after they agree to become a customer; 2. Comcast (verb) -- to lie, cheat, and steal; 3. Any company that uses a web of chat lines, installers, and phone numbers to confuse customers aka declaration of war on their own customers; 4. Comcast (adjective) e.g. PC Comcast meaning you got screwed!

I know why the U.S. is in decay. It is because the all out war on consumers by A.H. companies like Comcast aka that XXX rated XFinity. My story could go on and on about Comcast. Lies and garbage. And, I documented everything they said and still they said I was wrong and no records of these promises are on file! Beware of Comcast ... bad news.

Abysmal service

On occasion I have had to contact Customer Service for many organizations. Occasionally, the first rep I speak with is able to resolve the issue. More often than not I need to escalate before a suitable resolution occurs. In some instances I need to escalate to the executive level. However, until today, I felt that as a consumer, if I were determined, a satisfactory answer would be forthcoming.

Comcast is the exception. Their approach is opaque and shirks all responsibility. I have been billed 4 years for services that I cancelled and could not receive.

One can attempt to reach the executive level, but they are shielded by a response team that deflects calls to regional offices. In this instance I attempted to contact Neil Smit's executive assistant--Betsy Wilkinson at the corporate headquarters number 215.286.1700. I spoke to a member of the "team" named Justin who provided no value add--referring me to the regional office.

No customer service

I have been on hold 4 times to reach customer service starting off at 330 and it is now 5. Each time a billing person put me on hold to fix a billing question, go figure. Now they are experiencing technical difficulties. I also called 4 times yesterday and didn't even talk to a person. The phone just hung up on their side and they experienced more technical difficulties.

A completely disorganized company that is contemptuous of its customers.

The company provides unreliable cable and Internet Access services. It makes billing mistakes and has one of the slowest telephone customer response systems I have dealt with.

Installion/Billing

It has taken 4 service calls to have my internet, TV and phone working so advertised. Now I receive bill for $370 dollars for the first month! Oh did I say that I already had basic service. I won't recommend Comcast to anyone based this. If things do go I am going back to the phone company and cable.

Good customer service

I have heard people complain about comcast but I have never had anything but good experiences with them. They were nothing but helpful when we moved addresses and had to switch our internet over. The internet speed is beyond compare and even if it is a little on the expensive side it is worth it to get your movies, tv shows and games at the right speed.

Comcast is great, I had to call because my modem burned out and the process to get a new one was quick and simple. The service is outstanding. Sometimes the router signal needs refreshing but thats normal. Most any issue is rare and easy to correct w/out calling and when you do have to call, the experience is pleasent and polite. I will always use comcast because its so easy

Comcast is great!!! I personally understand that issues come up with electronics and this will never be avoided. But Comcast tech support gives me piece of mind that if the problem if beyond me, that I can always count on their proffesionalism to get my issue resolved. It is true that some like to nag and complain when sometin doesent work right. In all honesty, its usually user error and not the service it self...Way to go Comcast!!

Comcast service sucks!!!! To get there internet working each day you have to reset the modem. When you call to talk to there customer services department the people that work there seem like they don't care if they lose your service or not. They care about is charging a fee for canceling there service so they can get paid.

A monopoly on bad service

After 32 service calls to my home, the multiple problems I'm having still are not fixed. Every 3-6 months the rates go up for some aspect of my service. I have no choice but Comcast in my area. Customer service is nothing but two words in the dictionary to them. My solution: TiVo, Netflix and Hulu.

I have caleed at all hours of the day and even taken the bill home to try at night and still not lick getting through. I'vbe tried 800#, 866#, direct numbers# and IF I get through they put me back in the FREAKING support loop again !!!!!

We have been comcast customers for a long time, we hated the customer service, they were rude, so we switched to satelite service and soon found out they were not any better. We had to choose the lesser of these two evils and switched back to comcast. I have been pleasantly surprised with the customer service, they make decent payment arrangements, they are polite. Its as if they are a completely different company. If you have been concerned about where to go give them a try again....And no I am not a emloyee of comcast just a use to be frustrated comcast customer.

THE SERVICE SUCKS. I have yet to be able to watch a tv program all the way through to the end without the screen going blank,by the time it comes back on you have missed so much of the program its not worth watching. my internet and phone was not working for over four hours,I called customer service on my cell and did not get to talk to a human but the computer voice gave me an estimated time it would be back on.I pay one hundred forty dollars a month for Xfinity, NOT VERY GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY I PAY. I know if I called and said I want to cancel, they would not care about one person. I am going to look at who else I can get service from. this is very sad.

I purchased a cable modem from Best Buy after leasing one from Comcast for 2 years.

Comcast is making me produce the receipt because they are claiming that the modem I purchased is their leased property.

Also, in the three times I have moved, there has always been a complication with the activation of the modem and this time was no different.
