customer service

departed 1/25 for round trip to las vegas. on way to airport got call from continental flight could be delayed as much as 3 hours, then call saying flight change in houston could be delayed also..was delayed apprx 2 hours in new orleans which is starting point, when arrived in houston agent said connection could gone, but gave us gate #. we rushed to gate see flight had boarded, gate personnel said we were too late. she called to plane we were told too late, 3 minutes later plane calls agent, says they would try to let us on, by this time 4 additional passengers arrived making total of 6. after chaotic back and forth they let us on, oh i forgot 6 people 5 seats. everyone had seats assignments and boarding passes. 4 people boarded last couple not allowed, didn't realize till later they gave our seats to stand by passengers. original seats not available cause stand by had them. arrive in vegas 3 hrs late 1:30 am. 1/30 return flight arrive at airport 1 hour prior to departure, by time we get to bags checked in they tell us its 44 minutes prior and have check in inside. go inside told to go to last 2 windows, proceed wait, then told go to next window, proceed wait no customers , no acknowledgement, ask for help go to counter. trainee try's to stumble through computer, then tells us too late to board, have to catch next flight . while this is going on I notice many elderly people come to counter looking for help, the a different agent in a loud voice and pointing to people telling them he can't help them they have to go to kiosk. very rude unprofessional, guy must hate his job, never seen this before. find out the reason they let us board is the gave our seats to stand by passengers.

I would like for MEACHELL FLETCHER TO BE RECOGNIZED -----SHE DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON DEC.23 AT YOUR HOUSTON,TX FACILITY.
I MISSED MY FLIGHT I AM AN OLDER LADY TRAVELING BY MYSELF I WAS TOLD THAT I PROBABLY WOULD NOT GET A FLIGHT OUT UNTIL THE 26TH. SHE DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO FIND A FLIGHT FOR ME. SHE MANAGED TO FIND A FLIGHT ON THE 24TH. I CAN'T THANK HER ENOUGH. PLEASE RECOGNIZE HER FOR HELPING ME GET TO MY DESTINATION--CABO,MEX.

I'v been retired for three years. Continental IS my only choice
great experience!

my husband and I have traveled quite a bit in the past three years, but even before that, for our one or two vacations a year, we have always been loyal to continental. We use our points for upgrade our seats,the staff, from check in to arrival are the very best! I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

The Worst Airline

Booked for 7 hours travle time but took more than 15 hours because of the delay. They don't care about the 8 hours delay and don't provide any accomodation. Missed all the important meetings. Don't use Continental.

Reasonable Airline

Continental provides the same service as other airlines, no better no worse.

Wow; after so many phone calls today.

I finially got a call back from an Ava..

She took care of it.. So, no worries on my end.. I have to say she was so kind.

It was worth all the calls.

Spoke to Sam or Samantha on April 1, 2011 at 3:30

I told her that I faxed over a letter from my mother’s Dr., and the other from me.

I stressed to her that I wanted the 300.00 waved. Continental works backwards. They want the customer to pay $300.00 for fines, due to a change of date. That is not acceptable to pay the fine, and reimburse a few weeks later.

My parents have limited resources in regards to money, since they are on disability.

Sam is currently speaking to her supervisor, about waving the fees. Sam explained to me about the waver fee it’s not on the system. I explained to her that its two different departments.

I filed a complaint on the 29 of March, but that was verbal. I wanted to speak to someone in the Customer Care service, because there the ones whom received the fax.

I am currently on hold.

Ms. Nicholas said the policy is you pay $300 for the fines and you’ll get it in return in 2 weeks.

This is appalling and not acceptable!

I got a hold of Nancy in the cargo accounting department, and she transferred me back to customer care. No one can contact the accounting department for Passengers flight accounting department.

Not for nothing, but paying $300.00 up front to than get it back in two week, these it cancel each other out. Why not wave it in the beginning.

After reading the report abuse, I just had a bad feeling about this.

Worst airline in the universe.They have the Worst customer service office who couldn't speak proper English and conversed in super strong accent. Ignorant flight ticket officer who were mean and rude and impatient when customer asked for changing of ticket. Being over charged for more than 3k for domestic flight which was first confirmed to be 600 USD. Filed a complaint but was ignored. I have decided to dispute the credit card charge. The airline couldn't even provide the accurate ticket price and said it was not in record anymore. I was put on line for 2 and a half hour just to get the 'right' person to talk with, who obviously did not know a thing about the problem. Seriously my worst experience ever. I hate this airline and will never fly with them anymore, ever.

made my reservation early. asked for window seat. that never happen. when ii got to vegas my laptop was missing from my checked bag. they said too bad! 25.00 to check the bag so they can steal my laptop. no help, just sorry you lose!

My carry on was plane side checked and then they sent it to baggage claim where I found it absolutely destroyed and torn apart. They had to be ridiculously careless while handling my bag to do that much damage. Absolutely unacceptable.

we booked in February for a June vacation and it got changed. they had no ill feelings at all. Now, just happened to check again and NOW they changed it again without telling me!!! Now, we will miss our connecting flight by over 3 hours. I checked other flights as another option and they have cancelled all Memorial day and the day after flights now. We are screwed!
