We are a large food company. Federal Government has passed Food Safty Act that requires all foodstuff(Ingredients and Packaging) to be delivered in secured trailers and/or vans. Last seven deliveries from DHL. Their drivers have show up at our plant trying to make delivery in unsecured(No locks/seals) vans. We finally had to drop them as an approved delivery carrier for our food items at all of our US manufacturing plants. There is no excuse for major carrier to continue to violate Federal Law on making unsecured deliveries of food items.

I buy items from overseas and I always use DHL they get items from Hong Kong to my door in two days they are by far the fastest shippers they don’t let items sit in there warehouse they go from the plain to the delivery truck love to use them I wish I had the option to use them when I order stuff on line in the country.

Poor DHL service in Ushuaia
Sent many postcards from Ushuaia in Southern Argentina. Paid $4 DHL courier stamp on each and over three weeks later none have reached the recipients. Cards are posted in a special yellow DHL box but certainly no courier service - no service of any type. The regular post would have delivered before this. Steer clear of DHL service from Ushuaia.

I just ordered a part from china. It was shipped from Hong Kong on 2-15-13. I have it in my hands on 2-18-13 at 1:00 pm. I think DHL service is the best.

The worst shipping company ever!!! I ordered a product from Amazon which is not available in South Africa. The parcel arrived in South Africa on 12 January 2013. Since then they have been messing me around saying i must pay them extra and import duties which i paid Amazon in advance for. So now they want me to pay 2 times for the same thing!! How pathetic to say the least. I paid for DHL express, do they know what that means? This is not the first time i have had problems with them, on a previous shipment they stole
items out of my parcel.

DHL, Brand lost its name
It was some years back when we all knew if I am sending this via DHL it will be received by the receiver even before the time stated. But its not like that anymore, in my area it is not even asked for. It has been so much time I haven't seen any from them.

I'm utterly disappointed with their service attitude. They don't care as long as they receive payments for their lousy service.

I have a package of test equipment that I needed to send to Shanghai from Singapore. It is Saturday and I must get the equipment to Shanghai by Thursday. I contacted DHL, they came and picked up the package and then informed me that even with expidited service it would be Thursday before it even arrived into China. I am not sure what snail planes they are using but from Singapore to Shanghai should not take so long. I called Federal Express and not only could they get they get the package there by Tuesday noon, they were also very helpfull and understanding. Why would anyone choose to use DHL when their customer service is terriable and their shipping service is second rate? Oh, by the way, DHL'c cost was 20% higher than Fed-X as well as slower. I recommend everyone switch to a courier that can deliver. Go Fed-X.

i have a document that i sent in manila for my brother that was very urgent because that document is invitation letter coming from korea and i sent it thru DHL last week but until now they didint recieved yet the document.so i was very upset to my husband why this DHL ? coz of not good service and very late until now they didint recieved any document yet coming here.so i dont think if this service is good ....very disappointed to DHL..I dont want dhl again for sending urgent documents...
