Not Macy's
Dillard's is a pretty good store, but their selection of clothes seems to be a cheap, "wannabe" version of the clothes at Macy's. I shop here occasionally when I am with family members that love the store, and I am rarely impressed. They have cute clothes if you look long and hard, but mostly everything they sell seems cheap and out of style.

Nice Store
Dillards is a pretty great store. I have bought from them several times, including Prom dresses, jewelry, and apparel. Their customer service is excellent, and I have never had trouble with them. They are a little expensive, but it's worth it.

Overated
This store aspires to be like one of the bigger chains, but they really fall short. The service just is not as good, and the stores have not always been very tidy in my experience.

Dillard's
I like the clothes but absolutely HATE shopping at Dillard's. The employees work on commission so they relentlessly follow you around the store so they can try to get you to check out at their cash register.

I will not shop at Dillards again. I received the run around from them today and that is the last straw. I was shopping on-line trying to find a swimsuit I liked so I could go to the store and try it on before I purchase it. With all the suits they have there is not ONE made in the USA. I called 5 different numbers trying to reach their corporate office to find out why and the last phone call was customer service rep was rude, cut me off while I was talking and wasn't even the corporate office I asked for! Never again, their customer service skill are deplorable. Take some lessons from Nordstroms.
