Bad company to much control! Power hungry

Terrible joke their Auto refill.! You wait a minimum 2 weeks, after your last dose taken. When you call to ask why, they blame physician office!! Also requiring new RX from physician every 6 months for this Auto refill misnomer! My Dr always writes RX for 12 months, so why does the Auto require new and delay refill for this requirement every 6 months!!!!
NEVER had this problem before.
There is nothing "AUTO" about this stupid mandatory program and they are always ready with the " ok to get 7days at reg pharmacy IF you get new RX from dr for that pharmacy!! No cost but deducted from the "Auto" delayed mail order. AWFUL company.

they are providing off brand generic meds that are ineffective. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of an asthma attack only to find out your inhaler isn't working. I found that 2 out of 3 of them failed. I have to pay the big bucks for a name brand to make sure it doesn't happen again.not cool. When they say that can't get a med, and I have no problem getting it somewhere else, I have to wonder why I can get it and they can't.

Express Scripts wouldn't cover a medication for a prostate cancer surgey I needed last year. After my surgery the doctor prescribed Cialis, 1 per day. I guess this was too much for Express Scripts as they reduced it to 15 for 3 months. And this year they denied a high blood pressure medication that was prescribed by my doctor. Talk about keeping your blood pressure down. Must be one of their new wellness programs. I wonder if they want to deny us medication so we can die, and they can save a dime.

Can't get anything right. Don't send drugs when ordered. Don't update scripts when sent. Total POS

Filling a prescription

I just found information that Express Scripts recently merged with its largest competitor, which explains its poor service. When there is no competition, there is apparently also no incentive to recognize the customer. Express Scripts has a clumsy and slow process for dispensing medicines. They waited days before notifying me via email that they could not read something the doctor had documented on the prescription, promised me that they would "expedite" my prescription because of the delay, and I went ahead and ordered some refills during the same call, which was over five days ago. I received the prescriptions that were no expedited yesterday, and received lots of excuses as to why I have not received the prescription that was more urgent.

Right now, my account is showing three (generic)medications as "out of stock" until October. I've never had this problem before. What gives?

VERY DISSATISFIED

I have been trying to straighten out a problem with them since June of 2011 with many phone calls, emails and FAX's. It was then that I discovered the Express Scripts Pharmacy had charged me for drugs I did not order. The company decided to place me on Automatic Refills and send me drugs without informing me. When I found the charge, I immediately told the company I did not want or need the drugs. My doctor had taken me off one of them and I did not need the others for many months after that. The drugs are still sitting on the shelf unopened. Since I did not make the order, I disputed the charge with Mastercard and apparently they agreed I did not owe it since they've not rebilled it. But I still haven't gotten any direct correspondence from Express Scripts, just bills. USE YOUR LOCAL DRUGSTORE!

very very poor

Nobody knows whats going on. Express Scripts does not commutate with the customer. Had to call the Express Scripts office four times in order to find out why my mailed in script was not filled. Express Scripts let me run out of medication and never let me know that my script was not filled, all it takes is a phone call. Most people who work there do not know which end is up. All they do is sit in front of a computer all day and do not have all the answers when you need them. The whole system is dealing with the patient's health. Patients should be notified if a script is not being filled.
I am going back to using my local pharmacy; they will let you know if a script can not be filled
The money that is saved with Express Scripts is not worth the hassle to me.
It seems that every time I mail in a script there is some kind of a problem.
In one case a script got lost in the mail and I went around in circles trying to find out what the problem was. Had to wait third days for a credit to my account.
Good luck to all who expect to get there medication on time from this mail order system.

Signed,
A very dissatisfied customer

Worse company to deal with!!!

Wow, and here I thought I was the only one who's being treated poorly. ES is the worse company I have ever dealt with in the 56 years I've been on this earth. The customer service is a joke, and is there to appease it's pissed off customers with lies and misinformation. We've been using them for over 5 years, and every time I need my narcotic meds refilled it's a nightmare. They always lose the first prescription my doctors office mails, so after 2 weeks I call and ask my DR to re-mail another script. He does, but is also mad they lost the first script. It's a 5-8 week ordeal.

I've NEVER had a problem filling it at my local pharmacy. When I need it, I go to my doctor, get the script, go to Walmart and get it filled. No 5-8 week wait and no excuses or lies.

I've emailed, phoned and nothing seems to get better. I've even sent so many negative messages to them from their site that now I have a "Special Team" that takes care of my problems. What a joke, these people are the "Bad Cops" side of express. They are RUDE, and talk to you like your a 2 year old. They tell you there's nothing they can do. One even said to me, "you have no choice, but to use us, so you better calm down or we'll suspend your service" WHAT!?!?!?!?! That sent me over the top and the stuff that was coming out of my mouth even surprised me. Good thing I already hung up the phone, lol.

It's never ES fault, that's what they want you to believe. Tell me, how many peoples scripts can one company lose? They are in the business of filling prescriptions, right? So who's getting my doctors scripts when Express says they never got it? And they lose just about every first scripts my DR sends in. Oh, this is only on Schedule II drugs, the other meds can be faxed in, only narcotic meds needs to be mailed. Maybe instead of a PO box, they need a real address so nothing gets lost or drops out of the bag when someone picks the mail up.

I F#%KING HATE EXPRESS SCRIPTS WITH A PASSION!!!!!! And would NEVER, EVER recommend them to ANYONE!!!!

Worse that Worst

A month later, no prescriptions but lots of excuses. In the meantime, my insurance was billed, so I have been forced to pay for more locally out-of pocket.

Express Scripts Is Terrible

Express Scripts Seems to make profits for themselves and problems for the customer. It is always a problem for us to get the correct meds in a timely and affordable way. When we went to a local pharmacy, we never had these problems. I wish my employer would have never switched to this company. I hate Exprss Scripts.

This is a positive comment this time - unusual for us.
Appreciate they used UPS instead of USPS for our most recent shipment; plus placed the order in a cardboard box instead of one of those plastic mailer sacks.
Those sacks get stuffed in a street-side mailbox - crush any packaged meds inside and make the reorder paper work vertially USELESS!

In January my wife presented a prescription to EP. This was the first purchase through the new insurance company. My wife has had EP as the provider for the past three insurance companies. When she presented she asked if they needed to update information and she was told no, that everything would transfer over. Unfortunately they skipped a year and reverted to the payment method provided in 2009. This was not the payment method used as late as December 2010. So long story short EP charged an $1100 purchase to the wrong card. Our bank called us and told us this was happening. So we got on the phone and explained that this would overdraft our account (including the mortgage I had just paid). They aid they could reverse it but that never happened and my checking account was charged $266 in OD fees. All becasue this company does not know what it is doing. EP assured me that they would compensate me for these OD charges. It is now March 29th and knowone will call me back. The comments say that they are processing and waiting for approval. Meanwhile my account is minus that money for almost two months. Beware in these days of new insurance providers EP does not purge the files and they have all these account numbers still in their files to use at their discretion.

My problem with them is not as bad as some other stories on here but figure I would comment so people know how unprofessional they are. They make you call every year to confirm if you want to get your meds at a retail pharmacy or home delivery (I did home delivery a few years back but they charged me more for home delivery than at retail so I stopped after 1 order). They convince me to try home delivery again. The person on the phone was very nice. The price was about the same as the pharmacy but I get 3 months instead of 1 month.

Just got my order a few days ago and they gave me a generic version (I was taking Kavria which is already a generic version). It's birth control and most women know that even a slight change in birth control can wreck havic on your body. I was upset that they didn't inform me that they were changing it or else I would not have wanted to get 3 months worth. I would have gotten 1 month to see how my body reacts to it.

Called them up and they said that my doctor did write Kavria on the prescription but since she didn't write that it must be Kariva then they can change it and since it's the same drug they didn't need to inform me that they changed it and there was nothing I can do. Granted I'm only out $10 and hopefully this drug won't give me any side effects but the fact that they don't tell you they're giving you another drug is completely unprofessional. If my company have another choice I would switch but all I can do is cancel home delivery and go back to the pharmacy.

Horrible company. They have backed out of promises that have been made over and over again. Why can't I get my prescription filled where I want to? They are making a killing off of me, I'm never sick, and only take one relatively cheap medication and I pay the same as everyone else. How can they have the audacity or the legal ability to tell me that I can no longer use the pharmacy I have been using for years, all while under the Express Script insurance?
