Worked for about 1 year
I bought my dehumidifier through Sears. I believe it was made by Frigidaire. It worked fine for about 1 year and then the panel on the top broke down. The on/off button worked intermittently and the same with the buttons that controlled the amount of humidity. Now it is stuck on CO. and will not move to any other setting. I paid close to $400 for this unit and am extremely disappointed with its durability.

To whom it may concern:
Our Frigidaire model #FGHS2631PF4A, is the worst refrigerator we have ever owned! We have owned it less than a year and have had constant problems with the ice dispenser. We already have had a service call and replaced the ice storage bin.
You obviously have very poor quality control!

I have a model PLEB27T9FCC Frigidaire double oven. The upper oven is overheating. I have replaced the temperature probe and it still has the same problem. The lower oven is fine. I've replaced the control(display board. Now, when I set the temp at 350, the digital display shows 288 and the temp rises to over 475.
Can you please tell me what would still be causing the issue and what is still causing it and what do I do next.

The window AC units (28000btu )are a problem. , I install those as part of my job, and every other one I buy is broken. Not kidding , 1/2 are broke. So you guys at fridgidaur quality control need to address this problem. Ive also had issues with the 25000 btu as well, but the 28000 btu model is a dice roll. Not easy putting them in them in and taking them out and returning to Walmart either. The people in 100 degree heat aren't happy about it either.

Don't buy this brand. I have been in my house for 3 years and I am on my 2nd fridge and my 2nd microwave just stopped working. Of course the warranty expired and now I am looking at having to purchase or repair it. So unless you want to replace an appliance yearly stay away. These are by no means cheap appliances and but are crap...

STAY AWAY from Frigidaire appliances. I bought the Gallery Range, 4th repair to replace controlpanel[lemon law]. Its junk, trying to get my money back. They have no repairmen in our area[Northern NJ], told me to call one in PA, they were furious Frigidaire is giving out their name. One hour drive to our house, said no way. Frigidaire has 3 Class action law suits against them---Refrigerator, microwave, dryer---Time to be run out of business for selling junk. Their customer service is even worse.

Hi, just wanted you to know that I have a very very very old and ugly Frigidaire, It has been painted and the handles have been replaced with dowls. but I just want you to know that it is still working after all these years. I bought a coffee maker 10/2013 (expensive ~$80). By 6/2014 it stopped brewing.
Customer service was very good, replaced coffee maker 7/3/2014. Sunday morning with out if town guests waiting for coffee, the coffee maker just did not brew. Clearly, quality control is not a strong point in this "made in China" product. They're all made in China, why spend all this money if the product is a throw away.
I will NEVER buy a Fridgedair product again.

Frigidaire top load washer w/ no agitator.
We've had it two weeks and it omits a strong odor that makes me want to hurl. Smells like something hot or rubbing or burning?? Had repairman out and motor was replaced but it still smells bad. I don't know how much longer I can stand the odor. We paid almost $1,000 for it. I'm going to have to leave the house when I use it, it's that bad.Anonymous-126502.... December 11th, 2013
So I am passed off!! I can't believe this. I have a frigidaire gallery series stove which is about 8years old which I paid a lot of money for. It's convection black smooth top gorgeous stove. Well it is short lived...the fan started making noise so my husband took the back off the stove expecting to find something loose in the back, we'll to my surprise the back is all rusted I mean rusted with wholes in the actual steel. I have never used water in it because it's self cleaning. I am devastated this should never happen, and i bake alot and now I can't even afford to get a new stove. I was unable to bake for a long time while I was recovering from organ transplant surgery and my husband got me the stove as a gift. I am devastated. This should not happen!!! It's only 8years old!!!

I purchased a side by side refrigerator made by frigidaire in May 2011, since that time every bin and crisper in the refrigerator has broke because they are of such poor quality!! Spoke with a customer service rep. And was advised the cost to replace just the crisper drawers wouod be almost $240 and that didn't include the bins for the doors. Joi Coleman corporate manager for electrolux advised she couod discount my cost to $230 for all of the bins and criper drawers. After paying $1400 for this unit why would I pay anymore money to get more of the cheaply made replacement parts?? Expected this to last longer than 2 years for the price. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more upfront to get a better quality product from another company!!

Frigidaring to shine in the market.
Having trusted Frigidaire as the go-to brand when it comes to keeping my food fresh, I haven't had problems with their products. Haven't needed any maintenance whatsoever, which goes to show just how durable these machines are.

I bought a washer &dryer from them and need to add water in order for all the cloths to get wet! do not buy their 3.3 DOE capacity unit! Can not believe the water can not cover the cloths to be washed. I live alone and do minimum cloths but wanted a system to wash sheets or blankets = what a mistake.

glass top on new range melted in spots. Even with extended warranty it was deemed cosmetic. This is almost criminal. If the paint on a car under warranty bubbled up it's cosmetic too, but it would be under a warranty. Stay away from these Electtrolux products.

I wish I could make a sign for every Frigidaire product that says DO NOT BUY ME. I have worked for a home improvement retailer that sells Frigidaire for 7 years...and I've never had anything but problems with Frigidaire. Yes, every major appliance brand out there will send out some defective products every once in a while...but the numbers of Frigidaire compared to Whirlpool, Samsung, GE, and all other brands we carry are ridiculously high. Not only that, but even as the big retailer we are, we can't get Frigidaire to help us out, which in turn makes us look bad to our customers. Please, no one, purchase Frigidaire products. You are only in for disappointment and expenses that you wouldn't have with any other appliance brand!

We purchased a side-by-side Frigidair refrigerator 5 yrs ago, and we had to replace the water dispenor actuator twice at over $300 each time. The part is so flimsy it is a disgrace! Poor design!

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 7/11/11. In that time we have had to replace the handle 4 times. Today it has broken off AGAIN for the 4th time. I can not imagine that you have not gotten complaints about this poor quality. We are senior citizens with no children in the home and are not negligent in its use. I even reinforced it with super glue last time, thinking it would last longer. It has not. To keep replacing this involves a $35 charge, this is ridiculous. Isn't there another handle that isn't plastic junk that will last? I would appreciate some input to this problem.

fine-quality product.

Purchased Frigidaire professional series range 2007. It was in the recall for smooth top ranges but the repair didn't fix the problem. Burners don't adjust to the temperature you selected and range tries to reset it self periodialcally causing the lights in my kitchen to brown out.

We purchase a Frigidaire Refrigerator on 12-31-10 #FFHT2126LM since then the handles on the fridge part has broken and been replaced 3 times. Now we have no handle on the bottom half. I believe this a flaw on the design as the handle is not sturdy enough to open the door. Handle on bottom door should of been longer. We will no longer buy Frigidaire or any of their the products.

I bought New freezer frigidaire last year nov 9 2011, now its nov 17 2012... and the prize is $ 700, warranty only 1 year if I want fixed estimate cost about $ 300.. so my freezer is going to the garbage...I think its better for frigidaire make the garbage can too...

I bought a refrigerator and stove about 4 years ago give or take. I purchased the extended warranty I think it was for an extra year. Even before the warranty was up the stove hinges broke, they had to come out and replace the hinges. When my warranty was up the refrigerator started leaking inside, now even though it's time consuming to have to keep wiping up the water thats not the bad part. The hinges broke again on the stove and I have been cooking with the oven partially open for several years now,still not the worst part. Now my stove top wont turn on sometimes, so you have to turn on the back burner first then turn on the front burner and when you do the stove ignites in a big flame. Everytime I turn on my stove I'm afraid I'm going to be ingulfed in fire. This makes me very angry because I don't have money to replace appliances that if they were of good quality I wouldn't have to. Not only are your appliances very poorly made but they are very, very, very dangerous.

I bought a fridge made by them a little over 1 yr ago it needed repairs 4 times the last time I went a whole month living out of a cooler the the day he fixes it the same part goes out again hours after he leaves they finally deemed my fridge non fixable so they are gonna send me a check for my fridge pre tax and finance charges which after paying 2000 on this last year I still owe 1700 mostly all finance charges but I have just been told that I have to finish paying for the fridge even though it doesn't work. My pre tax n finances are 2200 so I will have 500 to buy a fridge. Oh did I mention the amount of groceries that I lost numerous times was horrible I have 5 in my family tring to live out of a cooler Oct. 5th will be almost 2 months living out of cooler waiting on this check.I will never buy another one of their products again, am I am so glad that I have knowledge to research my next fridge purchase.I didn't know that there was so many companys affiliated with fridgidaire will not purchase any of them.

I bought an electric Frigidaire range with a double oven. The large oven door exploded throwing glass about the size of large ice cream salt all over my kitchen. The oven had not been on for 18 hours when this happened.
The door did not break and fall--it EXPLODED, throwing glass. This range is dangerous.

Let's just say this will be the lesson learned no more Frigidaire products. The refrigerator seal seems to have come from the dollar tree. The magnets in the seal are so weak that every time I close the refrigerator the freezer door opens up and stays open unless I personally close it. This happens EVERY time. My granddaughter forgets to close it and if I am distracted and don't pay attention when she or the other little ones open the door our frozen consumables are thawed out. I know they had to had done quality tests and if this passed the quality test the fire the CEO's in charge of that decision. Till I see some real changes I will buy other alternatives than Frigidaire and subsidiaries. My money speaks too.

We built a house in 2010 and bought all new Frigidaire Gallery appliances and they were professionally installed by the appliance store. First, our refrigerator was on back order and we did not receive it for almost 5 months after moving in the home. Then when we did get it, the ice maker would not work. The board was replaced and then 3 months later stopped working again. The microwave caught fire and was replaced with a new model. Same thing has happened and needless to say it is no longer working. I cannot believe I paid good money for this junk. Electrolux/Frigidaire should be ashamed. Will never by from this company again.

I bought a frigidaire "the gallery collection" micro wave oven, flat surface range, dishwasher and refrigerator
in august 2011. The appliances were professionally installed by the seller.
the dishwasher door gasket leaked and had to be replace immediately. the ice maker never worked correctly and had to have the computer card/chip replaced. the flat top range door glass seal leaked and is a generic problem with these ranges especially when in cleaning cycle. The freezer compartment was missng the lower gasket from the manufacturing process and also cause needed repair.
Never will I buy anything made by frigidaire again it is the worst appliance on the market and the company as i'm finding out is fully aware of their problems and has made a decision to ignore the unsatisfied customer.
It's too late for me but do yourself a favor if youy're looking for new appliances and purchase another brand.
