Can't get people to solve your problems.
Getting some contact information to talk to these people about problems THEY caused me to have financially is just about impossible. Steer very clear of this bank and its sheer incompetence.

Disappoint in their inability to let data aggregation sites like mint.com have access to our data. If I want to review all of my accounts on one website I should be able to do so.

Initially,I borrowed @ $358.00, the same hour,realized I needed a bit more and utilized @ another $236.00 to about$584.00. In the "promo period". By the time I was 1/2 way through the payments,my interest had almost doubled,bringing my total up to @ $648.00,now more than my initial loan. This happened three times until my "loan" total(mostly interest),was over $1300.00. I took out an insurance policy on it just in case the economy took a nose dive,and it did! They would not honor my default insurance(of over a year's payments)because my total hours worked were less than 30 per week (I was at 20-24 and collecting partial unemployment).That total is now stuck in limbo as an unpaid balance and has screwed up what credit I had left,bringing me to about 570. In pricipal,I "divorced them",now,they're angry and want their allimony payment. Watch out for the interest traps.It's a scam to get more money from you,quickly. They never gave me an option,except to send me a pretty RED overdue letter. Suck my big toe! "I'm done with you"!L.P.

SCAM "Fixed Payment/No Interest Promotion"; mine was from Sleepy's, 36 mos. Bought bed using this financing; why not with 0% interest. Signed up for auto pay at purchase so all payments taken directly from our checking account and on time. The scam is that the payments are purposefully designed by GE to be insufficient to repay the loan within the promotion time. So, the promotion expired ($2,000 princ remained) and "deferred interest" (over 25% apr on the entire amount) was added to our balance (about $7,000)! It's all there in the fine print, so we are stuck. We're the suckers. Call us stupid if you like; GE is. Just hope this comment helps save others. I gave them a 10 for Product/Service Knowledge. They know exactly what they are doing. It would have made Bernie Madoff proud. Nothing I can do but continue to post this to warn others.

Rude and nasty Customer Service Representative
GE Bank has the worst Customer Service.The representative was very nasty when I made an inquiry. I have never been late for one single payment. He talked to me as if I was not worth his time. I believe every negative thing that people have said on this site, just wish I had seen it before I opened an account and gave them any of my money. I told the representative that I wanted the thank him for his rude, nasty attitude and that I will pay off my credit card account and never deal with them again. If there had been a negative star rating, that is what I would have given them.

on line payments
These are the hardest to work with of any bar none on line. We do all or most of all our payments on line and this is the only co. I have problems with I would not willingly have credit with them but they had my merchant and I did not know. Super Bad to Worst Ever!

Wow how the hell does this company stay in buiseness.....oh by avoiding their customers. They bought out my loan from citifinancial and 3 weeks later closed my account. Thank god. I will pay this off and never deal with these idiots again!! not like I had a choice this time

GE Money Bank is a horrible corporation. Plus, it turns out they don't have to pay any federal taxes as well!
I am so frustrated with this bank. I am in the process of cleaning up a mistake THEY made...and admitted to, but it was too late to fix my credit report. I filed a dispute with Equifax,but this was useless.
I am ready to take this up with the Office of Thrift Supervision.

I WOULD NEVER GO TO THESE PPL. I AM A VICTIM OF TAX RELATED IDENTITY THEFT AND THE MOTHER FUCKERS USED THIS BANK TO DEPOSIT THE MONEY. CANNOT CONTACT CUSTOMER SRVC EVEN WHEN I GOT MY HANDS ON THE ACT NUMBER BECAUSE THEY NEED A ZIP CODE.
