Awesome but SO expensive!!!

I was having trouble with my PS3 and took it in to Best Buy to have a guy from the Geek Squad look at it. $200 later, I had a fixed console, but I felt it was a little overpriced for the service that was provided. Though he was very helpful, knowledgeable, and sweet, I thought it could have been fixed elsewhere for much cheaper. I would recommend them for things that absolutely cannot be fixed by the consumer.

O.K. For some

I think they should raise the standards for hiring people on the geek squad. I asked them to install some ram, but I wasn't sure about the compatibility. They said it would be fine, but when I got home the computer wouldn't turn on. I took it back and another person told me the ram was not compatible just like I thought. However, I have had some good experiences with them. I suppose it depends on the person working there.
