Just bought a deep fryer. Literally plugged it in and it didn't work. Hamilton beach is GARBAGE, don't ever buy from them.

I had purchased a Hamilton Beach Iron Model #14505 and the water container has never closed properly, in fact it does not stay closed at all, consequently all of the water which you want to use for steaming, pressing leaks out onto all of your clothes...
It is uncalled for that you purchase a brand new iron and immediately it is unfit to be used. I read the same complaint from several other customers and you had the idea that we shoudl pay to ship it back and then pay to have something sent to us..like a part...that is ridiculous.
I can assure you that I will not be purchasing any Hamilton Beach products in my lifetime again.

The term "customer service" is a lie

I bought a simple toaster. The first time I tried to use it, it immediately released a smell of burning plastic. I stopped it and looked for pieces of packing. Seeing nothing, I tried to open the crumb tray to wipe off any dust but I couldn't open it. The only instruction was "pull here." I had already tried that but I persisted until I painfully broke a nail. The instruction manual was useless as far as opening the tray. I called but was told it would be a long wait and it was 10 minutes until the end of the caller support according to the site. I sent an email over 24 hours ago and heard nothing yet. I wasted 20 minutes at work on hold today. I can't use the toaster which makes it garbage and I bought it on Amazon who will be getting a colorful review.

My husband bought a Hamilton beach 2 in 1 brew station, used 1 time had 2 return/exchange. 2nd coffee maker the single serve quit working, & now the craft side leaks. Junk!!! Will not buy Hamilton beach products again!!

I bought a coffee maker from Hamilton and loved it the first month. Push the cup to it it was awesome now it leaks coffee and water all over. Not impressed and this was an expensive coffee maker. Well if your product lasts only a month I won't buy again

I received a Hamilton Beach food processor 30 yrs. ago for Christmas, and still using it, although I've had to hot glue some parts. Do you think it would be possible to get a discount on a NEW one, my granddaughter thinks it's time.

Dear Madam/Sirs,



I am a BrewStation. I have concerns over my owner. You see he purchased me a while ago to brew his morning coffee. At first he bragged to family and friends about how much he loved me and my ability to brew his morning coffee and not deal with a breakable carrafe. He just loved the idea of putting his coffee under my dispensing port and getting hot cup of coffee. Lately there appears to be a problem which has trouble him. It seems like every other day the float device inside my water resevoir keeps popping out and not brewing the coffee. Naturally this is very frustrating to him. Is there some sort of recall we should know about. He is not his normal happy self when this happens. I sense he is on the verge of doing something drastic. I overheard him talking about replacing me with another unit and probably one from another manufacturer. Please respond to let me know what can be done. He really does like the concept of this unit.

As a regular Hamilton Beach kitchen appliances, I wanted to let you know that one of your products is in desperate need of a recall. I purchased myself and my daughter-in-law each a HB slow cooker which has a model number ______. I bought them for a gift for me and a gift for my daughter in law. I haven't been doing all that well (I was in the hospital until Christmas Eve) so as a family we decided to postpone our gift exchange until January. My daughter in law forgot to take hers home the bl night we got together. Thank God for that small blessing. I decided to use mine to cook a Boston butt to take to my son's house. The slow cooker performed well but the rubber gadget provided for taking the pot with you, it stretches across the top and attaches to the handles was the problem. The directions said I could use it to keep the top in place or to transport. I attached the cross over rubber strap to the pot after it was turned off for 30 minutes.

My 9 yr old granddaughter had just left the kitchen and I needed to get things packed up, so as I was at my kitchen sink and all of a sudden, I heard this tremendous noise and the rubber strap had broken and went flying across my 12 ft wide kitchen and landed behind my stove. The force behind it was so tremendous that it could have burned anyone that got hit by it or at the very least put someone's eye out. I would definitely do a recall on this product immediately. I feel very blessed that none of us were hurt but I will continue to warn other's on the website if they intend to purchase this product. The top doesn't seem to fit snugly either. I am going to return the two I purchased but I pray the person who reads this email will send it to product development and immediately do a recall. You may be saving someone's life or eyes. It was that serious and the trajectory of it was unbelievable. Please take this seriously. Thank you,

We own two Hamilton Beach coffee makers (carafe less). Both brew great coffee but the unit with the side reservoir dumps at least one cup of water per brewing over the top and into the two bottom spaces below the made coffee holder. We have tried changing the grind, changing the brew cycle and nothing helps. What should be done to correct this condition.

the product cost $50.00 and we have gotten better performance from $20 coffee makers.

I got a Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer model 97G, harvest gold from Winn Dixie in Louisville, Ky
on March 12, 1979. The mixer stopped working on September 5, 2015. It is unfortunate quality products like this are no longer being made. Just wanted to thank the company for almost 36 years operating this mixer.

Just want you to know that I am still using my hand mixette that I received as a wedding gift 48 years ago....but today it seemed that it is ready to quit...got real hot and had a little smell to it....it totally breaks my heart....I have loved this mixette for so long...want to let you know they don't make products like this anymore...thank you for 48 years of great service...

I purchased a Hamilton Beach single serve blender. I still have the receipt and it is supposed to have 5 years warranty. When I go to hamilton beach site...it only lets you fill out the contact us bar with USA zip codes and states...I live in Canada.

It also wants you to say serial codes etc. but i threw the thing out. I do however have the receipt.... will you honour it? It was purchased 12/02/2013. It conked out last week. I can scan the receipt...

Last year we purchased a Hamilton Beach Microwave oven at Wal-Mart. The touch pad has already shown unreasonable ware. It is beginning to come apart. I would think that Hamilton Beach would produce a better product, one that lasts longer than a year without showing excessive ware.

I have a HB programmable slow cooker. I forgot to set the correct time and when I checked on my meal it had gone to warm. I now want it on low, but it won't go to low even after I unplugged the cooker, waited a few minutes and tried it again! What's up with that???

Gentlemen, I am the owner of three Hamilton Beach Brew Master coffee makers. One at home, one in my office store room that leaks, and one one my office breakroom counter and also leaks. I just spent 30 minutes cleaning the one in the office break room. I was successful in fixing it, I just called my wife and asked her to buy me a little cheap "Mister Coffee", it was $8.95.

I always respected the name "Hamilton Beach" but I will not be purchasing your products in the future. Your have serious engineering flaws in your coffee makers and you need to correct them. You can't draw a cup of coffee without a mess and they leak out the bottom.

If you want to coffee makers for your engineering staff to disassemble and find the problem, send me to boxes to pack them and prepaid FedEx or UPS labels and I will send them to you If I haven't received the prepaid boxes in two weeks, these coffee makers will be going in the trash.

I do not want reimbursement for the appliances, I just wanted you to know you have a problem that is going to cost you sales!

I am complaining about the Hamilton beach brew station. It sucks and does not work. I have replaced it after a short time tired of getting up and the coffee not being made or all of the coffee being made. This was such a waste of money for a senior citizen on a tight budget. I am sure you guys don't care but I do not feel better. Sure wish you would refund the money

Our coffee maker broke finally after years of use and we went and bought a Brewstation. The clock on this thing does not hold time, it goes an hour fast every 12 hours. I sent an email out to get a replacement and was told to cut the cord off of my machine and send a picture to them and I would have a new coffee maker in about 10 days. Now because they cant make a quality product, I have to go without coffee for up to 10 days.Why am I being punished for their mess up? I told them that was unacceptable.
They agrees to send me out a new machine and when I get it, I can remove the cord from the original unit and send them a picture or my warrantee would be voided. I agreed with that and waited foor more than 15 days. I called them and was told that they never even sent out my new unit because they never received the picture of the cord. I was not a happy customer at this point. I demanded they send me a new machine overnight and after this woman spoke to her boss, came back to me and told me I should get my new machine the next day.
Well after a week of not getting the new one, I was on the phone with them again. this time I was told that she told the warehouse to overnight it and she would try to reach them to find out where it is.
She finally got back to me hours later, telling me that I should have the new machine in 5 days. and sent me a tracking number.
People, DO NOT buy anything from this company, if there is a problem with the products and you have to try to get another one from them, you will go thru many hoops just to get what is rightly yours, something you have already paid them for and they already have your money.
I give the customer support team minus 5 stars for their service which was horrible at best.
I give the product at least a little credit, it does at least make coffee.
But it cant tell time and it is one of those makers that you can set at might to wake up to coffee in the morning. Kinda important for the clock to work on this one.

I have a Hamilton Beach Brew Station the one I had before this one was good but after long time use it dripped. Instead of repair I bought a New one. This one continually leaks water out below the swivel spout just above the instructions on the max, coffee. I have checked it for level (don't know what else to do) My biggest concern is the water level will get up the warmer plate and cause an elect. fire.

I purchased a hamilton Beach electric coffee pot ( Brew Station) .Tonight my wife showed me the inside of the pot.. It appeared something inside on the side & bottom of it small grandulares were there , & float after H2O is entered. She wants to unplug this unit & not use it anymore... Folks this unit was expensive for us to purchase.... I don't know anything about coffee pots , But I'd like to have my Black & Decker Back.. It finally pooped out...

I purchased a Hamilton Beach food processor last Christmas. It has been used about 4 times, and the internal mechanism inside the handle of the "food bowl" failed, resulting in the unit no longer functioning. After emailing customer no-service, they will replace the food bowl, but for $9.95 shipping. Large corporations are able to absorb shipping costs for warranty items, but HB would rather lose customers than pay shipping on their defective product!
Next time I'll pay more for a better brand (will NOT be Hamilton Beach!), and I'll certainly research before I buy!

I would like to report a death in my kitchen. After 60 years of faithful service my Hamilton Beach mixer has died. Model G, #WM 812725D. I still have the original bowls.

I am only 78 years old and I thought it would stay by my side forever. Of course, I plan to live to be 100.

Seriously, I shall miss it. It mixed many wonderful cookies, cakes, etc. for my children, grandchildren, family and friends.

This is a "Thank You" for such a great product. JK

WOW! I can't believe how many microwaves with the same serial # from hamilton beach that have died within, or well within the first year. That's incredible. But not as incredible as when I called to tell them my 8 month old micro quit, they didn't ask why, they actually told me it was the heating element before I could explain the problem- so they DO know there's a problem with them yet continue to sell them instead of recalling this specific item. From now on it is a product I will never purchase again! Straight blacklisted!shameonthem

Kudos to your company. I recently put your single serve blender and immersion blender to the ultimate test. Having had my teeth extracted I invented the world/s healthiest and most decadent (at the same time) smoothies and pureed soups. Your dandy beaters cream everything just right. Love Hamilton Beach !

Hi I have a coffee maker. It is a 12 cup with a single cup brewerin side. I have owned this for 15 months. I am extremely disappointed. The hot plate where coffee pot sits is rusty. It has overflowed several times. I am going to probably have to purchase a new coffee maker. I really thought it would last much longer. I paid $60.00 for it. I would not recommend this coffee maker. I have purchesed cheaper ones that lasted much longer than this. Thank you. Rose Malinowski

My husband and i just bought a hb espresso maker and set it up the next day to enjoy an expresso with breakfast. To our silurprise the temp light NEVER came on. We tried the buttons out to see if it was a problem with the light and the machine will steam but it wont brew. Very unhappy with it. We waited for years to be able to buy an espresso machine .annd now i think we will just stick with starbucks once a year.

about 8 months ago i bought a hamilton beach microwave for 65.00. the wiring inside the panel burned on on it. that was wasted money i couldn't afford. i feel they own me a new one. i won't buy another one that's for sure!

I was so disappointed with my recent purchase of your new single cup coffee maker(Scoop).The problem is in the brewing process.The water does not fully engulf the grinds of the coffee thus giving you a very weak cup of coffee.I went back to my Kuerig.

I'm writing to let the Hamilton Beach Compant know that I have been using the same electric hand mixer for the past 45 years. YES, I said 45 years! I received a new hand mixer for my wedding shower in 1967. It is a Model #87 and was made in the good old USA. I just finished mixing a cake and wanted to let you know that after all these years it's still working as good as new. All appliances were made better back then and not made in China. Thank you.
