My experience with HP deskjet 2130

It's the best HP product I have used so far, it prints just fine, came with the best of carriages, and was durable.

Good quality products at affordable Rates

I've been using hp for more than 4 years and I have found a great customer support with nice quality of products at cheaper rates than the competitors.

I have had an HP Pavilion Laptop and have used it daily for the past 5 years.
Never a glitch, no problems and it is still going strong. I would certainly buy another HP laptop when the time comes to replace it.

Great customer service

I am a PC/Printer technician and have had to reach out to HP for questions many times over the years. Each time I have spoken with them, they were quick to help resolve my issues.

Wow Iam amazed at these comments about HP - I have bought 4 computer systems( over the last 4 yrs )branded HP ( two towers and two laptops ) and none of them have ever given me a hiccup. I have never needed to contact support for any reason ever. Just today I ordered a new Omen Desktop System - i hope it is built as good as all my others were

A great choice for getting a new laptop.

Having replaced my wonky Dell device with my current HP one, the leap in performance is already evident. The website did a great job in fitting me with a device that exceeded my performance expectations while being cost-effective at the same time. If you're thinking of getting a new laptop, you definitely should give this maker a try.

I just bought an HP computer and I must say that the keyboard is the poorest quality of any I have ever seen. Also the Windows * has got to be the worst and most difficult to use of any I have ever seen. How did you ever permit such a piece of trash to be dumped on an unexpected public who have always relied on HP and Windows to be a top-notch company. Shame on you!!!

HP Pavilion DV4

I have used this laptop for a couple of years ago, and it's awesome. Once I had problems with it, but I took it to customer support and they fixed it. Recommended product!

HP Photosmart D110

Print quality is nice. However, changing the ink cartridges is tedious. Every time I need to change the tricolor cartridge I have to cross my fingers that nothing breaks off inside. The cartridge is difficult to put into the carriage, and feels like I need to force the cartridge in to fit properly. I have seen a couple videos on how to replace the cartridges but can't seem to find an easier method for this.
Overall: The printer itself is nice. But would not have purchased it if I would have know how hard the ink cartridges are to replace.

Crystal-clear prints guaranteed.

Having owned my HP printer for several years, I can attest to the crystal-clear print quality it offers. I have yet to be required to fix anything with it.

I barely used the computer. Only when working out of town. It got so hot, it would burn your legs practically. Then it started shutting down. Of course, it started this right after the warranty expired. My daughter has the same computer, and it does exactly the same thing. What a coincidence! I will not buy anything again with HP on it...ever! They should not be in business!

I purchased three HP laptops with Windows 7. ALL three have had major malfunctions at the year mark. Two were repaired because we purchased insurance. One was the motherboard and the other a hard drive problem. The third HP said would cost me $350 because there were signs of "a liquid residue" on the keyboard and motherboard. I am tired of HP computers with problems. Hello, Dell.

HP IS THE WORST. I had an HP printer in 2005 and it did not work after 1 week! We got a new one free of charge, (a week late) and after about a week, again, it failed to even resemble a printer’s duties!! Then I had to deal with a wireless printer for 4 years, yet it could not print wirelessly, or in any other way. So we got ANOTHER new printer. That one, I must admit, did work for 6 months and then we were in the same “comfortable” shoes of caring a 5 pound laptop out of the house to the awkward printing station and it was slow, with low quality. So I got a new CANNON printer, and it is amazing. We have had it for 6 months and not problems yet. Basically, NO HP!!!!

I have used HP prinnters and computers for a long time. I had problems with only two printers. My main issue is the lack of enough ink in their cartridges to finish printing as few as 20 pages, using the black ink cartridge for my HP4580 All in one printer. I have bought and replaced nine black ink cartridges in two months. I know how many pages are supposed to be printed per cartridge and they all have not done so. Are HP getting stingy in amount of ink in these cartridges. I have sent a letter to the Attorney Generals office to see if they will check this matter for me. I am one of nine people with same problem.

Great Battery Life on Laptops.

Especially when compared to Dell products, HP Laptops take the lead in the power conservation department.

.... August 16th, 2012

I can see why HP stock is down. In my estimation printers are horrible. Defective after 15 months? If a product can't last more than 15 months, something is wrong with manufactuing process. Their answer is buy another! MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. I will never purchase another HP product again.

HP touchsmart

I purchased two HP touchsmart pc and both went bad , beyound repairin less than2 years. Estimated at over $700.00 to repair each one. Shame on HP for selling such trash to me.I had to throw them both out because ofthe high cost to repair. They were both less than 2 years old.

Laptop screen repair

HP sent a hired repair person who had opened up replacement part and installed screen with everything apart on table for 45 minutes. Observed repair person with tools and pulling on wires? Why? This person did not check if screen came on, the computer was functioning prior to replacement part. I think the company HP is responsible for the repair in its entirety! If I wanted someone else to replace the part that should have been an option. They said I would have to pay if I send it to HP to have them fix it, what the HELL!

A nightmare.

Bought a $1600 laptop in fall of 2010. By June 2011, it was back to factory (heat sink fan). Continued problems. Now March 2012, has been back to factory 2 more times, and supposedly various parts including hard drive replaced. Still not working properly. I have spent hours and hours and hours on the phone with their tech people, no results. Escalated to Quality Department - still no results. I would never recommend to anyone to buy an HP product. For $1600 you would expect a high end product - not the case with HP.

LOCATION OF ON/OFF SWITCH ON TOP OF HARD DRIVE IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. PEOPLE COMMONLY PLACE COPY PAPER PACKAGES OR PHONE BOOKS ON THE HARD DRIVE. WHEN THE SERVER GOES OFF, THE NET WORK GOES DOWN AND RECOVERY IS TIME CONSUMMING. IT IS HARD FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC OF THE DESIGN, OR THE LACK THERE OF.

While in the Hospital(s) with pneumonia, (3 Nov 2010 - 6 Dec 2010, my sister took my money and purchased me a (much needed) 'new' HP Slimline Desktop. Unfortunately, the Keyboard has been a real disappointment. It simply doesn't work properly and hasn't from the beginning. I'm so timid when it comes to complaining....always believing I can just learn to live with the problem....that I never FORMALLY requested a replacement. I do believe, however, that with my somewhat stunted physical and mental capacity during the past 90 days or so, that I should be eligible to exchange this keyboard for another. There are other operational glitches, but (those) are difficult to explain. I mentioned most of this in a previous 'comment', but never received an acknowledgement. Please let me hear from you. As a virtual shut-in, all I have to occupy my time with is my HP, and right now the malfunctioning keyboard is making life miserable. Thank you.

They suck! I spent over 1 1/2 hours attempting to understand their "out sourcing" person in India. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Keep in mind I have 6 laptops, notebooks and laptops at home and over 30 at work. I had a small problem with the printer. I could not understand but every other word he said, I ask to speak to a supervisor to assistance with an HP Office Jet 6500. He refused to call. I hung up and called back, same person this time different name. Again, i was unable to understand him. This morning I took the printer that is 12.1 months old and a sleag hammer and busted it into as many parts as I could, I am on my way to find a differ printer, before I buy I will find were their support team is located. No wonder we have lost so many jobs in the US- MANY ARE OUT SOURCED! I am going to take the parts of the printer, box them up nice and neat, together with a receipt to my new printer and main it direct to their CEO! If they want to out source, let them take they whole operation out of the USA! I will never again purchase a product that has "out sourced" their tech department. I can not do it any more. One of the large banks just started doing this, I withdrew all my money (not a great deal) must also moved all my clients trust accounts, to a nice small back that when I call someone answers the phone and I can understand them.

I recently purchased a new monitor for my pc from HP and had problems getting sound. I contacted a tech who helped me and was really good. THEN I told her that my PC was slow, she said that I could purchase PC-tune up for a year for $99.00. I did. BUT when I got to that technicial I was told the $99.00 was a one time fix only. She proceeded to take my PC info and told me to hold on. She informed me that my computer (now 4 years old) was too old and she tried to sell me a new PC. I told her that I was not interested as I just spent $200.00 + on a new monitor. She was determined and I kept telling her no. I finally asked her to credit the $99.00 back to my charge card if she couldln't help. It took almost an hour and finally she said it had been done. A couple days later, I found out it had NOT been credited. I went through the whole thing again, on the phone for over an hour and was again told it was taken care of, but would not appear on my statement until the next billing cycle. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He refused to let me speak to a supervisor. I finally hung up. So far, I've heard nothing about the refund.

phone order management is really screwed up..it seems HP doesn't have expertise in handling phone order. waited for 2 days for sales person to take down the order but the sales staff made mistake on the order. Contacted them thru email but no response at all. Really upset on HP service...no more business with them anymore

I am just trying to find out how much memory my Pentium 4 processor can handle, cause I don't want to over load it. That and I want to see if I can do an upgrade.
I thought that maybe HP would know these answers but since I am not in warranty, I would have to pay to even find out if they know the answer. I am very dissatisfied.

I would rate HP customer support as terrible. the exterience was so unprofessional and is still not resolved even tho we are under warranty and the drive is deffective. they escalate to case manager only after a 4hr ordeal to tell me they are not in the office...knowing this form the beginning b/c they are 9-5 M-F PST...hope you get your act together for future customers but I wont be one of them EVER again.

Your technician kept me on the phone for a l o n g time, did not fix my problem, wasted my time and hers on a BUSY day!

All I wanted to know was how to listen to talk radio that I had already downloaded into my toolbar, while I was working on the computer.

She wasted my time, her time, HP's time, and made me wonder about HP's concern over their customers!

I am very dissatisfied with my hp computer. I began having problems about 4 months ago. Each time I call there is another big fee to pay. First update warrenty--then I was told it is my software (Vista) that is the problem.--this came loaded on this computer. But, I let them charge my credit card for Windows 7 upgrade and I was told when it arrived I would just need to call back and they would help me install it. When I called in for the help I was told I would need to pay another fee for that help and also that if I install this my software warranty I paid for will be void. This is a vicious circle of paying--getting nothing--paying more--getting even less. This is very wrong. I have a warranty on this computer--I have been told that the software is the problem. I don't need this windows 7 to fix a problem I have a warranty for--hp is supposed to take care of that problem. I just want to return the windows 7--I do not want to install something that will void a warranty I have already paid for. I did open the case just as I was talking to the "tech support person" I only handled it momentarily. I feel like I have been lied to and to add insult to injury--I called the returns dept. I was told they were talking to Tech support and that they would help with the installation--we were all three on the line at the same time--however, when the returns dept left tech support began to demand the extra fee again. Shame on HP...
I want the warranty backed up. Paying money for a warranty should result in more than just paying in money. I wrote down the comments when I was being asked to purchase the Windows 7, "Absolutely will fix your problem" Windows 7 will help all features of Vista and fix the issues with Vista". From all of this it sounds like HP should have provided the upgrade to fix the original problem. For you to ask for more money to after promising to help with the installation is too much.
