Humana keeps canceling my fathers policy and saying he canceled it every month.

Every single month now since Feb 1st my father has had a problem with his health insurance through Humana. Starting Feb 1st they never took their payment from him a few weeks later he finds out his health insurance has been cancelled. Why?!? Because they said he called and cancelled it which he did not so they reinstated him took his next payment said everything should be fine now March 1st same thing goes to get his medicine from the pharmacy and guess what he has no insurance so he calls Humana again they tell him the same thing again that he cancelled the insurance which again he did not. So now they reinstated him again took the payment again now April is here same thing again. Now here we are May he goes to his doctors appointment and they tell him he has no insurance. He also has to get his medicine and is told he has no insurance. My father is a heart patient and is dealing with this month after month and then when he calls Humana and complains he gets hung up on or transferred a hundred times. They tell him they will call him back in 24-48 hours and a week later they call. This is awful customer service and I don't understand how they can't fix whatever is going on. This is very stressful for him. What can he do? Get a lawyer? Can't just switch insurance companies because it's not open enrollment right now. This is rediculous!

Gross Incompetence

There is missing information on the webpage associated with my wife's account. This causes my wife to be unable to register with Rightsource for her prescriptions. Have spent at least 11 hours on the telephone - on hold, getting bounced from one representative to another (both Humana and Rightsource) being told the next person would fix it. Even had conference calls with Humana and Rightsource people. Usually ending up
being told it would be fixed in 2 or 3 days. Here it is weeks later and it still not fixed. We have paid for 3 months of prescription service we are not receiving

They are a bad insurance company. They don't cover standard medication I have been taking for years. Two other insurance carriers covered the medication. They will not cover a pain pump procedure that I was approved for and scheduled to get before my company switched insurance companies. I had to start that long process all over again. I hope you read this before you get coverage and run from Humana.

Humana Fails to Deliver

Humana has charged more than permitted under their Gold Plus plan and refuses to correct it.
On my insurance and my Wife's they are now refusing to pay us for using an out of network Doctor and we are using the very Doctor approved by Humana and on their records. Customer service says they will pay and that my Doctor is correct. Grievance Panel says they won't pay and that I used an out of network doctor. At this point I have no insurance since I can get nothing resolved and the claims have been turned over to a collection agency. The claims are apparently forwarded to foreigners in another country to handle and they are doing nothing but refusing to pay.
