Good video, bad sound
I had an oldschool JVC VHS recorder and it worked great but the sound was very difficult to capture. It always sounded muffled and you had to be close to the people you were taping to get anything audible on video. With newer JVC digital recorders, the sound is better but you still have to be close to your subject. Overall, not bad quality considering the quality of video.

I purchased a pair of gumy headphones from ASDA and they stopped working after a week. i bought a pair a few months ago and the same thing happened. i don't play music really loud or mis-use them either.

Pretty good with anything.
Their products are pretty good and cheap regardless of anyone who complains that something stopped working slightly after years of use. Keep it up.

JVC sound is not good
What it is talked about all around that it is the biggest sound system makers after bose is just crap. They don't even stand any where in the list. I brought a pair of headphones of this brand and in 3 months the sound started scratching like some one is trying to cut the cables between headphones and the music system. I bought JVC headphones less than a year ago HA RX-300. The bass stopped working yesterday.
An inferior product from an inferior company. JVC sucks.

I shipped my JVC camcorder as per the instructions contained in the link below. Customer service called a couple of weeks later and said I would have to pay $200 (more that I paid for the camcorder new). I refused and they said they would scrap the unit and not resell (sure). I only used the camcorder for ~10 hours total as it spent most of its useful life in my drawer. I'll never purchase or recommend any JVC products.
