How do I make a complaint about a part failure that I feel is premature? A cylinder head should last longer than 25 months. Of course the warranty is 24 months. :-(
How do I find out if there is a "factory recall" on this part? The dealer remarked that they have seen this problem before.

bought a john deere 3020 less then one year old and has been broke down 4 times now it will not start dead battery or not charging , I wish I would have went orange only has 19 hours on it , piece of real work

I Have Purchased 3 Deere Tractors 3 Rotary Cutters Box Blades Loaders Etc. I Will Not Purchase Any Deere In The Future Do To A Ridiculous Repair Bill On A Tractor With Less Than 600 Hrs.

I purchased the John Deere tractor about 8 years ago there's not one piece of the plastic body that is not cracked or falling off what a piece of garbage ..I never seen anything cheaper my life a milk jug is stronger than the body of that tractor I am so disappointed and I will be writing bad reviews every where I can find and complaining and down talking Jonquiere tractors for the rest of my life sick but I spent 60000 on that tractor plus the finance fees .ts the biggest hunk of crap I've ever seen in my life and I have purchased for John Deere tractors over my lifetime I should have never bought this piece of plastic crap

We have a JD 6140D that we have had for 2 years that has had problems since brand new the rep keeps telling us it's at the factory we are little tired of it you are driving it kicks into neutral
Loader does not lift to capacity and when you plug in cell phone to charge kicks into neutral and am radio won't work Pto whines

I love my john deer's they are good just know how to keep proper maintenance machine you purchase and know what you are doing as a machine operator and should be a great machine plus everything must be GREEN!!!

D140 Lawn Tractor $2000 from Home Depot burned to the ground from engine fire. John Deer will not honor warranty. Sites it may have been dirt or grass under hood. It was clean and has just 18.2 hrs on unit. Said turn it into home owners. It would be up to me to prove it was John Deere.
Service center said its not really a John Deere...Its a unit branded John Deere logos for low end market.

I purchased a L-130 and put a 180 hours on it before the transmission failed..!!! The machine will not go up hills. I have a gradual slope on my yard. I was told the machine can not tow either even though they gave me a free trailer when i purchased the unit for $$$$ 2200.00.The trany can not be serviced on these units they have to be replaced COST $2000 .ATTOURNEY NEEDED CLASS ACTION LAW SUITE..STOP THE FRAUD

We bought a new JD X320 a couple yrs ago. It is the most unreliable piece of crap I have ever owned and will not own another. As I write this note it sits in the shop.. will not start if it gets wet...tried to mow yesterday and the smoke just bellowed from underneath. the year after we bought it not even 48hrs on it. it left me sitting once again with a huge yard and nothing to mow it with..some sort of elect panel was recalled.I had a cub cadet before and will most likely but a new one when this one is finished and the way its going, it wont be long...

Bought a brand new 1026R and have not been able to use it for one full day. The mower deck has some real issues. It has been back over in the dealers store more then it has been in our garage. This morning they delivered it back to us and took their loaner back. This afternoon mowing with it the mower deck completely fell off. This brand new tractor is now sitting out in our yard again with a mower deck that will not attach to the tractor. This thing is maybe a month old and all it does is get paraded up and down our road on the back of a trailor going back and forth to the dealers shop! In my mind this is the last trip for this tractor. The people at the dealers are nice but no one knows how to fix this tractor.

We bought a LA model and have used it for 4 summers(166 hours) and we have been told the transmission is going and will cost us $1000 to replace. So much for their built to last slogan. company said it is out of warranty and that they will maybe pay for 1/2 the price of the transmission, nothing for labor....really only after 166 hours of use....very disappointed and will tell anyone thinking of buying a John Deere tractor...DONT DO IT!!!!!

I have a John Deere 2305 compact tractor.This tractor has a belley mower.AS you mow,you have to shutoff the tractor and blow off the radiator to keep it from overheating.I have had to replace the head gasket.They made the transmission housing out of cast alum.,I have replaced it ,and it has now broken again.This tractor cost around 10,000 Dollars,and is going to cost around 5,000 to fix it again.I have been buying John Deere tractors for 25 years now but will never buy another one!!!!

I recently purchased a Z655 mower by trading in a JD 425 AWS which I thought I would never part with. I like the Z but would like to make some suggestions. The throttle should be located on the right side of the machine so that trees and shrubs do not rub it and pull it back. It is very hungry for gas, needs a bigger gas tank. I have run out twice. Make the rubber mat on the floor bigger to wrap up where your toes go, or eleminate it. I like my dealer, Barkers Imp, Creston, Iowa. Dick

I bought a JD Gator 620i last May 2010. It has 160 hours on it at present and both boot covers on the drive shaft are split. I pulled the shaft out myself because the dealer said that it was not covered under warranty any longer. I am not even going to waste my time with John Deer I am going straight to the better business bureau on this one. The product that John Deer used in this machine is junk and I should be fully compensated for the time and trouble I am going through to repair this machine. Just wanted to let you Gator owners out there know that you will have this same problem so check your boots on the drive shaft or you will end up like me.
