I visited the local K-mart store today and very impressed. The garden center was neat and organized. I went inside briefly and again was very surprised how neat and organized the shelves were. Good job for whomever took over. It doesn't look junky and cluttered.
I've written several times to encourage you to spiff up the garden center. Host a huge spring sale to get buyers attention. Now I'f anyone wants plants and lives on the east side of US1 they have to drive 10 miles out Rt 60, which is jammed with traffic this time of year. Give them an option. Let folks know you have nice garden furniture and beautiful plants

online orders
i placed an order for my son on the 20th an online it stated i could pick up the order the same day. unfortunantly when i called to make sure my order was available they put me on hold for a half hour. then today i call to make sure its there considering christmas is 2 days away an they tell me it wont be in until the 29th. well now my sons Christmas is ruined due to their lack of communication.

I am furious. I purchased a pink flamingo for outside. $80 for the damn thing and its made of plaster! Who would buy something made of plaster for $80???? I should have curbed my enthusiasm over the bird and inspected it closer. I thought since it was for outside it was made of concrete so I left it outside as I do with all my concrete statuary. Stepped outside this morning to find the base is broken and the bird laying on its side in the garden. So I went online chatted was given a number to call, spoke to a woman that I couldn't understand and was given another number to call 800-479-6351 which was for a survey... Called back to the first number and talked to another guy I could barely understand, I asked to speak to his manager, I was transferred to Darrin who was not a manager. Told me there was a 30 day return policy and it was unfortunate for me that the store I purchased it at closed. There was not going to be a return or refund of my money.
That is a pity. I am now on my way to write the BBB and send the pictures and barcode label that is still attached to the bird that should have lasted my than a few months. I am so disappointed.

I bought a cabinet on 3/1/16 had it put together sometime in that month, the UPC code 022113062706,product code 0079869319. the two doors that are on hinges in the right front of the cabinet did not keep the doors in place the box the piece came in was thrown out by the time i discovered this i had no recourse but to go to the store to see if they could replace the said hardware (they could not so now i have a beautiful cabinet whose doors are not able to be open cause they fa right out. Please advise you will note on the page in the directions for the doors it states you can make several adjustments to the hinges to straighten doors im not sure what to do it appears that some screws are missing. I beieve the makesmanship is customary from Chinese furniture. I paid $199 for it and would like to know what to do to either get my money back it would need a box to return it i could bring it as is to store. please help?

I bought a recliner fromm Kmart and it is a piece of crap.The fabric is alful and when you recline it to go back it you have to put pressure on to make it stay back.when you see up it come up and hits you in the back. Never buy furniture from Kmart that was a waste of 300.00 dollars After I bought it here in Chesapeake Va the store close

I just got a $200.00 bike from Kmart... I was riding it and the Left peddle fell off.. If I was going down hill that would have been serious... But if someone pays 200 dollars for something you expect it to be in working order..

Shopping at Kmart today
I was wanting to buy a new Net10 phone & I waited in the electronics dept for 15 minutes Until I walked down to layaway . Finally found a live person who said she'd get someone right over to help me. Waited another 10 minutes & no one.Then when the layaway lady came down herself to help me I was so mad for waiting so long I said forget it I'm so tired of waiting. After I cooled down & said I was done shopping at Kmart & went back into the dept & bought my phone..No Manager was seen, You'd think he'd be the 1st to come to make sure a customer was taken care of. What a lack of concern & talk about not friendly. I was helped by the service desk lady to add my points from my purchase & the layaway lady who rang up my phone.. Just thought you should know how my experience was at the Kmart at 820 Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne IN 46805 (260)426-4546...I hope yu do something about this store.

Online layaway
I will never use your online layaway again, some items are put on layaway, some items are shipped to your home,some items are sent to the store, the site never states they are not available for layaway, they go ahead and bill your debit, worse than all of that is the customer service, you get when you call on line services, I asked for a manager, dominick answered very condeceseding,because of his lack of customer service I will never use this site againAnonymous-116353.... Kmart sells substandard products, even below walmart. I refuse to shop at these stores even as a last resort. The latest commercial by Kmart is offensive and degrading to African Americans and those who are of color. This company is racist and now they are showing it. I think Kmart will lose more customers with the kids from the hood commercial. Just another downfall in the fabric of America.

I went the Kmart @ 8501 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610, today @ 11:45 am. After spending about 15 minutes in the store I had to leave. I could not handle the filth. That has to be the dirtiest store I've ever been in. So many clothes on the floor in the men's dept. that it was hard to get around. Dirty kleenex on the floor and the whole place just has a funk to it. Will NEVER go back.

Why do you carry only WIDE WIDTH ladies basic edition leather loafers. I used to buy one or two pair a year, in MEDIUM WIDTH now after calling many KMARTS none carry MEDIUM. Your buyer is way off base and losing more sales than you are making. I shall not return to the shoe department unless changes are made.
DON'T HAVE YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND EVERYONE DOESN'T WEAR WIDE.

the store here is nice with a descent sized selection. the staff is attentive and is always eager to offer assistance. though there prices are a little more dear their year round layaway, selection and staff make it well worth it. they will continue to see me at their store in the years to come.

My wife and I live in Canada and frequent the super kmart in port huron michigan. We were at the store last sunday and were extremely dissapointed. The advertisement showed fresh boneless chicken breast on sale, however all they had were mixed packages that were frozen, the sale isles didnt have any pricing on them and we had to price scan everything. We ended up shopping at Meijers and Wal mart in port huron after spending an hour at the store

Could be doing better on the looks department.
Compared to other chain stores, K-mart is lacking in the cleanliness department. Its rewards program is one of its few advantages, making for some great sales.

i have asked for help in retrieving my membership card and pin number from my local kmart and at three phone numbers as well as the kmart web site. each asked me for my membership number. now wouldn't you think that those people employed by kmart would understand that if i was attempting to get my membership and pin number that i would not be able to give it to them.. what a bozo outfit

Kmart you guys are full of crap. You keep sending me these e-mails for TV's at 50% off, 50% off what definitely not your regular price. I think you randomly pick a number and then take 50% off that. Your Tv prices are higher now than before the X-mas sales. Well I guess now we know why your sears stores are closing poor management and untruths. I guess you'll be at the unemployment line soon as well. Good luck with that.

On-Line Ordering
I purchased a hard to find toy for my nephew. KMart was the 3rd place I tried. I not only got the best price from KMart, my order was delivered in 14 hours. I will certainly look to KMart first next time. Thank you KMart for you efficient on-line ordering and making my 4 yr olds XMas special.

LAYWAY
Prices at kmart tend to be higher than several other stores, the store is not very clean, and very outdated. i usually always have problems finding what i am looking for or it being in stock. I got tired of wasting my time going in there and not being able to get what i need or things not being in places that would make sense. the only reason i still use kmart at christmas time is because it is one of the only stores that still offer layway year round on anything except clearance items. you can also put stuff on layway right at home online and make your payments online but still pick your things up in the store without having to pay any shipping costs.dandaman1200.... Great Prices
Kmart isn't a big supermarket, but they really have the best prices anywhere. If I'm ever low on cash and needs some rockin' clothes or food Kmart is the first place I go. I've gotten most of my appliances from here, and after years they still work perfectly! I actually like that it isn't a big supermarket, because you get a more personalized service.

Ok Store, On its Way Out
Kmarts are OK stores, but are losing competition to stores like Target and Walmart, because they simple don't have as much. Also, most of the Kmart's I've been in are Trashier looking than other chains.

we think it's sad kmart used to be one of our favorire places to shop ,last uear's experience was the worst,needed assistance in garden....no one there,also a little old lady walking around going yo hoo,we also tried a little yoo-ho,noluck,we found what we needed & headed to the front register,no on the register,told to try to check out at jewelery,it was like the roach motel you'll be checking in ,but you won,t be checking out ! well tried again today,place was freezing & no to help find an alarm clock????

I am sick and tired of being disrespected in Kmart sunny isles,St.Croix. some of the mangers and supervisor are disrespectful to the customers and employees. I actually aplogize to an employee for asking the manger a question about the showcase in the electronics department with the manger speak to the employee rudely after the employee gave me great customerservice and anser all my questions.so i am begging for Head Of Kmart to pick their mangerment the right way .

I am finished with K-mart. I placed several items on lawaway at your Morton Ill. store, however before doing so I asked the lawaway person Kim if she could check to see if another store had three more of the curtains. If not I would remove the three in the items I had. She checked and two other stores supposedly had them. So I finished my transaction with her and went directly to the other store. The clerk there was very nice but the items were not there nor if the person Kim had spoke with had physically check she would have known that. The manager at the second store told me to go back and ask for an adjustment on the layaway so I wouldn't be charged the return fee. I did so and Tina at the Morton store was rude. Said it wasn't her problem. So I cancelled my layaway and went to Wal-mart and got a better item anyway. I'll be canceling the other $500 layaway at one of your other stores and will no longer buy at K-mart or Sears. You need to retrain some of your managers in customer service.

I purchased a night light that was defective and returned it to the store within 20 minutes. The returns associate acted promptly and was very friendly. I was trying to decide whether to get a refund or ask for help and Samuel approached me, heard the problem and immediately went about fixing the light. He showed me a magnifying glass he used to read battery sizes, a great tool;I bought it. I asked for the manager, Sergio, and let him know how well I was treated. Altogether, an excellent experience.
