Quite simply the WORST laptop I've ever had the displeasure of using. Oh wait...I don t often get to use it what with all the spinning balls of death, unresponsive pages, program glitches and overall snaillike speed. Horrible, just horrible. At least my employer paid for it but for anyone out there considering spending money on one of these pieces of crap, DON'T.

Bought X1 Carbon laptop 1.5 years ago - 20a7 CTO1WW . Integrated Graphics Card died couple weeks ago.Spoke with support. Have to buy 1200$ new motherboard. Amazing low quality

I purchased a Lenovo laptop on the 08/11/11 for £499.99 from PC world. I was quite happy with my purchase as I needed it for my Uni work. However soon after a month the laptop completely broke down and when I went back to PC world they identified that there was a problem with the mother board and that it had to be sent off for 4 weeks in order to be fixed. I was quite disappointed as I’ve never heard of a laptop company which takes 4 weeks to repair their laptop. But I sent it off anyways and unfairly I received it after 6 weeks.
A few months later after receiving my laptop back I started noticing problems with the laptop’s battery and was it was freezing quite a bit. So I took it back and they held it for repair for another 4 weeks. When I received my laptop back after 4 weeks finally I noticed that the problems with the battery and freezing was still occurring! At this point I was extremely disappointed and frustrated as I need my laptop for studying. When I went back to PC world I complained that I wanted to have it replaced to a new laptop. However I was told by them that in order for my Lenovo laptop to be replaced I would have to send it off for repair for more than 3 times. However I held back my frustrations and anger and sent it off for the THIRD TIME for 4 weeks to fix the problem they didn’t fix 4 months earlier! And to my surprise 4 weeks later when I received my laptop back the problems was still there!!! I just cannot understand what exactly they are doing with my laptop when I send it off for 8 weeks!!
I went back to PC world the last time to complain about my laptop and that I wanted it to be replaced to any make but Lenovo (as I did not have time to have it sent off for another 4 weeks for repair and NOT EVEN HAVE IT FIXED!). this is when I found out that Lenovo doesn’t allow laptop replacements to another make!! But I was entitled to have my laptop replaced to new Lenovo laptop within 10 working days (as it was a simple replacement). I handed it in on the 21/11/12 and its now 21/11/12, it has been exactly 4 weeks and I still have not got any update or response on my laptop. I’ve called them numerously to ask for updates, they keep saying to me that they will call me back after 24-48 hours regarding my situation, but no one ever calls me back.
The worst thing is that fair enough if the product is faulty, but in this case everytime I called for their customer servicing line the people who I spoke to were mostly very rude and disrespectful! They never tried to understand how I feel and how unfairly I was being treated with the Lenovo product.
I'M SOO angry, disappointed and frustrated I am with Lenovo product I purchased and also customer servicing!!! As a student I’ve never been so frustrated. And since I need my laptop to do my work, I have now fallen extremely behind in my work, and its all thanks to Lenovo.
I will never advice anyone to get Lenovo from the horrendous experience that I have had.

these computers are terrible dont buy them, youll probably like it the first month then everything will just stop working or malfunction DO NOT BUY THIS. save your money so you dont go through what ive been through with this computer
