No personal service

I have been trying for 3 months to get a charge off of my credit card and not renew a job posting. I can't reach anyone to talk with they make it very hard to be a LinkdIn user or want to STOP recruiting through them. Frustrating!!!

Just to ket you know for myself and on behalf of others, that the new kinkedin application is useless!
Very difficult to use and very confusing and we do not understand why you changed it! Terrible.
Cannot find snything, ie jobs etc etc etc..
Uselss and non accessible.

The norm for surviving in the business world.

Linkedin has embedded itself so firmly in the business world that having a profile there is akin to having an entirely paperless resume. No postage necessarily to connect with business contacts, and potentially gain job opportunities from professionals in the field.

Privacy

I had no intention of sharing my entire contacts list with "linkedin" but was somehow tricked, obviously, because all my contacts received requests to link with me which I did not send. I am trying to disconnect and can't reach anybody to help and can't make the instructions work. I hate this network and would shut the whole thing down if it were not for the embarrassment factor and the fear that all my contacts would get yet another unwanted message.

PISSED OFF!!

Signed into Linkedin hoping to locate an old college buddy. What I got was reports that my email address book had been entered and each person received an email to join. Now that the damage is done, I have only one choice.
My linked in account is now cancelled, closed, dead.

Customer Service is NON EXISTANT

I have been trying to get an issue on my LinkedIn account fixed for OVER A MONTH with ZERO response. I have even searched for a phone number and tried that and YOU CANNOT TALK TO A LIVE PERSON. TERRIBLE.

Linkedin loves to change content unexpectedly and for the worse without telling their customers of what is happening. For example, I had the Amazon reading list on my LinkedIn account and they decided to remove it without notifying any customer that they were doing this. They eliminated my list of book that I read or wished to read without notice. This was also a good source to see what new books people in my field were reading. Another example is the jobs search page. In the past, they recommend jobs and you had the choice to remove ones that were not relavent. For example, I am a chemist and they liked to show jobs for chemical engineers...that is not what I do. WIth the update, there is no way to remove recommended jobs and all I can see are jobs that are not relavent to what I do. Maybe they should spend more time making the algorithm for recommended job selection better.

I've been waiting a week for a response regarding a job I posted. I paid $300 for a job posting and I've received jobs from various countries other than my own. Their system is obviously flawed as I specifically state local applicants. I will be calling Visa soon to dispute the charge as I've tried to do it nicely but they will not respond.

They are pathetic in customer service

I am now 150% frustrated with Linked In. For years I depended on you. I have sent numerous request for a pass word that was lost. Each time they say it was sent, check your email. I communicate frequently with LinkedIn now I cannot reply to some very important requests. For the record you are hurting my business. Here is what happened:
I have two emails
This allows me to now get but restricts me from entering. I have a work order number below
You recognize this but have yet after 5 requests to send me my forgotten password.
Get me please back to normal.This page has taken me 2+years to build

What customer service?

It's day 8 and counting. Our company has 2 premium accounts and had built up significant inventories of InMails over time. 8 days ago they had a software glitch that emptied our InMail inventories.

They have passed our customer service emails around, have finally acknowledged that the error was theirs, but thus far have done nothing to reinstate the InMail credits we bought and paid for.

Deeply frustrating!

Doesn't live up to standard.

For all of the hype that surrounds LinkedIn that states the number of employers who use the resource, Not one of my past employers said that they bother looking here. It puts its usefulness as a networking tool into question.

Don't upgrade your service

I tried to upgrade my services with the 39.95 option and they billed me 239.95. No one answers the phone, and you have to search and search for a customer service number. This company is a nightmare. Don't give them any money.

I have tried for 4 days to get hold of anyone to cancel an upgrade I purchased by mistake - I have called them, and left message, I have emailed the with no answer. Very poor customer service.
