I have been a victum of a SCAMMER..
This is the second time on your online dating site...Match.com
Im EXTREMELY disappointed and very angry...with your services.
I have all contact info on the predator..im going to file a big time complaint against your business.
And im also DEMANDING A FULL REFUND.
I have been a subscriber for 2yrs now...and frankly its very dangerous to be on your site.
I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW AND COME ACROSS NOT TO EVER SIGN UP WITH YOUR
COMPANY..IM ALSO GOING TO CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO MAKE A REPORT AGAINST YOU MATCH.COM

I just want to thank match.com for giving me a 1 week free trial. In that week I talked to a few people and met one amazing man. We hit it off our first date and have been dating now almost 1 year and just moved in together. I've been in some toxic relationships prior to this one. He's amazing and I just want to thank you. my connection lasted one month. He was Gold Digger from the beginning. match.com put us together. He is a french speaking man of 62. He violated the Match.com policy of not exchanging monies.. Then he wants to end friendship. He is trouble and a very smooth talker! Warning! So Match.com billed my credit card immediately for 200.00 for 12 months. W O W! I was active for one month. Please take this as a warning. I have names if you need further help. Remember a French speaking man. I believe photos are false advertising.

Anyone thinking of using Match.com - think again - DON'T do it. They take your money easily enough, then provide a scam of a service that requires even more money for you to see your e-mails or matches. Then when you want to cancel you can't. Still they take money out of your account AND don't respond to e-mails. It's infuriating?

I meet my wife on match.com back in 2002 and we married in 2003 on June 6th. This is going to be our 10 year anniversary in which I have enjoyed my life with this wonderful woman. I just want to thank match.com for bringing us together, and let all of you out there that is looking for that special person this site is the only one you will need, it should be called Perfectmatch.com cause it is. I signed up for match and within the first week i was contactd by 5 men. All ended up to be scammers from Nigeria with fake pics and profiles. Since then...no emails or winks. Non of my "daily matches" match what i put in my profile of what i'm looking for. HOW IS THAT A MATCH??? And most of my "matches" are the same sent over and over. I contacted customer service and cancelled my membership within the first month of my 3 month membership. My checking account was recently overdrawn. I didn't know why. I found that "match.com" charged me again for a membership i cancelled. Match.com is a scammers haven full of matches that don't match what you are looking for. A waste of my time and money!!!!

I get several "WINKS" - and then try to respond to the User or WINK-BACK and find out they are Non-Existant - CAN WE SAY BAIT AND SWITCH - - JUST TO GET YOU TO SIGN-UP - -
I even ran into 3 Different People at a Match-Meet-Greet - Who had supposedly tagged my account as a favorite and found out they had no idea who I was - AGAIN CAN WE SAY BAIT AND SWITCH - Just to get you Signed Up by using FALSE Information

Scam from the word go. When your subscription expires you get notices of emails and winks and favorites and they don't exist. They're only there to entice you to renew your subscription. Customer service doesn't exist. Save your money go someplace else...

I have used this site and nothing has come of it and when I have let my subscription cancel then all the sudden I will get winks and then when signed up last time and went to look up profiles from winks there profiles where conveniently where no longer available. I don't mind paying for site but when it seems they have some scam to make you sign back up that is just bad business in my eyes. Then they say if haven't ment someone then they will hook you up with couple months free dont believe that. Customer service is all but gone these days and that says a lot about the company match.com

I finally realised why I wasnt getting any replies when i looked at my sent mail and EVERY SINGLE email said "unread"
When I complained they said it was my fault for renewing my membership early!
I decide to leave and wrote a very simple message on my profile to let the girls know saying why I could not respond to anyone, But anything that even slightly reduced their rep and they wouldnt allow, its like North Korea! I could even say "I was leaving match.com".

I am a female writing this. Has anyone noted that if you get on match early morning (EST where I am), someone IM's you right away. OK...but then they immediately start questioning me on how long I've been on the site and how many men I've met. I ask them why and the response is always.." okay and I am fine".
Then I ask if they understand english and the response is "okay". IMO, these are scammers or they work for match and are doing their own survey.
Plus, I think that if you don't pay for additional services (cost to see if the email you sent was read), then they block legitimate users from contacting you.
THIS SITE IS A TOTAL RIPOFF AND THERE ARE SO MANY PHONEY PROFILES. I BELIEVE THAT THESE PHONEY PROFILES ARE PUT UP BY MATCH.

When I subscribed to other dating sites, my inbox was inundated with communication and feedback from members (of the opposite sex). On Match.com .... nothing! Have been a 'full' (paying) member for almost a week ... NO communication (apart from the 'in general' posts).
I also met a profile used as 'bait' to keep one interested. Unfortunately I can smell a scam. Wasted my money.

I had emails telling me i had so many winks, views and emails. I thought i might aswell give a months sub and take a look at who was interested. To my disbelief 99% of the profiles were fake so i emailed customer support asking for a refund and to cancel. I had an email back saying they were sorry and cancelled my sub BUT refused to give me a refund because i had "used there service" this is all within an hour of subbing.

They set your account to auto-renewed, so you need to cancel the membership way before the subscription expires. And make sure there is a confirmation email. Otherwise they'll stick a renewal with higher prices on you.
There ethical standards is too low to my taste, as well. Once a guy emailed me if we want to have "S**" at his place just before we met for the first time, it was shocking because we don't even know each other yet. After I reported this to Match.com, they just block his profile from my view. He's on the website for others to meet.
Low moral standard, that's my feel.

I tried Eharmony prior to trying Match.com and both sights gave me nothing. I know that I am not a super model but I sent out dozens of emails and winks and never received anything back in return..Are men that lazy to at least send a message that they are not interested!!! No custome service
I hate this site. I had an issue with two accounts that warranted me to speak with someone, but they do not have a phone number, so you have to but it in an eamil. When something is beyond email I want to speak to a real person. I don't have time to sit and wait for a response. Don't recommend this site at all. Loaded with Scam Artists
After almost 2 months of membership, the only matches I've attracted have been scam artists. I've been on other services so I know that there a legitimate seekers. Worth It, and Not Creepy
I had a really good expereince on Match.com. All corresponse was appropriate and respectful, and the site really does of a good job of keeping you from revealing personal details, unless you want to. After only a week or two, I ended up meeting my boyfriend who I have been with for a year. I was very happy with site.

I had a profile on here and canceled after one month, got a lot of spam flirts from Nigeria. Hid my profile and today was sent emails that told me my profile was approved..!..pictures approved.!..went back to check and it was a MAN with my sign on name. Tried to contact them and got the same screen telling me to reactivate my profile to gain access to it. What a scam! I'm never using Match.com again. Peg
