FireFox has gone backwards; Time to dump it and look elsewhere.
I have used fireFox for over twenty years without any real issues; first in New Zealand and now in Australia.But the new version is a complete work of junk. It has been hyped up by some clown and is not user friendly. I updated and lost all my bookmarks. The new bookmark system is complete crap, slow and ineffient when compared to previous version. It appears to be a change for change sake and has not been an improvement. Just some idiot with more time on their hands and wanting to put their mark on a previously great system.

A thing of the past...
Before I found use for Google Chrome, I used to love Firefox. However, after having become used to Chrome's great interface, Firefox just seems slow in comparison. In fact, it even seems to slow down even if I only had one or two tabs open.

Great browser!
When I started college I had to use a site that didn't work with Safari - total bummer as a Mac user. I immediately downloaded Mozilla Firefox and I loved it! It is fast, user-friendly, and I really like the features. Mozilla makes it easy to save bookmarks, remember passwords, and surf the web without issue. I love that I don't have a problem with websites using Firefox's interface - it is annoying when a site doesn't accept a browser and I have to switch to another browser! I also like that all of my downloads are in one place...the downloads box! Recommended.

Awesomeness waning in the past few years.
Ever since Google Chrome came out, Firefox just feels subpar in comparison. In terms of speed, user-interface simplicity, and performance, Google Chrome has it beat.

I LOVE Firefox
Mozilla seems to have the BEST internet browser-Firefox. It's the fastest compared to Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. They consistently update the browser, so it's never behind on the times. I have no problem with web browsing, and I love how fast I can zoom through webpages. I absolutely love Firefox, and have never had one problem with it.

Clear-cut user interface, unlike that of competitors
Recently, Internet Explorer's look has drastically changed, making things difficult to navigate. They got rid of the top toolbar altogether, causing me to have to look for the options menu. Google Chrome isn't much better, with its cryptic design. All the while, Firefox hasn't changed much, and it's this familiarity that draws me to firefox. It doesn't actively try to be "new-looking" and fancy-schmancy.

will anyone even read this?
I have been on M.Firefox for a couple years now & I was being Generous with the 2star review. As of late, FF does not 'recognize my user name/password (even though they 'approved' my password change). I can not log in to ask any questions b/c of this. I have just updated to their newest version thinking it would help-please! Nothing!Yet they seem to have me some where b/c they keep sending me emails! ALSO,I have cleared my cookies & cache, Still,when ff is NOT crashing,it goes SO SLOW I can only type one or two words at a time till catches up! Somethings wrong here & I can't even get in to ask what! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!

Not Relly A Fan
I don't really like Mozilla's browser, although I honestly can't say there is anything really wrong with it. I think there are a few more steps involved in it's use than internet explorer, and I don't like the may it looks.

I upgraded to Mozilla 4, but don't like as much as the previous version. They removed certain features from the previous version of Mozilla that made so easy and useful. I wish I could uninstall Mozilla 4 and go back to Mozilla 3.6, but I can't.
I might just start using Google Chrome, it pretty much works the way Mozilla 3.6 did.

First-rate browser
This review is based on my experience with Firefox, after many years with Internet Explorer. FF is a pleasure to work with. Its big advantage over its competitors is the availability of over 5,000 tweaks ("add-ons") that will meet anyone's needs -- including all the problems expressed by the 2 reviewers whose posts already appear here. If you're particular but not willing to look into its add-ons, Firefox may not be for you.Regarding technical support: FF's support far exceeds that of IE and probably other free browsers. You just have to know where to get it (the mozillaZine forum, at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38).

I recently downloaded Firefox 4, the latest version. I don't like it at all! It is much harder to use. You removed the recent pages arrow that made it so much easier to return to previous pages than using the back arrow. Why would you do that??? The tabs are a pain and very hard to see. I wish I could go back to an older version. You need to make some changes. This is not user-friendly.

Support from Modzilla Firefox is HORRIBLE!! Not being able to talk with a human being is ROTTEN customer service. I downloaded the new version of Firefox and HATE IT. I am restoring my computer to a previous date and getting rid of this complex piece of junk. 4.0 is JUNK. I hate it. I want to back out of it and bring back the old version. There is no home button, the bookmarks are a hassle to get to now. YOU HAVE MADE A HUGE STEP BACKWARD. I used to love Modzilla Firefox...I now detest it.
