Damage valve

Damage valve is usually caused by incorrect timing or brocken timing belt.then make sure you fix you vehicle to the expirienced dealers.

I have a 2017 rouge that i leased. The dte has not worked since I have the vehicle. I had it to the garge twice. I am upset that they cannot fix it. I keep putting miles on it going to the garage.

Brought brand new nissan patfinder when I came home from deployment I have had the vehicle for 5 years loved it. Also recommend someone else to buy one. Visited the dealers which always give me service. They told me I have transmission code showing up now that I am out of warranty. I do not feel I am should be paying for a new transmission. Because there was a recall on this problem nissan knew about.

Just wanted to let you know, I bought a 1997 Pathfinder in 1997. I still have and use this vehicle. It has over 300 thousand miles on it. Thank you for making a good quality, dependable automobile .

It appears nissan has had issues for years with vent hose near the back axle clogging with dust causing the check engine light to come on. I think there needs to be a class action lawsuit brought against them. Maybe I can find an attorney who agrees.

You've been warned

Absolute immoral, unethical charlatans..If their objective is to rip people off, lie to their faces continually, excessively waste peoples time & insult their intelligence then Mossy Nissan excels above and beyond their goals. I am not sure collectively I have seen such a collection of low level con artists working synergystically together to scam people. They are like an ant colony all on the same page with the same goal 'to F*** the public & generate commissions'
I bought a Versa there & immediately has gas milage issues. This I partially take responsibilty for, previously I had my Xterra serviced there and everything in my truck was stolen while in their possession, when I inquired they said "we have new car wash guys that have been caught stealing customers items & they have been replaced" Really, how about replacing the items stolen ?
So after purchasing an extended warranty at signifigant cost they still will not fix the issue, rather they have me bring the car in take a day off work, rework my entire schedule & get a rental car..Then they won't fix anything & call me 30 minutes later saying come pick up the car, its still not fixed and its just a constant run around & games. They have done this to me almost 2 dozen times before I decided I will have to sue them to recover losses. When I asked to speak to the manager yet another series of games, when I finally spoke to him his resolution was to have me take a substantial loss & sell the car back to them & buy another one ? Really ? You want me to buy yet another car from you when you won't even honor or fix the current one ? Churn & burn scum bags ! Shameless scumbags at that, they look you directly in the eye as they tell you a litany of lies . I have left a ton out trying to shorten this up, bottom line if you buy a car from Mossy nissan you may as well set fire to your cash, time & sanity & just pray you don't have a problem, My God !
Let the buyer beware..If your looking for an unapologetic thrill ride of lies, deception, lack respect for you & your time, shameful lack ethics & you just enjoy being run through the ringer & treated like dog poop, look no further you have found your dream dealer !!
If your life is lacking in these areas 1) not being treated terrible enough 2) You really like being talked down to 3) You have incredible amounts of time you need wasted 4) you feel your not being lied to enough 5) You feel you need to be disrespected more in life 6) you enjoy throwing away money 7) if you enjoy metaphorical shots to the groin 8) if your surrounded by good people & feel you need some scumbags in your life for diversity 9) If things are going well in your life & you desperately want to add stress & 10) or finally if your in love with not being called back & constantly like to re-shatter your faith in dealing with car dealers...........Then I am here to say all these issues can be addressed in one fell swoop, just buy a car from MOSSY NISSAN & rest assured all those prayers will be immediately answered & addressed 10 fold.
I am not a hateful or spiteful person generally but if Mossy nissan were on fire & I had the only extinguisher, I'd watch them burn, not because I am angry but in the interest of saving someone else a tremendous amount of aggravation & loss.

Just got the computerized report on the state my 2005 Extera; not good! I am aware that at 161K mileage problems happen but losing a trans, and mother board on the dash, containing all important gauges is simply not acceptable. I bought once 1995 Camry with 145,000 miles and sold it 5 years later with the accumulated 247,000 miles, having had only one serious repair!! Now that, you Nissan, folks is quality!! I don't think that you had maintained quality and reliability you once had. I don't think I will look at the Nissan as my next vehicle. From an SUV one expects the performance and quality which would keep it going over 200,000 miles.

I purchased a Nissan Sentra February 2015. At the time that I purchased my car I was explained that it had warranty on motor and transmission. Also that they would provide a temporary car while they did repairs. Last week on January 2016 my transmission messed up and Nissan dined me a temporary car while they fix mine. My car messed up In less than a year there for it was a factory defect. In that case why should I struggle getting around. They offered a rental but u have to pay it out of my own poket. I go to school full time and I work part time so I drive daily. I don't have another car the only reason I bought a new car was so I didn't have to worry about major mechanical problems.

Dear Nissan,

Please pass along our gratitude to Nissan's safety engineers. We experienced a 70mph crash on Saturday. The whole front end of our Altima is squashed in. We have a few broken ribs. I keep asking myself why we are alive. It is thanks to you.

Evelyn and Fred

I wanted to let the makers of Nissan know that we are very grateful to them for the quality vehicle it is. Our daughter was in a serious accident and we, along with several others, feel she is alive due to this vehicle and it's safety features. We will be replacing it with another Nissan. Her current vehicle was a 2007 Nissan Altima. Thank you!!

I had just resonally baught a Nissan nv200 it has issuses like pore fuel economy and coolant leaks and the tires that came on it only lasted less than 10,000 miles and they told me nothing they can do about it because the tires only have a 20,000 tread life warranty to start with what company is so cheap to put on tires from mexico that only last tops of 20,000 miles,,,

I bought a 2014 Altima on first week of June, 2014, within 3 weeks I have the low pressure tire sign coming on, filled tire twice, did not hold the air. took it to the service station, they said it was a nail and they plugged the hole. my concern is why did a brand new car have such a substandard set of tires, which would leak with a small nail, secondly why did the service station plug the hole instead of patching. now I have a brand new car with a plugged tire.
I have been a customer of Nissan for the last 24yrs. this is my fourth Nissan vehicle. I have bought. I had good experience so far, that is the sole reason I continued to stay with Nissan.
what is the next step, I should take to get a good and dependable set of tires?
please advice.
Usha Nathan

I purchased a used 2010 Nissan Versa with over 53,000 miles on it. I drove it only 2 1/2 years and the transmission went out. I did regular maintenance to the car to keep it in good shape, now I have no car to drive because I can't aford to put in a transmission in a car that I haven't had for long. I regret buying a Nissan. I was told that they were such dependable cars but now I know different. No warranty. I think it's unfair that i have to eat the miles the previous owner put on the car, because I only put 20,000 miles on it personally.

I am posting this and writing Nissan a letter. I bought a 2012 Nissan Altima and was pleased with the car until about a year later when a "thunking" noise started under the car near the front suspension area. This noise only happens when you first start the car and reach about 20-30 MPH. I took the car to the dealer and they told me it was an ABS check. The noise was not evident when I first bought the car. The thunking continues, so I said the issue was not fully resolved. Corporate customer service calls me to tell me to take it to a second dealer which I do. They tell me the same thing - it is an ABS check. They even provide me a Nissan Service Bulletin, dated September 21, 2011 on ABS Self Check Noise which states that the noise is normal. Have you ever heard of such a thing on any other vehicle? It pretty much applies to vehicles built on or after April and May 2011. I never had anything like this on my Honda Accord. Nissan needs to solve this problem with future manufacturing.

No body says anything, nothing is going on about that and there is a lot of people in my situation. No one will even buy this piece of crap for parts!!!!! I have been trying to sell. No results!!!!
anybody knows about any new class actions for over the 100.000 or 10 yr ?????

My complaint is that my 2012 Nissan Sentra does not have fold in mirrors... When I called corporate to complain they told me to call dealership. Which in turn said that that a lot of company's were not using that type to reduce production cost. What the heck, is it really to much to ask for something that saves you from replacing the whole mirror and having to get it painted? I barely clip an older vehicle that had the fold in mirror, no damage to theirs at all. Mine cracked on side. Prior to that when my boyfriend was pulling up to a drive in window during a storm the whole mirror was tore off. If you get a car with power window and locks and other accessories. Why the heck can't you provide me with fold in mirrors??? Also when it rains or the roads are really wet it sounds like the passenger window in the back seat is slightly down, but it's not. That has not been fixed either. Even by replacing the rubber molding around the edge of the door. My steering wheel squeaks, that wasn't resolved either. I feel when you spend this much money you shouldn't have all these not so minor inconveniences.

I am a retired Army Officer and in 2008 I treated myself to a new Nissan Armada. It was the first new car I had bought since my graduation from flight school in 1970. We all thought we were loaded back then. That feeling didn't last very long and finally after retiring and getting a job as a construction consultant I felt I could treat myself once more.
My Armada was a great car but for $18,000 plus it should be. I had typical problems with brakes, radiator, fan controls and the like but all were fixed to my satisfaction.
Now five years later, I walked out to my car one morning last week and the entire overhead console in the back was hanging by some wires. The car had been locked so there was no vandalism.
I went to the local Nissan dealer, one in Jacksonville Fl and was told by the parts department that they see this a lot and it is a poor design. There was no recall on it and it cost more than $800 for the part.
I called the other Nissan dealer parts department and got the same response, that he saw this a lot but Nissan would offer no help on the cost.
being an engineer, I looked into the way Nissan attached this to the ceiling. It is about four (4) feet long and holds and radio control, a heater control, and dvd player and four lights.
What holds all this to the ceiling is four screws located in the middle third and four plastic studs that slide into slots in the ceiling.
It appeared that the studs became brittle and overnight one by one they broke. with all the weight now on the four screws, two of them pulled through the plastic and so the whole console hung by two screws and the wiring harness.
This just happened last week and I just found this website so I have not contacted Nissan Customer Service as of yet.
I will report back as to the "Customer Service" that I get.

This just keeps getting better! (not). On my 2009 Versa I've already posted issues with the battery and AC. Now the exhaust! Muffler unit flange totally rusted out. $300! From several sources Nissan parts are really expensive but obviously cheap quality. The car doesn't even have 55,000 miles on it yet and all this stuff started happening @ 50,000. Nissan refuses to budge off of it being out of warranty even on the matter of principle. Who in their right mind (any vehicle) would accept that these issues are normal wear and tear. Wonder if Nissan execs would be happy with that answer. HATE NISSAN, HATE NISSAN, HATE NISSAN.

I bought a frontier truck new in 2006, my first Nissan and last! WHAT A LOAD OF UNDEPENDABLE CRAP THIS TRUCK IS!! Nissan and their cheap undependable relays cost me at least 500.00 dollars last month! TOWING/DIAGNOSTIC AND $3.82 RELAY,LOST WORK THANKS NISSAN!Why during the recall back in 1/14/11 performance Nissan Duarte ca. did you not replace all 10 relays? OH, by the way, the dealer damaged my weather striping! My truck is serviced (all records) and washed and waxed (it looks new), and when asked how do I like my truck? I just say,I should have bought another TOYOTA! nissans are junk! thanks Mike SMITH 1507 MAYFLOWER ARCADIA CA.91006

My daughter's car, a 2011 nissan rogue, that she uses every day for her job had the transmission and transfer case both die. Yes, she does drive her car a lot seeing that her job requires travel. The rogue had 92,000 miles when both parts died. When purchasing this "NEW" car she questioned car salesman about transmission problems dealing with Nissans, and was told it was all not true. She has spent money for them to tow car to nissan and pay $100 for a diagnosis. After all this they told her they are not going to help her at all. I know by internet research that nissan has extended their warranty on 2003- 2010 to 120,000 miles. I would recommend anyone who is interested in purchasing a reliable vehicle NOT buy a Nissan.

Overhead console on my 2007 Titan fell off. That's right! It fell off. My $3000 warranty will not cover it. Nissan puts out a crappy product and will not stand by it! Never again will I buy a Nissan! Crappy customer service and crappy product.

A great, affordable car company.

Nissan is a company that has been around for years. The make many great cars, one of them the Altima, which i currently own. It is a long lasting car, with great gas mileage. The 2013 model is priced around 20,000$ a great price, considering you wont pay alot for gas.
My only complaint is the inside parts are cheap plasic, so its not a luxery car. overall for the price, you cant go wrong.

DO NOT BUY A NISSAN!!!!

My transmission went out 10,000 miles after my warranty ended. Nissan said this is normal and to replace the transmission it would cost only 4200.00. WTF. They also said there is nothing they can do to help with the cost even when it was taken to the consumer appeals department. Stay away from purchasing a nissan.

I Am A Very Disappointed Owner Of Nissan Maxima 2005, In Fact I Am A Very Bad Advertisement For Nissan, The Car I Bought In 2005 Brand New With Much Enthusiasm And Was Very Upbeat About It, Until Within Two Years Started Having Nightmares, There Was A Transmission Problem For Which I Spent About $4000.00, I Also Noticed That The Exhaust Pipes Which Were Supposed To Be Steel Started Rusting, I Think Steel Never Rusts So It Must Be Some Cheap Material, I Had To Change All My 4 Tires Which Got Worn Out In A Matter Of 2 Years, Then The Alternators Had To Be Changed, The Batteries Too Had To Be Changed At Least 3 Times, Wow, I Am Still Having This Liability Waiting For It To Stop One More Time And Just Call The Junk Yard Men To Take It Away And Do Whatever They Want With It, I Hope They Do Not Charge Me The Towing Charges, But Even If They Did, I Would Pay The Final Funeral Charges For This Nightmarish Car, Trust Me I Have A Couple Of My Friends And The People Who I Know Have Seen What I Am Going Through With This Great Company I Don't Think They Have Nissan But Some Other Better Company Cars Other Than Nissan, Hope Nissan Makes Good Cars And Not Some Cheap Stuff And Sell Them As Cars, Long Live Nissan, Rip

Have had a 2011 Nissan Juke for 3 months and overall am happy with it. However, the mpg rating that was a large part of why we purchased the car (26 - 33 mpg)is totally incorrect. The best that I have gotten in the ECO mode, about half city and half highway has been 24.6 mpg. I look at this as false advertising. If the mpg rating had been accurate, we would have purchased a Mazda cx5.

I will never buy Nissan again, they don't stand dehind the crap they build. I'm not the only one with the transmission problem I guess, but they say they don't have control over the recall's of a vehicle. You would think if they keep hearing the same problem over and over again they would see there is a problem. DON'T BUY A NISSAN./.

Durability is key.

Nissan vehicles are particularly durable, from my experience. Their parts last for a long time, and the cars themselves can take a beating! Great for outdoor-types.

To whom this may cocern , we own a 2010 nissan truck off road 4x4 at twent thousand miles we had to have the rotors turned and here another twenty thousand miles and need new rotors whats wrong with this picture .Nissan you had problems before and said you had this problem taken care of now this is the same problem what are you going to do about this .please check into it you cant say we use the brakes to much because we use the cruise control all the time so you cant blame it on using the brakes hard. we would appreciate a letter concerning this problem.this was told to us when we bought the truck brand new that nissan had fixed this problem . thank you for listening.

I have bought Nissan sunny 2010 and it was a very bad experience.
I am actually shocked, I thought that the Japanese industry in electronics and vehicles is the best as they claim that they are the leaders and founders of quality standards and six sigma. I teach business school through various universities around the globe and my next lectures will actually be THE JAPANESE CRISIS.
My car had 2 problems first a defective rear rotor disc that was replaced at 500 KM. and now a defective front rotor disc that needs replacement at 30,000 KM. The warranty does not cover rotor disc although it is a bit weird that it needs replacement at 30,000 KM. I think if I was riding a Chinese bicycle it would last more. I am sorry but they don't even have a global e-mail to file complaints (maybe because they don't want a headache...

.... April 20th, 2012

The chip which reads a smart key "died". My three year old Altima can not be started. Had to tow it to a Nissan dealership where it remained for TWO WEEKS because the part was on back order! 400 miles over the warranty, the costs of tow, alternative transportation and repairs (less $150 "courtesy discount") were my responsibility. There is NO preventative maintenance for this part, NO recommendation for periodic checking and replacing, and NO warning on its demise. Just head out alone to your car one dark, cold winter night, as in my case, and SURPRISE! Your "smart key" doesn't work.
Adding insult to injury, the replacement part comes with a 12,000 mile, 12 month warranty - indicating that Nissan has no faith in this part's longevity. A definite deal-breaker when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle.

My complaint is I have a 2006 Altima, Just paid it off in August of 2011.
Now I am told the catalayic converter is going bad, now I have had several cars in my life time{ I'm 67 yrs. young} ,Fords Chevys, Chryslers & I had them all for at least 8-10 yrs., never had a converter go bad on any of them!!!! So what is up with this? I had planned to trade my car in on a new Nissan in the spring, but it won't be a Nissan for sure!!! Can't see getting another one just so something goes wrong as soon as it is paid off!!!! Will not recommend a Nissan to anyone!!!!!!!!

I loved my car, I bought it new from the dealer till I start having problem. Everything is fine like staff behavior at Local dealer office but Timeliness of repair...... Its horrible. Based on my experience Should I not consider to buy another Nissan vehicle in future because if some thing goes wrong than you have to wait for part for 1-2 week at minimum. In past 3 month I had my car for total of hardly 4 days at first time and 7 days for second time than I have to take it back to dealer. Repair work doesn't take Long but waiting for part ....Live my life and tell me if I ever wanna purchase Nissan again especially the new ones with all the electronic stuff and related problem on it.feels like my 40,000 investment lost its value.

This is more of a complaint then comment which is not a good one either at this time I purchased a 2006 Nissan Murano only had for 2 year almost and the seat rack broke and the amount charged to have it fixed let alone making payments. The product should have more durability for consumers that owns them with the expenses to keep them serviced and running If you have received anymore complaints of broken items inside the Nissan products vehicle please check your inventory carefully when putting the automobiles together.
