STOP to show garbage channel #1168 ITV gold their picture quality worse & poor better to watch cassettee stupid people showing the same repeate programme in worse quallity never display the name of movie only showing prime time movie & matinee show without name of the movie show us something fine channel instead of this garbage

I can no longer stand having to see the same optimum commercials on non-premium channels over and over and over and over again. I'm already an optimum customer- why do I constantly have to suffer with this? And the same crappy retail commercials- driving me nuts!!! I have to switch to a premium channel to avoid them, or find another carrier that doesn't do this.

Hurricane Sandy did it's fair share of damage to CT and we are lucky that we only suffered a 6-day power outage. What I can't figure out is WHY Cablevision can't get their act together to get their lines back in the air. It's not about having service - I have iPhones and other means of getting my information - it's a matter of getting their lines off our our street and yards and back in the air. They are not answering their customer service lines and forcing customers to wait in a queue for an online chat. I guess I should be glad I have a computer to even to that. IT'S LIKE THEY'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE! I have tried and tried to get through...been kicked out of the online chat line (after near 1hr waits) and I have YET to see anyone from Cablevision on my street. In fact, I received an email from them saying that our "household is back up and running." REALLY? So, 9 days after Sandy and the evening of the nor'easter, the lines that have been laying across our street were cut in half by the plow that came to keep our street clear of snow. Everyone was ready and responsive. Where is Cablevision??????
