Apparently Oster hasn't come into the 21st century.. no email to customer service. I had an Oster toaster I used for years and when it seemed to only toast one side of the bread I bought a new OSTER. This one does the same thing.. ONLY TOASTS ON ONE SIDE of the bread. I'm very disappointed.

i purchased the oster removable pan electric skillet from walmart and the skillet bubbled up the first time i used it. The non stick coating just flakes off. I have read some of the other reviews and, sorry to say oster needs some work on quality.

Hi Just Wanted To Inform The Company I've Purchased Several Osterizer Blenders That I Had To Return Back To Walmart This Month, Because Each Blender Was Missing The Same Piece( The F). Your Blenders Are The Only Blenders Ive Purchased Through Out The Years, Because Of The Good Quality. I Hope This Matter Will Be Looked Into. Thank You

Works well!
I bought a 4 tray dehydrator a few months ago and I use it for everything. works better than I ever thought it would and it's also easy to clean. trays are a little shallow and could be deeper but like i said it does its job. I am a little disappointed though because I could not find any place that sells replacement trays. So overall I'd buy it again and recommend it.Anonymous-88105.... December 9th, 2012
Recently I purchased an Oster toaster oven and have found it to be dangerous. I have been badly burnt on my hand on two occasions while taking out toast by the heating bar at the front top of the toaster oven. My 80 year old dad has also been burnt. I feel this heating bar/strip should not be so open at the front and should be either mounted further back and higher in the top of the oven. What do I do with such a dangerous appliance.

I think of Oster as a higher-end product; it is certainly pricier. I bought a toaster oven two Christmases ago (2009), so a year and a half ago.
It looks nice.
As a toaster, buy a separate toaster. If you and your spouse like different styles of toast, forget Oster. You can't get any degree of precision off the dial.
As an oven, it was (WAS) better.
I bought it for several reasons: 1) relatively wide, 2) nice finish on the metal so it looks good, 3) good brand name.
The first of two heating elements died about 8 months ago, when it was less than a year old. The other heating element died today, end of June.
Right now, it is still working. As a gigantic good-looking timer.
If I am going to buy crap, I can find cheaper crap. But I don't want crap; I want something that works well and is reliable.
My previous unit was a Black and Decker. (It's still in the basement, keeping the furnace company.) It was easier to use, and ran for years. Maybe it's time for B&D again.
Have I contacted Oster service yet? No. Why? I don't want to be having a major service issue with a fancy brand that is less than a year old. Because I will lose my temper, and it will get ugly. I don't need the ulcer or the grief. It would probably cost me less in terms of time and trouble to just buy a Black&Decker today, which is what I will probably do later.
I am a little less furious now, since typing this comment. Thank you, comment website.
