Flawed business plan. I searched for a movie at a Redbox in my zip code and reserved it at my nearby United Supermarket, or so I thought. I didn't notice the fine print until after I posted the reservation, at a United Supermarket in another zip code. What? I searched in my zip code! Oh, well. It's only a buck. I'll just make another reservation at the right address this time. But wait! Once you have a movie reserved, you cannot rent it again, at any location! What idiot wrote that vending software? Denying Redbox another sale even when the customer wants it. Oh, well. Off to Hastings to see if they want my business.

Today I tried to use the free video number I got online a week ago. It would not go through. The code was DVDNIGHT. This gets me a bit upset. Besides it took many many times for my debit card to go thru. I used the redbox at Walmart East. What's with this???

overcharged on rental of movies

I have been charged for movies I rented on day I checked them out Two movies $2.61 and turned them back in two days later and charged $5 plus and was never credited my $2.61 back so I was charged fod three days. not two how anuh times as this happened carolina perez 1515 N Milpitas blvd 32 Milpitas ca. 95035 how can I get a list of what I have rented since jan 2013 at least im on a fixed income

Terrible. Two out of the last three DVDs I rented froze up every few seconds; I had to return them without watching them because of this. Disappointed yet again.

Just signed up for the Redbox/XBox subscription. What junk. first movie i tried to watch got an error because the title was pulled. "sorry" was the response from care. Redbox stay with your kiosks......what junk

Think i'll stay with Netflix and Hulu

I love Redbox BUT! I don't love the app for Red Box on my iPad Come on now can't you make an app for the iPad so we don't have to keep on turning the iPad when we want to watch a trailer of a movie that we may want to rent????
I really think that there is a lot of iPads out there now that Redbox could invest in making an app for that very popular device. Just a thought.

DO NOT RENT !! OVER CHARGED !!

Reserved movies Friday with option to pick up by Saturday evening. Picked up Saturday and returned Sunday was MORE than double charged !! Will not rent from redbox EVER again !! Rip off !!

More of the times...when we get movies...alot of times u don't have closed captions when the movies say its has closed captions. Can u pls correlate all of our movies and find out why this is happening and how we can get adjusted for it. Thank you for your times.

I really frustrated with new release movies that are not closed captioned. I complained and cannot enjoy the movies without subtitles on the screen. I have returned movies several times over the past couple months. I did call Redbox and explain to them but they have never listen to me. I already report National Associates of the Deaf about this. It like what happened to Netflix. Very sad.

CAN'T CANCEL ORDER?????

I rented 5 movies on line to be picked up at a location in town. When I went to pick them up, the kiosk was broken. I called the service number and was told that I would have 24 hours to get the movies but that they couldn't cancel the order! I couldn't go to another location to get any movies because 5 was the limit and I locked in to that broken kiosk! I've never heard of a business not being able to cancel an order under these conditions! Use Red Box at your own risk. I would think that with customer service like this, they will soon fall short of being the replacement for Netflix. I know I am rethinking that right about now!

Redbox tends to be hit or miss.

Sometimes they have a newer release, readily available when you happen by one, other times even when you try to reserve one online, they're either not available, or they say they reserved it, but for some reason it isn't there when you get there.

Most of the time the movies they have available are easily gotten just by using Netflix without leaving home. Their late fees are also outrageous and make it not worth the trip as they only allow you to rent for a single night. Now if you are near one of their kiosks and see a movie you want to rent, and know you'll be near another of their kiosks tomorrow, then go for it. Otherwise, save the gas.

Crappy Service

I absolutely will never use Redbox again, and I hope that others are smart enough not to either. Every time I have tried to use them I have gotten a horrible DVD. There are several cuts, scratches, and scrapes all over the disk. I have been half way through a movie, and it has just stopped working. I will never order from them again. They are a waste of money and time.

I believe that the customer service should be evaluated!

After 2yrs of being a very loyal customer at more than 10 different redbox locations within 3 different states-now I have apparently not returned 2 movies for which I have been charged over 50$ for. This is rediculous! I always return my movies & this has been a weekly thing for me & sometimes 2-3 times per week w/no past problems. Even when I've recieved scratched or bad discs;I have just let it go. I rented a movie on the 22nd of December & returned it about 2am on the 25th while "waiting on Santa to make his stop at my house". Well on the 12th of January, I get charged 25.02 because the 'technician' never recorded it as returned & all customer service will do is credit me back 10$. I explained that I always make sure I return my movies because I rent from redbox so often. Now on the 13th of January, I have a whole new charge for 25.02$ & I just can't wait 2 find out what this new 1 is 4.... **i will NOT be using another redbox ever again!** BOYCOTT>

Redbox Rocks..

I love Redbox. I get codes for free DVD's but it is so convenient and they have great titles. I am lucky they have one at my work so very easy to drop it off and grab a new one. I hope to see more Redbox machines going up and I wish more codes would become available.

Nice

I have enjoyed being able to use Redbox. The selection isn't huge, but it is nice to only pay a dollar or a dollar fifty for a rental versus three or four dollars for a rental through one of the other companies. I am also happy that they have been including game rentals lately.

I rented The Fighter and was very disappointed. As soon as it came out of the box it was in very poor condition. The case was broken and beat up and the DVD was all scratched up. I tried to play the movie and it continued to skip and pause. I couldn't even watch it. I want my money back.

Wonderful concept

Redbox is great. The boxes are everywhere, making it super convenient. The price is so cheap...why didn't anyone think of this sooner?!

I have been a customer service manager for many years,,, I have trained many representatives and helped many customers,,, I have never been so upset and angered by a call center for a company in all my years of being a manager... Your call center will put you out of business!!! Not only are your reps rude so are your so called supervisors at the call centers,, and all over what a few dollars????
