ROBBING ME AND IM SICK OF IT!!

Regions has robbed me yet again! In the past 5 days I have deposited over $2,173 in my account! I had a little over $1,100 in my account and I went online paid my cell phone bill which was $256. So we are on our way heading out of town for Easter weekend stop by the ATM and we are negative $267! There is NO WAY IN HELL we should be negative! Of course Regions doesn't have any customer service after hours! So here we are back at home sitting cause we have no money to go out of town and there isn't anything I can do til Monday Morning! I filed a complaint with BBB hopefully that will help. So I get onto Regions online bank 3 different times last night and got 3 different balances which was 197.63 to the good,back negative 267,and negative 112!! The great thing is i took pitures of all of this so they couldnt tell me anything different or say that didnt happen! So bottom line people you need to find a different bank if you bank with Regions and if your thinking about opening up a Regions account PLEASE DON'T!! I've got so much more to add about what they have done in the past 2-3weeks so if you would like any more info just let me know :) hopefully we can put a stop to them robbing us! Please watch your pending transactions and the dates because they will take out 2-3 times on pending stuff and they like to move dates around on you so it looks like its your fault you went negative! I didn't believe it when someone told me it has happened to them but now I know first hand!

Very bad.

first off, the customer service is flat out horrible. I tried gettings cash back for my credit card and it took days to get my money. It is completley unexceptable, i will not be using this bank again. Thats for sure.

Could be better

I opened an account with Regions in person and provided all of the correct documentation to the bank assistant manager. I specifically told her I would be needing part of the money from my paycheck within 72 hours, and she insisted the funds would be available immediately upon opening the account. The next day there was a hold on my account and they were requesting my social security card (which I'd already provided, and the manager had scanned copies of. It turns out that A. someone had used my information for fraudulent activity, and there was a security hold (which she was aware of but did not advise me of) and B. she then miss-typed my ssn so she could open the account. I had a HUGE mess to clean up and spent several days on the phone and in person all because she wanted credit for opening the account. I closed my account after a year and switched to another bank where I was advised the security hold was never taken care of even though I provided Regions everything they needed for it to be removed. The new bank took care of things ASAP. I would never again bank with Regions, or advise anyone else to do so.

Best Bank Ever!

I started using this bank when I began college, and so far it has been the best. They offer a free checking account for college students, and the atm stations are easy to use. Thusfar I have not had any problems and their customer service is exceptional.

Regions bank robs the poor to feed the rich! They are dishonest, self-serving thieves. Even when you can PROVE that they have stolen from you, they STILL don't concede and fix the problem. They stack the rules against you so that they can make money by screwing you over. DO NOT bank with Regions if you can help it!

I've been with Regions for over 13 years-mortage there. Which is staying, but we are leaving, due to the way you post deposits and can no longer even deposit into ATM machine. Never seen any other bank do bad business like this, like you don't want our money so overdrafts more money for you? Serious. So frustrating.

Its amazing that you can't reach anyone at this bank on the weekend anywhere in the nation. On monday I am switching to US BANK. Thanks for screwing me over with my debit card jerks.
