Login set up for cosigner to esign loan
This is the most NOT friendly process;i keep trying to create a new login as the cosigner and keep getting that the data I have entered does not match and to try again. When I call, the person on the other end is not helpful and can't speak clear English. I'm going with a different lender. You're online process stinks. I've been trying to resolve this for 3 days now and I'm over it!

Terrible rates, even worse service.
The government-decreed rates are quite bad. Better off to look for a private loan that will undoubted be cheaper. If not, you just enjoy not getting your questions answered in a timely manner.

Horrible to work with!
SallieMae is nearly impossible to deal with. They pass you along from person to person in hopes you will give up, mostly becuase you cannot understand them. I tried to put my loan in forbearance since I was not eligable for a deferment due to my unemployement. They told me that I had to pay them $150.00 to make this happen. I called them because I could not pay them, so how did that make sense. They just try to get you to default your loans instead of work with you, because then no one else wants to take over you loan and your credit is then screwed!!!!Anonymous-26260.... April 6th, 2011
I agree. They are frustrating and incompetent. I have never had so many problems with a loan company in my entire life. There is no excuse! This company should not even exist if it cannot manage loans any better than this!!

wth... it has taken me 3 months to get the proper forms... or so i thought! my loan is due in 1 1/2 weeks and i still don't have an answer! sallie mae you officially suck! and since it's government run... this crap is NEVER gonna change! love me some foriegn people but not when it comes to answering my complicated financial questions!!! they are probably taking 10 times as long to answer my questions as a native speaker would which at the end of the day doesn't seem like they are gonna save much money by outsourcing their rep jobs!!!!!
