Refund for Erroneous Charge

My husband and I have been Sam's Club members for over 20 years and have never had any issues until recently. Back in May, I ordered a TV online and had it delivered to my mom as a gift. The TV was delivered on 15 May by Fed Ex and was damaged. I contacted Fed Ex and Sam's on the day of delivery (15 May) to notify them both of the damages. I was advised to submit a claim with Fed Ex for the damages, which were later denied. The next day (16 May) Fed Ex returned to pick up the TV to return back to Sam's. On 2 June, Fed Ex resolved the claim with Sam's and the TV was back in the possession of Sam's as of 14 June.
Fast forward to 31 July, when we receive an email from Sam's stating "Our records indicate that you have been given an opportunity to return - Samsung 40 Class 1080p LED Smart HDTV processed on 7/28/2017, with an outstanding balance of $391.48. Since we did not receive the item by the communicated return-by date, we assume that you have decided to keep it and have charged your credit/debit card in the amount of $391.48."
My husband contacted Sam's to let them know that the TV was previously picked up on (16 May) by Fed Ex and returned on (14 June). The representative advised that someone would look into the matter and get back to him. One week later, a charge appears on our account in the amount of $391.48 for a TV that has been in Sam's possession since 14 June.
Since the beginning of August, we have been fighting between Sam's and Fed Ex trying to "prove" that we did not have the TV in our possession. My husband and I both have called numerous times (9 Aug, 11 Aug, 19 Aug, 21 Aug, 22 Aug) and spoken to several different people. They continue to tell us that we should see a refund within 48-72 hours and provide us with new reference numbers (170811-004738) and add notes to our account without any resolve. Today, I was informed that our ticket was initiated on 17 Aug and that it was currently being worked. I was advised that it usually takes 3-5 days for refunds to process and that "I should remain patient."
I've worked customer service for years and it perplexes me that as the customer, I need to remain patient to receive a refund that I never should have been charged for. My husband and I were basically treated as criminals.
We took the initiative and did all of the leg work to locate the TV which was at your facility the entire time. In fact, we did the job of one of your employees by providing pertinent information proving that the merchandise was returned and not in our possession. It was finally revealed that whomever processed the return, failed to check the merchandise received box at the time.
We have been accused, continuously given the run around and frustrated beyond belief over an employee's mistake and all we received from Sam's is "continue to be patient, we are working on it." None of this was our fault! We still don't have our refund and I was told to call back in a few days to verify that the status of our refund has changed to "finalized".

Today when I called back for verification as previously advised and after being on hold for 20 minutes, I am being told that I need to provide a copy of my credit card statement to show proof of the overcharge even though it is showing in the system.
I would love for someone from the corporate office to contact me regarding the company policy on providing quality customer service and offer a remedy to rectify this horrible experience.

I bought a package of 10 pork loin chops at Sam's. Bait and switch - I paid for 10 center cut pork chops and only got 4.

The package identified the pork loin chops as "center cut." I could see four of the chops containing the tenderloin in the package and they were beautiful.

However when I opened the package, there were only (4) pork chops which were "center cut containing the tenderloin". These were on top hiding the remaining 6 pork chops.

The remaining (6) pork chops were "not center cut". They rib chops with a completely different bone. Bait and switch.

My wife and I got a coupon for a free rotisserie chicken from the Sam's club in New Britain, CT. That sounded really great. We got our rotisserie chicken, it looked beautiful until we cut it open to find bloody meat. We were afraid it was loaded with salmonella so we tossed it in the trash. So much for a free under cooked chicken from Sam's club.

SAMS CLUB>>>>>>>>>>>>>>CON ARTISTS! ! ! ! SAM WALMART, SHAME ON YOU ! ! ! ! ! I won a bid for a television, thinking I was getting a good price. They socked me for 83.00 in shipping charges, making it no deal at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I also will no longer continue to renew my membership and will never buy another item from them EVER!!!!

Huge!

All of my local Sam's clubs are HUGE and have great employees. They seem to all work with you to make sure you have a great experience. Their selection is huge and they also have a ton of fresh foods, much more than I have seen in the other warehouses. My favorite things to buy here are Breakfast Essentials and coffee - two things I use A LOT of every day. They have great membership prices too!

My wife and I bought a Keurig Coffee Pot
and everytime we go to Sams in Greenville,
SC, they NEVER have Decaf coffee. There is
a display on a pallet in the middle of the
floor. Even though I talked to managers,
and stockers, the decaf is never there.
I have made a complaint five times and it
has done no good. Either it is not being
ordered or not stocked. My wife and I
prefer the Green Mountain Light Roast
Decaf or the Doughnut House Decaf. Neither
is stocked. If I can't get it at Sams,
maybe we need to shop where we can get it.

Sam's Club Pharmacy has changed its insulin that you can buy at a reasonable price from Humilin back to Novolin. Humilin R works well but Novolin R is worthless! I am one of those uninsurables not quite old enough for Medicare and I guess I will just have to die. Novolin R is most of the time totally non-effective, probably just filer or water.

We were told if we got a sam's club credit card we could use the card for gas at wal-mart, we have a diesel truck, and Sam's Club does not handle diesel gas but Wal-Marts does, but we could not use it at Walmart, very upsetting! Not sure why SAMs can't handle Diesel gas!

Store filthy especially the cafe.Kids roaming free unattended touching everything.Employees filthy looking .its the worst Sams.The fresh department moldy and outdated product.

My family has been buying Sams Club baked goods for over 12 yrs but they are now selling Artisian brand baked goods and they are HORRIBLE...we had 24 people over for thanksgiving and not one person liked their baked pies (we bought their pumpkin and apple)..we will no longer be buying any of sams club baked goods again!!!!

bad customer service

we went there to buy tires for our car.. we got there and they had to go to the warehouse to get the tires.. they came back with a load of tires.. and the guy insisted that none of them would fit the car.. i recognized the tire size on his cart but he insiste that he had to see the car. so i showed him and the tires i picked out fit..so i gave him the keys to my car and he brought it into the garage and said it would be 45 minutes.. we went shopping and spent an hour in the store and went back to get our car..while we were waiting in line to get the car we got a page from our son that we had to pay for the tires before they would start work. we had refridgerated items in the cart ...we were very upset we paid for the tires and were told it would be another 45 minutes. we put the refridgerated stuff back and sat a the cafe for an hour starring at the walls..we went back an got our car after that..the mechanic came out and said we were missing 2 lug nuts which i know were on there...had to go to an auto store to buy them...we will never do business with sams club again..george and rita klingberg

shopping cart accident

My car was hit by a shopping cart in a storm. It is documented on video. Employees were standing watching the storm and observed it happening. I talked to the manager, a claim was sent to CMI and was denied. They state that I accept the risk for parking in their lot. I was only asking for 100$ deductible. I am a regular Sam's Club shopper, but will not go there again because it is "too risky". Guess it is better to shop on line!

today i went to sams on chalkvillemountain rd.to buy some ground chuck they were all out the guy working meats said i had to get there early i have to work so i cant get there until about 6.30 every time i go in after work theyb never have any ground chuck or beef they should put out some later than they do if things dont change i wont be renewing my membership
