Some years ago I traded very often with scottrade, the one year I did over 5000 trades, when Bear sterns was going under, I made a trade, sottrade put my trade through 13 min. after I entered it, it cost me over 3000 dollars. I thought I, being a good customer, that they would, make amends, but all I got out of them was bs, and excuses, about either my computer or time warner, in fact I had the cable company check it out and I had my computer co. check my puter, they all agreed it was sottrades servers that couldn't handle the volume, go to etrade instead....Joe ps they have now lost over 8000 trades in commsions.
