I'm paying for the fastest internet connectiong shaw can provide and oh look im getting 15 mbps when im paying for 100mbps WTF!Getting put on hold for 2 hours is a load of crap at the same time.

or high speed 10 wifi does not stream or download will not use youtube and will only enter the first page off of google before internet disconnection on direct cable

I haven't paid for cable for about 10 years.

So how Shaw gets even is increasing the price of my internet bit by bit every year.

It's pretty much $70+ each month just for 1.5up and 2.5 down.

The service is always slow and lousy, even when I am paying for Xtreme. Phone them up and all they do is blame you, your house, the wire, the computer, the cat, w/e. Its never their fault.

I hate Shaw, we need more choice in Canada to make it competitive.

Shaw Gateway and Logitech Harmony One all in one remote is not a marriage made in heaven but a nightmare from hell. Here we have to very large successful companies who say they care but do the opposite like 2 children who were caught with there hands in the cookie jar and point to each other with halo on top of their horned heads.
Get with the program and communicated with each other and repair your mapping on the Harmony One Remotes; for example fast forward 15 min and fast rewind 1 minute,menu selection is a total mess, the left and right buttons do not work, the list is endless. Shaw should recognize the target market who buys into the Gateway system at $500 to $1000 do not want to use 5 to 20 remotes, so the Harmony one at $200 is a good value for less headaches.
Fix you problems stop taking surveys and giving my number to your so called Marketing Department(888-472-2222) to sell me more garbage that does not work.

Every time it snows a little bit, I have to clean my dish. It is so badly designed that the snow accumulates on the bar that holds the LNB and blocks the signal. The older dishes were designed differently, so that a little bit of snow would not interfere but the newest dish isn't.
Any others have problems with snow on the dish?

I know I'm not the only who is saying that SHAW movie reruns are a lot much. The same movies fifty times a year, for eg: I ROBOT which to no surprise is on again. With all the 1000's of movies out there why not mix it up folks. I suggest that the movies must be all preloaded and then random is hit. Then the vacation starts. There is no effort put for the viewing audience its all about how fat the pocket gets, all the while fogetting who put it there. (THE PUBLIC)

Who posts all this stuff?? Shaw/Telus/ who ever.. I have shaw phone works every time i want to make a call. I have shaw internet I'm on it right now.. I have shaw TV it's on behind me right now.. Everyhting is working good!! So whats all this bad mouthing Shaw all about and people wont evern put there name down. [email protected]

Shaw gateway sucks. Got it install on Jan 24/11 and have phoned shaw with problems everyday. If you edit your channel list, it will show blank pages of guide where there should be channels. Reconding sucks, if you do a series recording and add a time slot, it still records every time and channel. If you press to record a future item, nothing happens and it doesn't show on the guide. If you do it again it says already scheduled to record but still doesn't show anything. If you chech your pvr scheduled recordings, nothing is there.... These are just a few problems, there are much much more.... Save your money, it a waist of time, stay away....

Shaw Communications - The Worst Customer Service Known to Man

Shaw used to be one of the better telecommunications operators when it came to customer service, technical support, and installation. Sadly that is no longer true. Calls to any Shaw customer service center of any kind involved waits of several hours before you can get any type of a call back.ordering services online is simply impossible. It is taken me over one month to arrange changes to my existing service and the delivery of new hardware. Calls to technical support and up on the desk of someone who has no idea what to do with simple problems. Shaw simply no longer seems to care about their customers. It is no wonder they are losing business to competitors. My next review and complaint will be with the CRTC who hopefully will be able to take some action to get shot to improve its performance as there is often little effective competition in their markets. I simply have never encountered worse customer service in my life. Shaw wake-up and start serving your customers properly.

POOR, UNACCEPABLE, NON-EXISTENT "SERVICE"

When a customer calls SHAW to order a couple of bundles, one doesn't expect to have to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait (get the picture) and spend the best part of the day trying to BUY a product. I had planned to switch my phone to Shaw once Shaw phone service was in place in my area, of course that won't ever happen and I'll stay with Telus. I have every intention of making my comments into a letter to the editor, I imagine that I'm not the only appalled customer.

missing tv channels. Internet goes down 4 or 5 times a day. They installed an amplifier to boost the weak signal. Fixed some issue's, however still missing channels. More importantly the internet goes down all the time. I am switching to Telus ( as much as I dislike them), they at least provide reliable services.

We have been with shaw for almost 7 years and never had a problem, they have always been polite and able to help when needed. The wait times are a bit long but not too bad. Usually less than 10 minutes.

I have lost my internet connection and my telephone connection twice in the past 2 days, and several times in the past 5 years with less than satisfactory excuses. If the product is old renew it, if it is faulty repair it, if you don't care tell me.

Shaw updated the voice mail to the point that it never goes off now. it keeps saying we have a new voice message when we do not. Really is a piece of crap.

- Shaw product are terrible!
- I thought Bell service was poor, hummm Shaw is 100 times poorer!!!
- Shaw nightmares started at install and even after cancellation the nightmares are not over!!

I had switch from Bell to shaw for pricing reasons, in the end it costed me and extra 200$ with shaw plus a major waste of time over the phone.

Anyone interested in having more details on my nightmare with them are welcome to request my story at [email protected]. I just can't post-it here since it's about 3 pages long of notes and details.

Again: RUN, RUN don't look back at shaw!!

In a short sentance my recommandation is very simple...... RUN FAR AWAY FROM SHAW !!!! or unless you like to repeat same frustating stories to new customer service people all the time without solving the issues!

The phone you have listed is not in service. The 310-Shaw number is also not in service. When you attempt to get customer service chat, the screen disappears. The message says it is because of a pop-up blocker, but when you click to allow pop-ups from Shaw it returns you to the initial screen. It is obvious that this company doesn't want to hear from customers, yet from all the comments on line that it is intent on fraudulently billing people for suites that either don't exist or are not tenanted, and also illegally compounding interest. That is why they are the target of class action suits. Well deserved, too, IMO

Dishonest company.

For years I have been paying enormous amount, i didnt realize i shouldnt trust them and I never did checked them. I found out that this amount can go down for over $100. no loyality to a good costumer. Dont trust Shaw. This will also go to the newspaper.

Not fun cancelling a shaw direct subscription......can't seem to do it on line. If they know that you're cancelling when you phone, they'll leave you hanging on the phone all night.

I am sitting with a $2000 bill and I am no able to get any saisfactory answer, part of this bill is repeated two months later, I don't want to talk to them on phone, I asked them to provide me an e-mail address where we can communiate and I can keep my correspondance records but no mail address was provided.
No one in customer service are able to help, they tell me some one will call me but it never happenes. I can't pay them this kind of money which is not clerified and is obviously a mistake... but what are my options, no one seems to be listning...
once they issue you a bill... they threaten you to pay up....!!
this is outragious and one way communication..!
Correcting the bill is my full time job now.. still i reached no where...

I am going to complain to CCTS...
or have to go to small claims court...
