poor customer service

Sudden link does not show up for appointments THEY have scheduled. When I called in they only want to schedule another appointment but when I ask for a supervisor they put me on call back but did not call back

I personally don't appreciate the lost of signal they have had for about three to five times a month and they don't want to go down on the price I really think the company needs to relocated to another place on the map cause their service of cost stinks

3.0 mbs. is not even close. I am only getting 0.73 mbs. download and 0.38 mbs. uploads. this internet service is a joke i would change in a heartbeat if i could.

In the last two weeks, I have lost internet at least 5 times a day. What's their cure for that? Unplug the router, then plug it back in. They blame my computer, but it isn't. I have diagnostics on my Apple. It clearly shows that it is the ISP. Never had this problem with the Verizon DSL.

Inconsistent at best

The worst service I have ever had. From the techs that cannot give you a single straight answer, to the most inconsistent internet service on the planet. This is my last month with them, and it will not end fast enough. If you have a choice, DO NOT choose Suddenlink. They should be ashamed at their level of service from front to back

This is the fastest Internet I have ever had. It is the best for the price. My downloads were like no other! This was in Prestonsburg, KY.

On their TV commercial they advertise Free HD for your TV. However at their store the story is that you rent the box that provides the free HD signal.

I just got back to Lubbock from Christmas break and I am still greeted for the sickening slow internet provided by Suddenlink. I live at University Pointe and the internet is just ridiculously slow. Right Now I believe I have a download speed of .2 mbps. When I am at my house in Dallas, I can download a 135mb file in under 2 minutes. Here with Suddenlink, it looks like it will take my hours.

Have been with Suddenlink for a few years now. The internet is so slow in the evenings that you are unable to use it. This happens every evening. Other people in this area are also having the same problems. Have had the service tech here on numerous occasions. The problem is they do not have enough bad width for the area they are serving but yet we are having to pay.

It's Thursday morning and I am losing stations. An ongoing problem. Also, I had internet problems. Also an ongoing problem. I would call, but they always say the same thing. Turn everything off and turn everything back on. Lots of times that doesn't work. HOURS later everything clears up.

The internet is constantly disconnecting. Check the settings on my Mac. No problem there. The TV reception on the cable is horrible. Can't be the wiring. That was replaced a few months ago. I pay for all these stations, but on weekends I lose tons of stations. I am switching to Directtv pretty soon. Can't be worse than Suddenlink.

I have more "problem with signal" messages with Suddenlink than I ever did with satellite. I am so frustrated with them. I have it mainly for football, and what happens on Sunday? Problem with signal on the NFL redzone channel which is the ONLY reason why I went with them over Directv. Completely unacceptable.

suddenlink provides payson arizona Tv internet
when the TV is working, there internet is the worst i have seen. NPG was much better. I guess if aint broke dont fix it doesnt apply to them the system from NPG worked fine and was very reliable. suddenlink sucks. there service sucks. so does there techs.

Suddenlink stinks!!

I hate this company, but if I want Internet "service" (and I use that term loosely) I have to use them! I had daily problems with them since before Christmas, but didn't call in til about the first of the year. And then I called for TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT cuz I didn't have use of the Internet. They FINALLY got it fixed so I called for credit. I asked for a month's credit for all the aggravation, but all they said they could give me was for the 14 days that I called in. That wasn't acceptable to me, so we 'argued' about it for a while, til I finally asked to speak to her supervisor. Low and behold, "DEVONN" came back and said she would give me a full month. 'But from now on, I need to call every time it's out, so they have a record of me calling'. What a crap company!! I'm considering going back to dial-up. So it will be slow, but I won't have to deal with these incompetent people anymore!!!

i have had suddenlink now for 3 months, i am very displeased with the service as a whole. the cost is too high for the service you get, i moved to athens tx in january 2011 and I got the suddenlink service cable and internet, 1 movie channel, about 200 channels or less and WIFI internet $145 monthly. lol, i came from using att uverse 300 package with internet for $120 a month with 2 movie channels. so go figure that. this is only the beginning of my nightmare.

on march 11 2011, my 72inch screen tv that is only 3years old just went off, no picture or audio at all, i unplugged and replugged and got sound but no picture, did that several times, left for about 8 hours came back and it did the same thing i was never able to get the picture back, well i called suddenlink tech support and they tried to direct me over the phone to do certain things and that did not work. the first tech who name i did not write down informed me that the earliest appointment they had would be monday between the hours of 8 to 12 & 1 to 5pm. well i do not work in the city and i told her that i would not be home until after 6:30 pm, those were the only service hours so i asked to speak to a manager and i spoke with Kevin. Kevin informed me that those were the only avaliable hours as well and he wanted to trouble shoot the tv again as well mind u this is now a 1 hour call. they earliest they would send a tech out to accomodate my hours would be 3 weeks away on a saturday. i informed Kevin that i could not wait that long that was the only tv i have in this home i am only here temporary, so he then told me that it does not appear to be the cable i was online and she showed no issues with the cable, so i informed him that if i went out and bought a tv and it was the cable that was knocking out my tv that they would be held responsible. Kevin said i cannot advise you to go and purchase a tv, well that is fin but you cant get to me for 3weeks what am i suppose to do until then his response we will credit you for down time we know that was a joke right. Kevin then told me to remove the hdmi cable from both the box and the tv wipe it off with a dry object make sure no oils was on it and plug it back into the tv and the cable box. it did nothing i turned the tv off once again and the audio came on but not the picture and he heard it do that twice..so Kevin said that "i quote" i can assure you it is not the cable it has to be your tv you should contact your tv manufacture and ask about the warranty. it is definately your tv not the cable. all this is recoreded.. i said ok i will have to go buy a tv because i cannot go without a tv for 3 wks and i was convinced it was the tv at that point however my tv is not still under warranty and i dont know of any service people in the city nor did i know how long it was going to take for someone to come and tell me it was my tv and i would have to buy another one.
i will continue this is the 1st day this issue gets worse. stay tuned in..my name is toni Johnson- to be continued.
