Non disclosed terms and conditions
Trivago uses Bedfinder to process reservations. I did a booking last night and cancellation terms were not disclosed before making booking. States "free cancellations" when in reality, you have only 24 hours to cancel and changes are made immediately to your account. If you do not cancel immediately, you are charged the FULL amount of the reservation. Also, Trivago has NO customer support number available and I find that very concerning based on the amount of advertisement that they have.

We checked into our hotel in santiago de cuba, cuba
Called villa gaviota santiago. We expected everything your advert said... what we got was almost a completely different hotel..
No pool.
No 3 bars
No restaurant
No free wifi in the rooms..
Actually no paid wifi in the rooms...
Actually no wifi at all in the room.
A complete lie, there is even a picture of the pool on your site....

Hotel king is very bad hotel. Convey, No one is ready to go hotel king. Space of room is like wash room, room is very very short. The picture of hotel king which is shown in trivago is totatlly different. Please don't waste your money in hotel king, chor hai hotel king wale.J

Trivago hotel Cancellations
I have been trying to cancel a room reservation that was made with Trivago. It is horrible. Do not reserve any room with this company if there is any chance that you won't be able to make it. They do not have a legitimate telephone number for customer service. When you call the number that ends with 1439, it says that it is not a good number. I emailed Trivago after tearing my hair out for no working phone number to contact Trivago. I called the hotel to no avail. They refuse to cancel. It all appears to be a set up to charge people for one day's stay. I am about to call my bank and cancel my debit card so that they don't trick me like that. I just had $1270.00 unauthorized transactions on my card. Everything is on High Alert with Loss Prevention, but still it shouldn't have to come to that.

Is Anybody Home???
Every time I try to book one hotel on Trivago and click on it, whether it's on Travel Guru or another site, I am taken to a completely different hotel. If I wanted a different hotel other than the one I put down, I would have asked. There is, as far as I can see, no number to call if you're out of Germany (I'm in India) or no chat opportunities.
