My husband and I travelled with us airways in September from Scotland never again every connection was delayed with one excuse or another,on the way back from Tampa my cabin luggage went missing which they asked to be put in the hold still waiting 10 weeks later with no one returning any correspondence, I travel to Tampa every year as I have family there but I will not be choosing us airways again I would rather pay for a more expensive ticket than give them any of my money, maybe I will get a refund before my next trip HA HA.

I am sending this memo with disgust how US Airways handled and had my parents stranded at the airport in CLT when in fact they were trying to reach Miami to Baltimore since Sunday November 10th. I just made another reservation for them to stay at a hotel in Charlotte with no assistance offered by US Airways. Their luggage has been in BWI since Monday morning (if not Sunday night). I will be sending this experience to all the authorities and friends and acquintances i can think of. They were not allowed to get on a total of four flights on Monday which led them to stay overnight in Charlotte with the hopes that they will start all over and try again tomorrow. I do not believe no standby passengers were allowed to any of the four flights but i can only confirm the fact that they were the ones always left behind with the possibility to get on the next flight until there were none left. Way to go US Airways to treat elderly foreign nationals who are trying to reach their final destination to visit their son. Way to go to send their luggage 2 days before and leave them with no additional clothes and necessities and stranded in different states/cities. Way to go for honoring individuals who paid higher $ amount than my parents to the operation.

On an international flight the food was a disaster. OJ has better food in jail. I notice the pilots and attentants eat before they get on the flight. Most of the passengers don't eat the food and it is thrown out. A waste of money and time.

'Customer Service' and 'US Scareways' are Illogical and Oxymoronic

After ruining my trip to San Fransico, US Scareways response was to leave a few messages on my answering machine with no return number. I will spend the rest of my life advising all to stay away from this pitiful compamy.

My wife and I have just returnd from our 5th business class trip to Israel on US Airways. The service has been excellent, however, the food has been atrocious at every meal and each flight. For the several thousand dollars we pay in added cost, you can do better. This has probably been the lst time we will fly US Air.

US Airway Agent Misbehaves

All,

I had a delayed baggage at Huntsville Airport. The baggage contained all my attire for a formal office meeting.Since my flight reached at 8 pm, I wasn't sure what were my options. I went and talked to the US Airways Supervisor at the airport and asked him what was the US Airways baggage policy if the bag doesn't come. Instead of answering my question, he said that the bag will come in 11 pm flight. I repeated my question that what if my bag doesn't come in a 11 pm flight. Instead of further answering my question, the Supervisor called the cop and told that I was being unruly. After this experience, I believe that US Airways Supervisors need to be trained so that they understand the difference between someone being in distress vs someone being disorderly. I am a Star Alliance Gold member, and I feel that I made a bad choice in choosing an airline which works with such untrained Supervisor. I even called the 1-800 customer service number of US Airways. I did not get a clear answer to my question. Why is it that such a simple question on delayed baggage such a difficult task for the airlines to answer. In summary, US Airways were below par in customer service and timeliness. The ticket was very expensive and hence they were not cost effective either. US Airways overall behavior does not reflect the values they project in advertisement. Hence, I will have to rate them 1 in all the categories.

Worse company ever

This airline has no sense of customer service. Something always appear to go wrong with each flight experience. I ensured my luggage being lost twice on same round trip ticket, to numerous delays. Worse of all the frequent miles program is worse in the industry. Good luck trying to find low coach with 25000 miles even if booking months in advance. Do yourself a favor, avoid the stress and fly with a different airline.

Never buy us airways.

Unbelievably horrible how bad this company is run. My boyfriends flight was delayed 2 hours before they made everyone deplane and get in a new one. When it still didn't show up I called customer service and they weren't even aware of the delays and told me it arrived on time. The manager then was rude and inconsiderate but did figure out that the plane had a later arrival. It's arrival was completely missing from the board but did eventually come on...4 hours late. NEVER buy us airways-this is my 3rd horrific experience, which is why I had to write this!

Ok, but not too organized

I would say the US airways is not as together as the other airlines-- thier terminals are often organized in a confusing way. They also do not often have connecting gate information because of this.

Very bad experience with a Philadephia flight transfer. Luggage arrived soaking wet inside. No response from customer relations - - three weeks now.

This is a company that does not exceed in customer service but more in scamming their customers. Not only was I transferred to multiple departments and personnel, but was guaranteed the miles I was looking for on my account would be there by a specific date when in fact - it would be weeks out before I would see them. Then on top of that, after I had already purchased & transferred miles to another accounts, was advised that I would need to pay the fee to transfer additional miles to avoid the delay in waiting for the ones that I was guaranteed. Very rude and not sympathetic! I woud NEVER recommend this card or this airline to anyone.
