masks

went into post office of san tan valley az. Went in and a lady did not have a mask and I said to her how is that mask working for you and she said "none of your business. I said there are people dying and i am a veteran at risk. The old gentleman said. STOP NOT IN MY POST OFFICE. I told him I was a veteran with health issues. Same response do not talk about that in here.
So my question is are people dying, is arizona a hot spot for the virus? Did not know that the usps is not worried about someone who does not have a mask on getting the virus or the fact that it is okay to be inside the usps and be told not to tell someone about your concerns of getting the virus. Just a simple thing of wearing a mask and the government says basically shut up. Thank you in advance I think...

I had three items that I verified with the recipients that USPS has over charged me for shipping. Your automated system is junk. You have made it a huge hassle to attempt to get a refund. The only way I can fight back is to boycott the US mail and cost you money. My bills are now being sent electronically, and whenever possible I will choose fedex or UPS.

slow delivery

My package was to be here in 3 days been 7 now and its sat in rochester ny for 2 days straight still no packe they changed delivery to the 17th along ways from the 13th. shipping is expensive threw usps and you dont get what you pay for.

PLEASE DO NOT USE USPS

I sent a package worth over $500 of clothings from CA to NY on 1/28/14 with 1 day guaranteed delivery at $90 for postage. after four days, the package is still undelivered and after repeatedly calling the usps( listening mostly to robots), they kept telling me that they are trying to locate my package. the reason why i choosed 1 day guaranteed delivery was because i wanted to send it with someone who is going to my home country on 2/2/14. Its not just about my hard earned money but the time i spent collecting those special things to my loved ones. I am frustrated not just with the usps but with myself for choosing them. I will be extremely heartbroken if they tells me that my package is lost. I WILL NEVER EVER USE USPS IN THE FUTURE.

p.s i have to select 1 star to submit this review.

It certainly isn't "My" Post Office as they say when they answer the phone.

I have received notices from two packages that were not delivered even though they did not require signatures. My "local" post office is downtown (not where I live) and requires visitors to search and pay for parking and go through a metal detector to enter the building. The reason I ordered items for delivery is because I work full time. Of course, they are not open on Saturday either. I have requested re-delivery two times for each package and nothing. I have also spoken to one of our rotating mail carriers who said she would redeliver-that was on Monday-it is now Friday and no package. I do whatever I can do to not have items delivered via usps. When they do deliver packages they typically throw them at my front door from the sidewalk-I have seen it happen. Deplorable service.

Loss of $12.

I'm glad it wasn't a more expensive package that they lost in the mail. It was only a $12 package, but for other people, it might not have been. In addition, they have such poor customer service that I couldn't get the package info on where it was lost.

I am curious as to why first class mail in the United States is unbelievably slow. I commonly get mail and correspondence from my bank in Arkansas to my home in Michigan with delivery times of 6 DAYS or longer!!! I can order products from California and have them delivered without express delivery....in 3 DAYS. Yet an envelope from Arkansas takes 6? Something does not make sense. If UPS or FedExpress were allowed to deliver first class mail....the USPS would be gone overnight.

Budget cuts really show.

The local post office is unmoving proof of this. Usually only one out of the three kiosks is open in the cramped space, and there seems to be long lines no matter what time I go.

US Postal Service: You Get What You Pay For

USPS has awful customer service and they destroy and lose countless packages. Their services are definitely affordable, but any time you choose USPS you're taking a risk. I receive packages regularly and there is no comparison when it comes to UPS or FedEx vs. USPS.

Obvious mail choice

I've always had great, friendly mail carriers throughout my life, and I think the USPS works very hard to make sure customers are satisfied. If I ever have a problem with a package, I know they will figure it out promptly and make sure things get where they are supposed to go. I can trust that my mail will get to me and that the mail I send out is delivered with care.

Very Bad Service

I travel frequently. Nine months ago I used your online service to put my mail on Hold with no problem. The procoedure was simple and quick. I immediately got an email confirmation. Tonight I have tried for 55 minutes to do an online Hold for my mail without success. The experience has been horrible and I'm running out of time before I have to leave for the airport.

Fees are ridiculous.

Try sending anything heavier than a piece of paper, and you've suddenly got fees after fees after fees. Definitely not worth it in this time and age.

This is the SECOND time that you have sent my PTIORITY MAIL pacage to North Carolina from Capital Heights MD when it was going to Delaware. It was one hour away from me, scheduled to be delivered 2 days before, and then you send it all the way to North Carolina, instead of here, then to Philadelphia where it should have gone 3 days before to get to me. I am really pissed! You are so inefficient that it is ajoke no wonder you are having trouble. PRIORITY MAIL that takes 9 days to go to Delaware from OK> Right!! Always on time

All the items I order off Amazon are sent in by the USPS, and I am extremely satisfied with them. Before i used this service I had heard horror stories of packages being lost, and hundreds of dollars never reimbursed. These reviews couldn't be further from the truth. Most of my packages were estimated to to arrive within about 7 days, but I got them in about 3 days! If I ever have to ship an item, I know I will be doing it with the USPS.

Still Reliable

USPS is still often the easiest and more efficient way to send letters and packages. They've increased their number of shipping options, and have a website that is very helpful for calculating postage, finding a post office, and looking up zip codes.

Avoid it if you can

The Postal Service has bent over backwards to try to meet the competition from email and private carriers, with however virtually no success.

By using the Web to shop around you may be able actually to do better with a faster carrier like UPS (especially if you want insurance). And the added convenience of email is obvious.
