WORST EXPERIENCE EVER FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS FLOWN THE WORlD AND USED ALL AIRLINES
I am actually speechless for once!!! All as I can say... They are impossible to get in contact with and when you do they are impossible to deal with!!! Worst service ever and absolutely no human or compassion skills what so ever!!!!worse experience of my life that ended up cost me double the time and double the cost!!!!
They are not trustworthy peeps don't even think West Jet!!!!!

This is not an economy airline as they set out to be. They charge as much as anybody but have terrible service and try to contact someone live. If the poor service is reflected with much lower prices they wouldn't get as many complaints. Customers would just go along with "you get what you pay for".

i recently travelled to saskatoon from edmonton and on the flight going my satellite tv did not work for half the flight.coming home yesterday my tv didnt work at all. if westjet are going to offer this service they should make sure all seats have availability. its a good thing it was only an hour flight. but two weeks ago i went to toronto and guess what...my tv didnt work again....wow...

Westjet credits expire?
I recently cancelled a flight and paid the appropriate cancellation fee. I then asked that the remaining funds be transferred to my west jet account.The representative informed me that my funds would expire after 12 months. I inquired what "Expires" means. It means the airline (other airlines as well)
Just scoop the funds and call it "loss of funds" which is a polite way of saying" we took your money with no service rendered"
Anyone have a similar experience or clarification ?

I would like to give a "Thumbs Up" to Muriel, employee #3607 in Calgary for being so pleasant, knowledgeable and just a joy to talk with. I flew on Flt. 193 from Saskatoon to Kelowna on April 2 and she answered all my questions and was just so cheerful - What a nice lady you have working for you!

I am flying Westjet on April 3, 2011 from St. Lucia to Toronto to Calgary at 2pm local time. The checkin attendant 'Marisa' was extremely rude to my wife and I. I am very disappointed that West Jet as a Canadian Company has employees at your baggage check in that are intolerant, rude and impolite to travelling Canadians. I will reconsider my airline of choice on future excursions considering this absolutely unnecessarily rude baggage check in individual.

We love Westjet! We are 'Snowbirds' who spend the winter months in the Lake Chapala area of Mexico. We would love it if there was a flight from Calgary to Guadalajara - even once a week! There are lots oc Canucks here, and I'm sure they would line up for Westjet flights!

I will never fly westjet again, and I will tell everyone I know why.
I had to cancel a flight and Westjet refuses to refund the airfare back to me.
I will not be flying in the next 12 months, and they will not refund the airfare. The create an account for the next flight which must be taken within 12 months. I do not have any vacation within the next 12 months.
I am changing my fathers business flights from Westjet to any other airline - they will no longer be receiving his business, I am no longer sending my brother on his business trips ever 3 weeks via west jet, I will use any other airline except westjet.
I am activly going to tell everyone I come across from this point forward how horrible it was to book the flight via the jerk in customer service and that westjet is the worst airline becuase they are stealing my money from me.
