1998 Volvo s70 T5 2.0(Motor Model # B5234T)

I have been using this car for almost 2 years now. Volvo's especially this old models are very reliable cars if you take good care of them. The problems with mine all caused from the previous owner who is my father:)
After I got the car from my father I had several issues like water leakage was the main issue. I was adding normal water which you shouldn't (winter summer doesn't matter you should always use %50 coolant %50 purified water) radiator cracked so I had to change it. After I changed the radiator water levels keep on draining not as much as past but still a good amount. So then we discovered the heater radiator is the problem it was leaking water inside of the car in the cabin feet level. I changed this part to now I don't have any cooling system liquid problems.

Other than that you should be very careful with transmission fluid color and level. In the manual it says you don't need to change the transmission fluid ever (normally every 50.000km it may changed) but check it frequently so if the color fade to brown and levels are getting low you should get it changed. You don't wanna have transmission problems trust me!:)

This car has a enormous tork power with a turbo engine 225hp. When you push the throttle it instantaneously speed up and your body stick to the seat.

I can't say it is cost effective since the part labor is expensive. And it has 14Lt/100km which is a very bad gas milage in the city.

The quality of the parts is very good quality and robust. It is a 17 year old car now and had a couple of little issues about interior trim parts like window switches.

Overall I can say I highly recommend this car who wants a spacious car with high motor performance and luxury.
