memory failed

I only had the ereader about 6 months and haven't used it much but suddenly couldn't see my two books. It says it had no free memory and couldn't see the sd card. Is now completely useless. Wish I had spent some more and got a decent ereader.
On complaining the retailer said to contact binatone and they said to contact the retailer. Its just not worth the hassle.

Binatone Read Me Daily - Colour E-Reader

This was my first experience of an E-Reader , bought for me Christmas 2010. I know at the time it was £80 which was half the price of the equivalent Kindle. I have to say I loved it and put it to work immediately and found myself reading avidly for the first time in years. The layout is very simple and easy to follow. I found transferring books from my Pc was easy to do with the included USB cable. You have to remember that at the time there was no Kindle Fire and if iPads existed they were (still are) way out of my price range. So for what it cost it offered great value for money. It is still an excellent e-reader with various options for changing the size of the font for those of us whose eyes aren't what they used to be! For travelling etc it is still a great companion that if it were lost or stolen/damaged it wouldn't break the bank unlike the newer Tablets and ipads. They are available now on Ebay for as little as £20 and for that price it's a real bargain.
