BOSS Audio BV9364BI Great Buy for the price.
I just purchased and installed the BOSS Audio BV9364BI in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab. I had purchased first a 7" touch screen and with those units they all need to open up to put in a disc and also the SD disc. I did not realize how much that unit comes out of your double din opening when it is opened and also how far out it will have to stick while it is in closed position. With the angle that the opening is it does not make for a factory looking install or even an install of at least I belong here. I had to return that unit and go with the 6.2" screen which has the disc slot on top and controls down the side thus allowing you to install it flush with the dash opening and looking like a factory installation.For the price of this unit you get a tremendous amount for what you pay.
1. 80w x 4 (sound is amazingly loud and clear even though the EQ settings are presets)
2. Bluetooth ready and comes with the mic jack in the back and comes with the mic you can run up to your left visor or as I did up to my center overhead console so my passenger can be heard if need be. This was a crucial item for me as I have went through many decks with Bluetooth and a mic in the face of the unit and it does not sound as clear and like an actual phone call as units with the external mic ran up to the drivers head area.
3. Micro SD slots in front of unit, USB in back and in front, Aux in front, and an iPod cable from the rear so you can mount your ipod and 60GB of sound and video,
4. You actually get some nice radio features with the RDS part. It comes with TA (traffic announcements) PTY, AF
5. You can change the wallpaper to a few different choices, and the remote control and stylus are very handy.
Usually the units like this that you can get for $169 and have free shipping, free wiring harness, and free vehicle specific install kit with dash parts etc. do not have this many features and have this great of sound. If you are wanting a system that lets you play DVD's or video files and play CD's or mp3 CD's with BT, front disc access, a cable for your ipod or iphone and has the sleek look of a unit that is going to cost you at least $269 than you will be very happy with this unit from BOSS Audio.
