Cleans well; control panel is hard to use.
I've had this dishwasher for 6 years. This review is based on my experience using it 3-4 times per week.Using detergent pods and rinse aid, the dishwasher cleans well and leaves no spots or film. (My water is slightly hard; it has about 100 PPM calcium.) There's rarely any residual food on the dishes. I do NOT pre-wash dishes. I just take them from the table and put them directly into the dishwasher.
The dishwasher has an average noise level. It's about as loud as the $400-$500 Whirlpool dishwashers that I install in rental properties I own. The dishwasher is about twice as noisy as a top-of-the-line Whirlpool dishwasher.
The worst thing about the dishwasher is the control panel. It consists of a row of numbered buttons. You're expected to memorize what the buttons are for; they are unlabeled. This is incredibly stupid, but it's probably part of the "premium appliance" experience.
On the whole, I'd prefer one of the Whirlpool/Frigidaire dishwashers that I install in my rentals. Never had a failure, and those buttons are labeled.
