Lots of little problems but you'll forget about them all once you're on the road

First the bad, this car has notorious electrical issues and the one i drove was no exception. Other little things like the driver and passenger seats need Vin Diesel to slide them back and forth, the windows randomly start and stop working and a few dashboard lights are burnt out and next to impossible to get at. Yet all the problems are aren't on the drivetrain and it still drive beautifully.

BUT, once the car is on the road you forget all about those things. The car has a ton of character, you don't see this car every twelve feet like some vehicles. The tachometer goes up by 10, 20, 30... and instead of rpm it says 1/min. The fuel gauge says R when empty and 1/1 when full. It has a ski bag that will unroll from the trunk to in between the front seats so you don't have to lay the seats down. And once your on the road it really shines, the steering is variable power so it has great feel, It has very long gears so its not a rocket off the line but once you are up to speed it just glides down the road. Finally you hit winter and it will amaze you. And not just any winter but Canadian winter on the prairies with bone chilling temperatures and waking up to a fresh 10" of snow is not uncommon. This car powers through the snow with its quattro drivetrain. It never loses grip and stop lights you just pull away from while other cars just sit there spinning their wheels. It even puts some SUV and trucks to shame on shear ice roads. Just remember the quattro does not help you brake! It starts up just fine in the cold even without using the block heater and the heated seats are a dream. It is very easy to fall in love with this car.
