Motherboard power problems - older FX7410
Computer worked half-assed, replaced Vista with Win7, ran 48 hours, now won't start. Loops on/off every 10 or so secs. Checked inside box, 10 of 12 1000uF6.3v capacitors shot (pregnant)- replaced. Voltages very low on most 6.3V caps (anywhere from .87 - 1.8Vdc, no ripple - should be 5Vdc)Sounds like shot power transistor - no schematics - continuing troubleshooting
